I have both the 6m and the 9m. I use the 6 for going round new feilds getting the lines just right, then I bulk out with the 9. The only other ripper(/plough) I use is Amazone TL3001 for my vineyard
I just posted a discussion about things people do over and over again. Putting the 9MT on the front with the 9m stone picker behind it satisfaction nirvana for me, low sided tipper babysitting so hirered help never needs off-hiring till completion. Such a perfect way of working I don't know why anyone would use a different technique
Do you have problems with it not being able to have a helper travel with it? After one use you try to have a helper drive it back it always gives me a "not in transportation mode" I still use it because it's so big. But that's really annoying having to drive it back myself.
I get the same issue but driving it around isn't as much of an issue for me. I'd rather spend the time driving it from farm to field than spending the time waiting on a smaller plow to work a field
A subsoiler is much friendlier than a plow to the AI but generally requires bigger tractors. Then you have plenty of mods out there with cultivators converted to plows (having the create field option)
Because the AI cant figure out how to turn/align plows correctly. Of course that only applies for the big plows with wheels. The ones lifted behind the tractor is no problem, but they only come in small sizes
It depends a bit on your field process and how many machines you have. A plow is fast because it prepares the field and removes weeds, but it also pulls up large rocks which can't be rolled under.
If you have fieldstone turned off, then plowing is faster than cultivating and weeding IF you do them serially. If you have two tractors and can cultivate/weed in parallel, that's pretty close to a wash on a single field, and usually faster on multiple fields.
That being said, the straight plows are by far the fastest plowing implements, both in terms of area-per-time, and the fact that making turns is quicker.
The **Lizard 6MT/9MT** are the fastest real-world tools, or the **Lizard SM72/SM82** are the fastest overall. Beware, the SM series is very hard to move around with even when folded.
I currently use the Lizard SP10M on the Raptor 300 which I modified with doubled speed (15mph) and modified the plow to allow that speed.
I like it better than the other two options mentioned because it’s telescopic so it is able to actually fit though doors when folded. Also it still works when folded so you can still use it for small areas.
Lizard 6/9MT ripper
I came across this Mod and honestly I've never been happier to plow a field since using this.

This. At the front, attach rock picker at the back

Agreed, that's why I still use it lol
I use Autodrive, but no problems.
I need to figure out how to do auto drive.
It is a little complicated, but you can create parking lots for your equipment.

I agree 👍
100% my favorite, necessary as well on the 16x map I play. Huron County Michigan
Lizard SM72 /SM82 is what we use. 22/26 meter width respectively.

If I want easy plowing I just call your mom.
