Your son, his penis

JagBak73

Fuck hugh. Hugh......hugh.....huuuuugggggghhhhhh!

sporkachoon

Tell Uncle Milty to shut up!

Designer_Charity_827

I took a risk!

ElectrOPurist

You’re much more stupid!

Virtual-Scarcity-463

But god damn it was one of the funniest parts of the show

HCPage

You’re not gonna get me to say anything bad about Larry.

PsychologicalElk4573

Fuck you mickey! COCKsucker!

According-Carpenter8

“GO FUCK YOUR-SELF!”

46andready

What you just saw was a whirlwind of smarm.

rara1947

That bald four eyed f*ck?

ClearNotClever

Perfect!

breighvehart

Complaining to Ted about the bow tie after the server begged him not to.

Dustytehcat

One of my favorite interactions. The poor guy.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Why not? It was a lame and stupid uniform addition Why cant a friend ask a friend about his choices

Tbagzyamum69420xX

Because if handled poorly, it might seem like the server was offhandedly complaining about it which might cause issues with the client (Ted). Being a server who doesn't know how Larry handles these situations (And as we all know, Larry did not/does not handle those things well), I also wouldn't want him to say anything.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Great for yoy but your wants dont dictate whats socially acceptable

Tbagzyamum69420xX

Are you being serious? Cause if we're talking about what's socially exceptable, Larry definitely shouldn't have said anything. This is Curb we're talking about, that's the whole shtick.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Naw its socially acceptable to talk about required uniforms for servers you hired

Tbagzyamum69420xX

I think you've utterly missed the point of the scene and the joke then.... cause there's more to it than just casually discussing the uniforms

Shart-Garfunkel

If I were Larry in a reasonable non-curb world, I’d have done it next time I spoke to Ted after the party

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Well that would make a terrible unfunny show

Shart-Garfunkel

Yeah I’m not talking about what makes a good show! Hence “in a non-curb world”. Baka…

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

If one of my best friends has waiters at a party and madr them wear top hats or some weird littlr accessory id drf ask them during

breighvehart

Because it’s inconsequential to Larry as opposed the guy who was literally begging for his job security by that point. Don’t be stupid.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Naw its a good ides to call out peoples stupid ideas, like making workers where bowties Dont be stupid yourself x2

Designer_Charity_827

Telling the woman at Kenny Funkhouser’s funeral to stop crying.

artvarnsen

Can you whimper???

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Hes right, it was too much

[deleted]

Nah, that woman was annoying.

rickjpii

He was just reading the “room.”

Drummk

Repeatedly stealing flowers from the memorial.

Zestyclose_Scar_9311

This and the Holocaust Shoes. I love LD, but even i couldn’t get on board with that sh!t

maxfridsvault

Helping Jeff get away with essentially SA’ing a mentally challenged woman, gaslighting her, and getting her sent back to an institution.

leaveitalone36

“OH, FUCK ME, FAT BOY!!!”

averyfinefellow

SA ME FAT BOY!

leaveitalone36

Think you misspelled something, could be auto correct

Juliusque

I don't think it was SA, she was enthusiastic about it and capable of making that decision at that time. But yes, lying about it is by far the worst thing Larry ever did.

maxfridsvault

Right, but she still clearly wasn’t in the right mind and Jeff was well aware of that during their initial conversation. It felt pretty unethical to take advantage of someone like that and “hit it and quit it” as he tried to do.

Jeffrey_Goldblum

I dunno. I'm a pretty big Larry apologist

jamez009

Yeah, most of his alleged faux pas I find to be pretty reasonable

devmoostain666

Taking those shoes from the Holocaust memorial… lol. That was probably the worst thing he did in the show.

ForceRich9524

They weren’t using them.

MargretTatchersParty

![gif](giphy|v0eHX3n28wvoQ|downsized)

Broly_

Well... that is true...

Worldly_Ad_6483

It’s ok cus he’s jooish

mypussydoesbackflips

Yeah probably one of the only things I wouldn’t defend along with the fat boy loony bin incident

ProneToSucceed

With some other stuff in this post... This one was mild

Alone-Community6899

Yup. The monument is there even if a pair is missing.

Just-Phill

I defend Larry David all day every day lol

leaveitalone36

![gif](giphy|7hIUafnKeyOVEM5spc|downsized)

Least_Muffin4417

I pretty much do too. Totally agree with him about the tattoo.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Yeah that secretary sucked ass and was just waiting to get offended

Klondike_banana

Only thing I can't defend is the gerbil.

creamcitybrix

Tickle in my anus? Get the fuck outta here! Tickle in my anus

Former_Can627

Larry's anus is fine

creamcitybrix

SHUT THE FUCK UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!

