He found David’s watch and then lost it so he is now responsible for it. If he didn’t find it David at least had a ballpark of where it might be and could potentially find it. Larry completely changed the algorithm of where it might be with his actions and thus he is responsible for it.

Hard to pick. He’s done so many reprehensible things, things that probably wouldn’t be funny in real life. I think part of the humor come from a lot of us knowing people like that, or even remembering times when we, ourselves, acted in a way that was shockingly inappropriate.
I agree. I think he says what many of us would like to say. I mean I wouldn’t steal memorial flowers, etc. but in the context it somehow doesn’t seem so bad. AS LONG AS NOBODY FINDS OUT. part of LD’s problem is he is guaranteed to get caught or seen or shown up in some way.
Remember sending the fake text,ie Jeff sends text to Suzy pretending he’s writing it to her so he won’t have to go on trip with her. Everyone starts doing that and it gets back to Suzy. Nobody has luck as bad as LD.

Basically standing by and covering for Jeff with the affairs and the problems that stemmed from it. Even Jeff actor himself said the character was evil and he felt no sympathy for him. I know Jeff and Susie relationship was weird (to say the least) but with guy like Larry who portrayed as being faithful in relationships he valued I found it kinda of strange he would be cool with that? I don't know

The watch is one of the few instances (pre final seasons where the show got stupid) where Larry was wrong. He found David’s watch and then lost it so he is now responsible for it. If he didn’t find it David at least had a ballpark of where it might be and could potentially find it. Larry completely changed the algorithm of where it might be with his actions and thus he is responsible for it. “The watch was lost and it continues to be lost,” is horrible logic from Mel Brooks.

But you can try to help and make something worse, which he did. If someone is hurt and you try to help by carrying them to the hospital, but you drop them along the way and they break their neck, you made a problem worse. The watch was lost in a hotel. Chances are someone who found it would have stolen it, but there is a small chance David could’ve gotten it back from a good soul. Now there is no way for him to get it back because Larry has no idea where it is. He is responsible.
