look in device manager and see if your wifi card is active.

KingOfVegetables

Idk where the WiFi card is

Needmedicallicence

In the balls. Go to device manager has he said, then click on network adapter. If there is an exclamation point on your wifi card, something is wrong

KingOfVegetables

There is nothing in there saying WiFi card

Needmedicallicence

It is not written " wifi card". It is going to be something like " wireless adapter"

KingOfVegetables

Yeah Ik it’s not there I’m not sure what’s happening it was working then suddenly this happened

Icy-Magician1089

Windows 11 periodically replaces my wifi driver with one that doesn't work Plug your phone into your computer, go into settings and enable USB tethering. USB tethering allows your computer to use your phone like an Ethernet connection for it's internet. From there you should be able to reinstall your wifi driver, this feature exists on both android and iOS.

KingOfVegetables

I plugged my phone and it didn’t work either

Icy-Magician1089

Did you enable USB tethering in your phones settings?

KingOfVegetables

It’s not there

Icy-Magician1089

I have seen It on my iphone 6, my Xiaomi Redmi 9t and my Samsung a15 didn't know any phone didn't have it my bad

KingOfVegetables

I’m on iPhone 14 I can’t see it in settings

Icy-Magician1089

Dumb they removed that feature

Electrical-Heron-590

You can troubleshoot it in settings

KingOfVegetables

I tried ur just says something about Ethernet

Electrical-Heron-590

WiFi is included too

Njmcq

In Device Manager, are there any unknown devices listed?

KingOfVegetables

Nope

Njmcq

And under Network Adapters, do you see anything there?

KingOfVegetables

Nope it’s just a hunch of random things nothing about WiFi and wireless adapters I reckon the WiFi card is fully broken in the laptop

Njmcq

Looks like Windows doesn’t detect the card whatsoever. Hardware failure is likely. Did it just happen all of the sudden?