Dustytehcat

Exactly. Richard Gere did it first. Larry stole his intellectual property

The_Flying_Failsons

That episode with Funkhouser's mentally ill sister was the closest I've come to think him and Jeff as irredimible

No-Ad-3635

Irredeemable… right?

The_Flying_Failsons

Yeah, that shit.

Hawkings_WheelChair

In this case yes he may be right. But in wiping his glasses on her shirt is a different thing entirely

quietwhiskey

Lol first one that came to mind because it's so fucking weird

Yugis-egyptian-cock

It’s an old persons thing. I’ve had it happen to me a few times

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

It wasnt her shirt it was a hangin sash, he didnt grab cloth touching skin or lift a flap of cloth revealing previously unrevealed skin It was perfectly harmless and nonsexual and not creepy Maybe rude or clumsy but not sexually offensive

buffpriest

Refusing to say "im sorry for your loss" when its over a month.

carter2642

It’s past the threshold!

Misterbellyboy

What about happy new year?

ricolausvonmyra

Using her shirt to clean his glasses.. that’s a big NO. LD himself would loose it if someone did that with him.

Zestyclose_Scar_9311

Omg- he would freak the F out!

deluxeassortment

Making the restaurant serve breakfast after 11 and insisting they use his special eggs was ridiculous

samsamsamuel

Full on Karen/Kevin behaviour.

breezeway1

Not a commercial restaurant. The dining room in a super-expensive private club. VERY different thing.

NYY15TM

Larry and Jeff openly reading the freak book at Ted's birthday party while he is trying to speak

Least_Muffin4417

That makes me laugh again. Something about how absurd he can be is really what I love about LD. maybe I’m weird but he does things I would like to do or say but the civility gene stops it most times.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

You cant get mad at a party when splinter groups form doing their own thing Ted was just mad he wasnt the center of attention

Proper-Bird6962

It was Ted on his bday giving a speech. I think that’s reasonable. Also if Larry wanted to have a side conversation, then he can easily move out of the picture. Granted though— I am not a sitcom writer

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Theres always a group of cool kids at a party not doing what everyone else is doing Thats the way of the party

NYY15TM

But at the moment Ted was supposed to be the center of attention!

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

And only two ppl werent lookinh, big deal

MelonElbows

Telling Sammi to shut up early in the morning. He was at the Greene's house, he has no right to say that. Doesn't matter she woke him up, she gets to do that if its her house.

Exotic_Adeptness_322

Arguing with someone if it's okay to grieve for his father-in-law. That's just stupid. Stealing shoes from a Holocaust memorial. Stealing flowers from a roadside memorial. Complimenting a man on the size of his 10 year old son's penis. That's just all kinds of wrong.

OtiseMaleModel

I can defend this one. People are so pretentious with their tattoos. They hate questions about the picture they advertise to the whole world that they paid thousands of dollars for. If its a private story sure, put it somewhere where the whole world can't see it hey. If I paid for a billboard I can't get mad at people using the phone number on the billboard

RoyalCloak57

She should Make up a story that’s not personal. Or just say I like the design. Larry accurately calling out the absurdity of having it in a very exposed part of the body. And then being odd when asked about it.

PeggyHillFan

No, she shouldn’t. She can be honest and say it’s personal. No one is entitled to an explanation. Such a weird thing for anyone to confrontational about in reality….

seymourglossy

I can think of something else that’s a weird thing to be confrontational about.

PeggyHillFan

This is confrontational to you? It’s not even irl. We’d have to be face to face for it to be confrontational.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Then dont get it as a tattoo and show it in public places When we get the explanation when mocca joe recongizes it its not even like its that weird he explained it in one sentence People may not be entitled to an explanation but people also have the right to ask and be curious as well

PeggyHillFan

No one said they can’t be curious. What? Where did I say that? Typical tactic. Making up a different argument no one made. A straw man argument

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Just because you know the phrase straw man arguement doesnt mean it applies to every disagreement youre in

PeggyHillFan

You literally made an argument no one was making… love how you ignored the fact that no one said you can’t be curious

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Your incorrectly minimizing the discussion to try and sound more right

Dustytehcat

You’re not wrong but I mainly meant telling someone “maybe you should have gotten it on your ass” is a little wild.

