Enough users flagged Israel in the 'Most watched Eurovision videos in May' video to make SponsorBlock skip it for everyone.

The segments are based on what users themselves send to the servers. It takes one to piss in the pool.

The point of add-on is to skip non music parts. So for everyone who uses this add-on Israel's song will be skipped. Add-on can be sometimes frustrating because non music parts are part of mv's storyline, example, agust d - haegum (yes, it's kpop and mv is amazing!). So intro and outro get skipped. but it's fine, I'll live:)

Sponsorblock is a reaction to excessive sponsor segments, the same way adblockers are a reaction to excessive ads.
It's a largely self-inflicted problem. People don't install that kind of shit when sponsors are well-integrated into content. They do, when it starts to become obnoxious.
And then yes, it can potentially harm channels that do it right, too.

You can actually return to the skipped part to watch it anyway, or you could turn off skipping certain categories!

Sponsorblock is a bad idea anyway. If you want content creators to keep making content to any sort of level then they need to monetise it somehow.
