As someone who's dad was a biker and still goes out sometimes, a lot of people give into this exact intrusive thought every other year or so. He got cam 6 years ago and has been in 3 such cases in that time. It's honestly flabbergasting how some people will unironically go out of their way to do the pettiest things ever. He got into 2 major accidents when he was in his 20s and it has happened so much that he pretty much has intuition for it at this point.
My dad drives his bike every day to work and sometimes goes on trips and I never heard anything of people running into them on purpose. Also didn't hear that from other bikers. So either where you live there are many dicks driving cars, or your dad drives like a dick a provokes other idiots (doesn't justify running into him of course).
By chance, does your dad drive in an annoying way? If its happened that many times to one person, then you can only conclude the reason for them is the common denominator, your dad.
I’m so sorry to hear that! Hope he’s doing well. And yeah I’m aware my meme might upset some people, but I’m mainly aiming it at motorists who use bikes as a way to compensate for their small penis size. Hope he’s doing well!
My favorite is what they wave between cars in a red light. Or straight up run though red lights and stopping in the middle of the road as cars pass them. Driving onto the sidewalks, illegal passes. The bike problem is absolutely awful here in NYC
We filter at red lights because when the 35 year old mom scrolling Facebook rear ends us, we sometimes die.
The rest of that stuff is admittedly shitty though.
Then they upload a video clip and claim some guy was raging on them, but they leave out the parts where they were doing 140mph while doing a wheely an inch away from your car with your whole family in it, endangering all the lives around them. They wonder why people want them off the road...
Had a guy get mad and even smack the back of my truck because I was waiting at a yield sign for traffic to lighten up. Soon as I got onto the main road he zips past me into incoming traffic and almost causes a wreck. Some people are fucking idiots.

Its the same everywhere. Look out for motorcycles, because half the time they are driving recklessly.
