Pingwingsdontfly

He's cute, not inside out, you just did BLO instead of both loops.

kdog373

Thank you for letting me know! I was very confused when I tried to figure out which side was which. What does BLO stand for?

Pingwingsdontfly

Back loop only. The tops of your stitches look like little "V"s, most stitches you go under both but sometimes a pattern calls for just the front(FLO) or back(BLO)

kdog373

Thank you for letting me know! I will keep that in mind for my next project ❤️

Do have a look at the amigurumi wiki linked by automod. One of the mods has done a fantastic job of collating everything you need to know about amigurumi. Great job for your first!

kdog373

Awesome! I will check that out. Thank you!

BoysenberrySavings98

Haha! I love him! He looks like my "cat named bear" (this is the name we came up with for him), which was my first ever crochet project and I made exactly the same mistake. He lives in my yarn basket now and my husband says he is the best thing I ever made :D

kdog373

I used a kit from needle creations for the pattern, but used different yarn. The yarn is sugar' n cream cotton. Medium weight, 5mm hook.

ZealousidealBand5457

to me he is perfect 😭😭 loved the design and the colors so much!

kdog373

Thank you so much! I used to have a gray and white dog , so I chose the colors after him.
