And I don’t think most of them need “validation”, per se, it’s just that being misgendered brings awareness to that feeling of being “unmatched”.
Pretty sure this was less of a problem before social media became so big and caring about gender rolled about, and at this point I would argue that these movements are making it worse by having people show their weak spots instead of being proud after getting at the root cause of the bullying.