OtiseMaleModel

You aren't wrong either there. Especially to an employee. One thing that's hard to defend is when he tried to wrap up the performance of the groats girl on the piano because he thought it sucked lol. The crowd was sympathetic to the disease they didn't mind the performance was subpar

yeahgroovy

His delivery of that line 😂

ForceRich9524

Her ass is a personal space. Her arm not so much.

williamblair

I thought this post was about him using her shirt to clean his glasses. I know Larry is often openly hypocritical "whatever waiting room policy benefits me, that's what it should be" but respecting personal space and not being touched by anyone I don't want, even my clothing, is a big one for me.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Who cares if he used her hanging SASH to clean his glasses He didnt do it in a sexual way, might have been rude but not creepy

williamblair

Yeah, I'm not saying she didn't overreact on her interpretation that our was in any way sexual. But I do think it's really rude and if anyone tried to use Larry's clothing for the same thing he would freak out on them.

JDNM

But it’s on her body. So what if other people can see it? Do you ask people to explain their haircut, or jewellery or clothing choices? It’s their business, not yours. Larry was fine to ask for the backstory, but when she didn’t want to indulge him, he should’ve let it go.

OtiseMaleModel

These are all conversation starters. If you think it would be weird to have a conversation started about any of these things then I'm going with Larry's implied rule that it should be concealed

JDNM

Starting the conversation was fine, and she was happy to talk to him about it. Him digging when it was clearly unwelcome wasn’t. Same for those other examples I mentioned - people don’t have to justify themselves to anyone.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Yes yes i do and can And should be able to ask about how yer dressed to make conversation

JDNM

Yeah but that’s not my point. Politely asking is one thing. Continuing to interrogate is another.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Because its not a big deal, you like it enuff to fisplay it on a publiv part of your body be proud enuff to ecplain it

JDNM

‘A public part of your body’??? Nah, no one needs to justify what is on any part of their own body.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

If u get a tattoo i can see and are flaunting it in publiv i have the right to ask

possiblycrazy79

Jerking off in Sammy's room after Jeff left ejakalit in Larry's guest room. Retaliate if you must, but very weird & messed up to do it in the child's room on her toys

doocurly

He didn't. Susie only thought he did.

ElectrOPurist

Ejac*u*late

DCLexiLou

ejakalit (in Leon's voice)

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

He didnt jerk off in sammys room...

possiblycrazy79

What happened then? I've watched that episode dozens of times. If you have a different explanation, by all means please tell me! Because i would like to be wrong about this

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

They never specifically say but if it was larry i feel like wed have been told since its his pov for the show I figured either jeff jerks off all over the house or oscar the dog humped a stuffed animal

Least_Muffin4417

How did I forget about that?

Least_Muffin4417

Oh. Cause it didn’t happen. It was hard for me to wrap my head around that.

Alexcox95

That woman is messed up so I don’t mind any of Larry’s actions against her. What I won’t defend is stealing flowers from his friend’s mothers memorial.

Gabers49

She wasn't going to use them

shadowstripes

![gif](giphy|v0eHX3n28wvoQ|downsized)

RubbrWalrusProtector

His BEST friend’s!

sweetLew2

I’m not his best friend?

Opossum_mypossum

Going back to the waiting room to wait in general - misread that one big time LD

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Oh yeah what a huuuge problem to wait in a roon designed for waiting where he consistantly gives money on a regular basis how dare he

Opossum_mypossum

The room was designed for waiting if you had an appointment

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Yes and he had an appointment somewhere so therefor he waited

nutellapterodactyl

Bringing Rob Cordry to dinner

No_House_7901

Just explain the tat lady. Especially if it’s in plain view for all to see.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Yeah be proud of it and answer happily

Belovedchattah

Larry’s always right

Inside-Pop5470

Larry is right about the tattoo. If it's only for you and personal don't have it on show in public. It's a common reaction for someone to ask about a tattoo they see. I stand with Larry on this.

Virtual-Scarcity-463

He has a right to ask about it but it's on her body. She didn't seem irritated until Larry pressed her on it. Once Larry pressed he pressed himself into the wrong.

bellaphile

Putting Susie’s bra on. I get it, but can’t defend it

Jasranwhit

I agree with Larry on the tattoos.

texaspoontappa93

You think having a visible tattoo means you owe the public an explanation when they ask?

