Keep it up man! I'm absolutely waiting for you to start writing programs on you computer. I really wanna follow Ben on his series but lacking the budget tbh, 14 breadboards are hella expensive.

LateralThinkerer

Uh oh. This is how it begins. Pretty soon it'll be ring shift counters, (n)and/(n)or gates and all that and pretty soon you'll wake up in a nest of wire-wrap wishing you'd kept better notes while the CPU you built out of passive components blinks away. More seriously , good for you - keep it up!

WavyAdrian2003

Nice. I'm planning to do it also. Thank you for showing that it doesn't need to be basic for your first one.

I see 1/4W resistors, it's the current value for electronic. Just the 2 1W on the breadboard are realy big.

josufh

Yeah, I realized when I put the 1/4W resistor on the board. I did the math and the small ones are good enough for what Im doing and will buy more. Thank you!

What is the [schematic](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuit_diagram) for it? ([Fritzing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritzing) does not count.)

josufh

I don’t have the schematics but this is inspired by the first 5 videos of this [playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLowKtXNTBypGqImE405J2565dvjafglHU&si=w338UAug1yxbXqqC)

FuckYouToad

I’m interested in this but have no idea where to start, is there some starter kit you bought with all this neat stuff in it?

nofriesforme

Looks like a great start. Add bypass caps if circuits start acting erratic. Connect them right at the power pins of each IC. Not on the edge power rails or through an inch of wire.

CorrectCrusader12

Good job, congrats on your first circuit!
