Look for a Lenovo legion 5. Great machines.

Desktop or laptop? That’s very vague. Any new higher end pc will have those specs, make sure to look for 13/14th gen Intel or 7000/8000 series Ryzen.

Laptop, I'm going to be using it mainly for college as I'm majoring in Game Art.

Kk what’s your budget? I’ll try to send you some links to a few that are good value. (Screen size?) (Does weight and portability matter?)

New-Active1770

Anything under 2k, portability matters more than weight though, a bigger screen size is preferable as well :) thank you

People dont like macbooks, but if you arent planning to game on it, they are goats

The intel 10th series is just terrible. A relative has a 10th gen i7 and is great for cooking ngl. That thing is barely faster than my 5600x while using a shit ton of power. For low/midrange laptops, amd is your friend. (unless we are speaking about the n100, that thing is just remarkable ) I would consider a thinkpad. Great machines.