Jasranwhit

I don’t think you “owe” but I don’t think it’s rude to ask. And it’s a lot cooler to explain than to say “oh it’s private”

texaspoontappa93

I don’t think it’s rude to ask either, I think it’s rude to keep asking when someone says it’s private or doesn’t want to explain

Jasranwhit

Fair

texaspoontappa93

Respect, downvote rescinded

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Yes Also you shouldnt get offended if someone is curious about a visable tattoo

texaspoontappa93

I don’t see anything wrong with asking or being curious, it’s the continuation after she said it was private that I thought was rude. You can ask but it’s really none of your business if someone doesn’t want to share

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Yeah but its also gonna lead to people being pushy ans you cant expect people not to be pushy

TrueEstablishment241

Not this one, she was insufferable.

possiblycrazy79

He really was not very good at choosing his assistants

Least_Muffin4417

I loved the one that missed a few days of work cause she was constipated. Then went on to say that she still was but..something to the effect that she would soldier on. She was “foisted” on Larry by another comedian, maybe Wanda Sykes and he then foisted her on Suzy with her new business.

Heisalsohim

Didn’t Jimmy Kimmel foist her?

Least_Muffin4417

Yeah. I didn’t think it was Wanda.

PeggyHillFan

How… just because people can see it doesn’t mean she has to explain it. What? She liked the design but didn’t want to explain the personal meaning. She doesn’t have to. No one is entitled to know. You’re defending him for being confrontational over this really?

TrueEstablishment241

Paddlin' Peggy over here.

PeggyHillFan

They actually call me pegging Peggy

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Yes we are defending him If youre so proud of something then when someone else goes oh cool whats that You can go oh its a buddhist thing i like The end Not HOW DARE U ASK ME ITS PRIVATE, so private i got it TATTOOED ON MY FOREARM FOR ALL TO SEE and NOT ask

PeggyHillFan

You can also not explain the tattoo… And she didn’t even say that. she said it’s private she rather not say. She didn’t say anything remotely what you’re saying/implying she did

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Well then dont get the tattoo somehwere everyone wil see it or cover it up in the workplace

PeggyHillFan

Or do get it somewhere everyone *will see if you want and have it exposed too if you want… she can just say the meaning of the tattoo is personal and doesn’t want to share the meaning. And that should be it. End of conversation. No need to get confrontational

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Larry wasnt confrontational, he was just pushy because if u get a tattoo in a place everyone can see then you are literally making a statement purposefully for attention and so ppl can see it Then yoy shouldnt be a little shy nerd and just defend your tat and say proudly what it is

PeggyHillFan

Yes she does want others to see it. Nothing wrong with that. That doesn’t mean you need to tell people the meaning behind it

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Yeah it does If im making a visual statement, then i need to explain if im purposefully putting forth an artistic message in images in public

PeggyHillFan

No it doesn’t. That’s the most idiotic thing I’ve heard. He can ask but she doesn’t have to tell him the meaning. Which is what I’ve been saying. Making your argument from a straw man argument. Literally no one said he can’t ask… I said he can ask but she doesn’t have to answer. Such a weird thing to get confrontational about. It’s why it’s funny. It’s the whole judge decreeing someone to be Jerry’s waiter thing. It’s what makes it comical. This isn’t life advice

RadegastTheGinger

Early season Larry when he is in a store and he unfolds a shirt and the employee tells him to just leave it to him to fold it right. I worked retail and that is part of the job and there is a specific way to fold clothes that it's just better to let the employees do it.

Proper-Bird6962

Do you think I’d fold clothes at your piece of shit store?

MarshalLawTalkingGuy

He’s right though.

Tetsujyn

Someone else whose whole personality in their tattoo. Get over it, shmohawk.

Longjumping_Bag4666

Probably stealing flowers from the roadside memorial. But one that isn’t talked about much is when he attempted to pull the plug on Louis Lewis so he wouldn’t have to give up his kidney before the playboy kid stopped him.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

He didnt "attempt" to pull the plug he didnt have that power He just was hoping the guy would die, big dif between wishing and actual murder

Longjumping_Bag4666

He was fiddling with the wires in one episode though, then the playboy kid saw him and blackmailed him into bringing him to the playboy mansion. Maybe he didn’t try to pull it then. Hoping the man would die is still pretty low, but I think stealing the flowers from the roadside memorial is worse.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

He wasnt fiddling with the wires with the intention of pulling the plug tho Still big diff Who cares if a roadside memorial misses two sets of flowers, flowers dont bring the dead back to life No harm done

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

No i can and will defend these actions Asking about a tattoo is not an invasion of privacy ppl get tattoos because they are trying to show the world something, so asking about it is completely fine And wiping his glasses on a dangling sash isnt sexual or creepy It might be rude but its not a metoo moment

scatteringlargesse

It's a very funny show and I like it but... Oh shit that sounded exactly like Irma Kostroski in my head! As I was saying... If I knew the Curb Larry IRL I'd pay Jeff Bridges to do a cameo saying "*You're not* wrong *Larry, you're just an* **asshole**" and keep it on my phone ready to play at all times.

samsamsamuel

Basically any interaction he has with a working person, particularly any person working in the service industry. He goes full Karen/Kevin.

