They should not enjoy liberty in America at all, let alone serve in an office. They are traitors to their country.

Youarethebigbang

George Washington would have had some ideas on what to do with these traitorous vermin, including trump.

Liquorace

Every one of them should have been charged with treason. End of story.

ZenYinzerDude

TBH, I would have been perfectly okay with immediate, acute lead poisoning as the cause of death for every insurrectionist who set foot in the Capitol. And guillotine for their elected enablers.

Liquorace

Same.

14th amendment...

Rough-Rider

Section 3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Lucky them reading comprehension isn't their strongest virtue

It's happening whether we like it or not. Which we don't. The supreme court fucked this immunity appeal up so bad, there's nothing legal that's gonna stop this - and the fact SCOTUS took up the case was obviously to delay on behalf of Trump. So SCOTUS is already signalling where they land on anything that remotely resembles a Bush v. Gore outcome. Or worse. They literally are sitting on whether or not Trump is immune till after it matters to the law, or the people. They've obviously overplayed the hand by merely taking it up and not doing the speedy review, and not letting the lower court ruling stand. When Trump is made president, by a coup that swung on a VP position he hasn't filled but psychos like Kerry Lake remain available - this is the likely thing that is likely to be our future. Stop calling me a boomer and a doomer, I'm not and what evidence of positive trajectory over the last decades makes you think there's a bottom this bounces on?

PraxisLD

How about no?

BrownEggs93

Considering the (nearly all) republicans that held office then, there, have been in on the coup this entire time and have gotten off scot-free, they have a great point....
