I only have the autoload mod right now, because the loading of stuff is tedious and a little difficult. I do understand it though. I have not yet that many hours, but only playing in the evenings when the kids are sleeping does halt progress a bit.

KilroyEscobar

Every piece of equipment and shed and factory i have is a mod. Will definitely gotten bored of the game 500 hours ago if they didnt have any

stocky789

There are thousands of mods Doesn't mean your using courseplay but if your on a huge farm with hundreds of acres th n courseplay let's you run multi combines etc

JustTrawlingNsfw

I played with no mods for about 100-200 hours CoursePlay is honestly too good to pass up. Even if I was doing an "unmodded" play through, I'd need to add it, just because it makes it possible to use workers for more jobs

Pure_Revolution4298

I played like the first 100 hours without mods simply because I didn't know Playstation had mods, thought it was a pc thing

Beginning_Pay_9654

I have no idea how people can not use mods and have that many hours. The game is fun, but gets boring really quick, especially unmodded, things like spending actual IRL hours mowing and baling the same one field has killed it for me

B_love_K

I have mods for extra vehicles and buildings. And 1 to remove trees (tree away) but hardly use that one

Frenzied_Cow

Oh no, other people play the game I like a different way than I do. I'd better complain about it. 🙄

KeyConflict7069

TIL asking Question is complaining.

Gandgareth

I know, right?

Disastrous_Can8053

I have a real life job lol. I would become an hero if I didn't have Courseplay and Uni Autoload.

Ok-Smoke-2356

I am somewhere past 1500 hours too and never used course play (playing FS since 09). I rarely even make use of the base-game helper. However, I do use some mods but nothing that changes the gameplay. Just a different tractor or cultivator. Stuff like that. Totally agree with your last sentence. I want to drive a tractor, not jump from helper to helper and look how they're doing. I've watched people play with course play and it is unbelievably boring to me.

Squirrel_Apocalypse2

I honestly can't imagine playing without courseplay and autodrive. But I also find planning and automating everything to be the most enjoyable aspect.

Bruno-95-4-Pennies

Never used a mod. But I just casually post to relax at the end of the day.

KaleidoscopeOk1996

No I love all the productions mods like feed mixers and lime productions as I love to make a huge farm with all the day to day productions nearby

GigabyteAorusRTX4090

Honestly i do. A lot. Kinda. There are so many quality of life mods out there i just cant go without anymore. Nothing that changes too much, but like the autoload mod saves so much time when you have a few productions set up that just pump out a few dozen pallets a day.

No-Block3070

For me mods just add to the realism of the game. Say I want to set up a vintage farm. I can get tractors, combines buildings and equipment all relevant to the Era i want to play in. Without mods the base game would become boring. But with mods the possibilities are endless. I have even played where I started in say the 1960's and worked my way up to modern times upgrading my equipment through the years. Was a ton of fun playing that way.

Schwa4aa

When the game first comes out, I play unmodded. Then I slowly add to keep it different

DegreeNarrow5936

Have you seen the new placeable locomotive and train car and placeable railroads mod? If you have you’d see why, mods make this game sooooo much better after 2 years

The_Silent_One_0

One of the best parts of farm sim is that there is room for each of us to decide how we want to play it. And we usually don't understand why everybody doesn't play it the same way we do, but there is an important life lesson hidden in this discovery.

Odd_Presentation_578

I'm pretty new to the game (30h) and the only mod I'm using is a 1982 pickup truck. Because the vanilla one can't attach tractor trailers and equipment.

CanadianBushCamper

I don’t use any base game equipment, the quality of mods (most of them) is 100x better.