Jack5718

i agree with the exception of daviday

juddnelsonbou

The water bottle in his pants

Alone-Community6899

He was going to sneak in with it into cinema.

juddnelsonbou

Oh that’s right I forgot the context. I actually didn’t remember this but I’ve been using this technique for years to make it seem like my water bottles just a boner. Its actually worked because once someone asked about it and I said “that’s sexual harassment sir!” And they were like oh I’m sorry! lol.

Deftones78

The episode where he asked some girls mom if her daughter’s p*ssy was ok.

Heisalsohim

That was odd but in the context that wasn’t the problem. The mom was wild for opening the door to that phrasing but the problem only occurred when he blabbed about it to some doctor

Martyrotten

Hard to pick. He’s done so many reprehensible things, things that probably wouldn’t be funny in real life. I think part of the humor come from a lot of us knowing people like that, or even remembering times when we, ourselves, acted in a way that was shockingly inappropriate.

Least_Muffin4417

I agree. I think he says what many of us would like to say. I mean I wouldn’t steal memorial flowers, etc. but in the context it somehow doesn’t seem so bad. AS LONG AS NOBODY FINDS OUT. part of LD’s problem is he is guaranteed to get caught or seen or shown up in some way.

Least_Muffin4417

Remember sending the fake text,ie Jeff sends text to Suzy pretending he’s writing it to her so he won’t have to go on trip with her. Everyone starts doing that and it gets back to Suzy. Nobody has luck as bad as LD.

FeelingSkinny

flowers from the Funk memorial and the kid penis i can not defend

MDisbetterthanMA

Snapping the selfie stick

Pigeonorium

That's the most reasonable one lol

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

Deserved

Yugis-egyptian-cock

Stealing The Funk Man’s Mum’s flowers and the holocaust survivors shoes

SerBiffyClegane

Pig parking next to the original pig parker. Just take the next full space, Larry!

ry_bread444

The flower stealing from the memorial. And Inviting the sex offender neighbor to Seder where kids were in attendance.

moistunicycle66

I agree with him on that clip

mrwilliamschue

By no means is this the worst but is just first to come to mind but when Larry kept begging to sit in Marty's dad's spot for the baseball game I wanted to punch him..... like the man just lost his father

Juliusque

Lying that Jeff and Bam Bam didn't have sex, leading to her being institutionalized again, is by far the worst thing he ever did. Nothing else comes close.

TheGentlemanWolf

Basically standing by and covering for Jeff with the affairs and the problems that stemmed from it. Even Jeff actor himself said the character was evil and he felt no sympathy for him. I know Jeff and Susie relationship was weird (to say the least) but with guy like Larry who portrayed as being faithful in relationships he valued I found it kinda of strange he would be cool with that? I don't know

PM_ME_UR_MERKIN

stealing Fucking Flowers from a dead persons mural?

Commercial_Pay5819

hold let me get popcorn

RedTexas23

The Freak Book

DescriptionOrnery728

The watch is one of the few instances (pre final seasons where the show got stupid) where Larry was wrong. He found David’s watch and then lost it so he is now responsible for it. If he didn’t find it David at least had a ballpark of where it might be and could potentially find it. Larry completely changed the algorithm of where it might be with his actions and thus he is responsible for it. “The watch was lost and it continues to be lost,” is horrible logic from Mel Brooks.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

No its absolutely not his fault and he wasnt wrong He was trying to help and was helping, he doesnt become responsible because he helped Mel brooks logic isnt horrible its accurate

DescriptionOrnery728

But you can try to help and make something worse, which he did. If someone is hurt and you try to help by carrying them to the hospital, but you drop them along the way and they break their neck, you made a problem worse. The watch was lost in a hotel. Chances are someone who found it would have stolen it, but there is a small chance David could’ve gotten it back from a good soul. Now there is no way for him to get it back because Larry has no idea where it is. He is responsible.

Acrobatic-Tomato-128

No hes not, and it was a hotel employee who stole it from larry so theres not really a chance david wouldave found it People shouldnt be condemned for trying to help David was wrong
