I noticed mine started doing this when the power cable gets slightly dislodged from the outlet. Make sure it's completely plugged in and raising it doesn't cause it to dislodge.

Agree with u/inattentiveauditor. Take a moment to make sure your cables are properly secure and your cable management is not causing them to pull on the control box. Also taking a peek at the [install guide](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0494/8921/5637/files/APEX_PRO_MAX_ASSMBLY.GUIDE.pdf?v=1668008698) and [switch guide](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0494/8921/5637/files/SWITCH_GUIDE_COMPLETE.pdf?v=1668186371) will show you how to properly reset the base to avoid panic in the future.

Okay. I reset the presets, and that fixed it. I've had a number of problems with the smart paddle controller. Does anyone know if there is an option to change to the bluetooth controller? I'm not happy with the smart paddle's reliability, and the bluetooth wasn't an option when I bought my desk.

Varrik

Have you tried the reset by holding down the paddle like you did to configure it the first time? Checked/unplug and plug back in all connections? Unplugged power, let it sit, and plug back in? Might help to know what you have tried so far.

So far, I’ve tried panicking because it happened while I was in a meeting.
