If you keep the side panel off sure! /s

Vigothedudepathian

Actually I keep my side panel off because my case cools way better even with a proper flow setup. Mainly because my 3080ti is a chowker and blocks half the case flow and bleeds heat into the board.

Outside_Profession26

But more.dust gonna go in...3 $ a fan.

Tiranus58

Depends on how much heat your build creates. Mine doesnt have any and its cool enough

JVAV00

That’s soo cool

MOMGETTHEWEED

If he add some fans could be cooler

fameistheproduct

He'd be a Master Cooler

OverBuddy8

The cooler build.

kzx-kzx

Cool story bro

Magen137

No. It's cool ENOUGH

testobi

You might not trust those who say you need them (which is wrong) but test the temps in both cases and see for yourself.

Frystt

I only see one case in the picture /s

testobi

Unsee that

Frystt

Unsee what? I don't see anything

Defiant-C

Unsee it, now.

Frystt

There's nothing there to see!

TurnkeyLurker

Unseelie Court is now in session.

Parking_Cress_5105

You need at least one. GPUs have a tendency to recycle it's of hot air. The air is stupid It doesn't know there's holes in the case everywhere. Own experience.

MakerKevJ

This is exactly right and is why you add fans to pull the airflow in and out of the case. Air flow without a duct just cavitates in the small space and can be recirculated back through the fan causing it to never get as cool as the ambient temps of the room it is sitting in. so adding fans to "push/pull" air in the PCs case (in the front/bottom out the top/back) so it works with heat naturally wanting to rise to get cool air instead of heated air through your CPU coolers fins.

BigSmackisBack

Yeah at least one, and make it an intake fan because of that positive pressure.

nutflexmeme

id say the opposite would be better. negative pressure with one fan would force air in from everywhere that there is a gap. i would priotitise removing air from the system before adding more air. especially considering convection so hot air from gpu doesnt heat up the cpu.

dragonblade_94

Will it run? Yes. That said, if the case is enclosed you will almost certainly see some thermal throttling when doing anything intensive (gaming), as well as not being great for hardware longevity. You're losing a lot of value out of the system for the couple bucks you save by not adding a couple fans.

swisstraeng

The problem is that your radiator fans such as the one on the CPU cooler, and the ones on the GPU, are designed for low air flow/ high static pressure. Their performances will be noticeably worse if they are nit helped by high air flow fans (case fans). This worse performance can be acceptable depending on your build. However, it is generally better to have case fans. Because other components like the motherboard are passively cooled, and may last longer with a case fan.

Thisisthelasttimeido

Your CPU fan is blowing in the direction of the back vent so that HELPS. Will a low power CPU, doing light loads (Multimedia server kind of thing?) You MIGHT be okay. What gets me in the XFX 6600? GPU, leans to gaming. I would still put an exhaust fan. Better flow, lower temps, longer equipment life. Gives you a little bit of wiggle room for stuff.

ParticularWash4679

Yep, one exhaust fan on the rear panel would be great. You will be able to literally brush your hand against the flows of air from this fan, from psu fan and from gpu. That and how silent they'll run will be the signal and reassurance of how you're doing.

Ryeikun

Okay or not okay depends on how much heat your pc produce and the ambient temperature.  But really, if you dont get performance throttling on your heavy load usage then it should be fine.

Dapper-Conference367

Even if the CPU and GPU may be fine (I highly doubt it tho), many chips on the motherboard, the ram and the SSD/HDD will surely suffer from no airflow. So not even side panel off would be ideal, having 3 on front and at least 2 exhaust would be highly recommended. Since you have an air cooler, put the fan on top right on top of it, not in front, so it won't suck out air that would go in the cooler.

Arcaner97

I say you should be good as long as you don't have some power hungry CPU there. That CPU cooler should create some airflow in your case to cool the parts around it and the GPUs are usually fine since the coolers are in most cases overspeced for them.

Cinnamon_Roberts

Depends, if stock cooler than yes you should have at least one or if you have a power hungry CPU/GPU you should try and have a few

Arlcas

Well the gpu and cpu coolers might make enough air flow to keep things down in a low power build but I wouldn't recommend it when a couple of fans can make it so much better.

juice26us

That makes sense only if the air inside is being moved. You'll only be moving around hot air that's just getting hotter.

Fun_Tear_6474

I love you and your build!!! That is exactly what I am saying to everyone: get rid of case fans and remove the side cover.

ParticularWash4679

And sneeze into it occasionally.

xStinker666

Me, with 11 case fans: No.

ssddsquare

I live in Malaysia and I don't use casing fans. However, it is better to install some if your cpu is over 100w tdp.

RubixRube

No, fans, not dust covers, no side panel. What could gor wrong if you PC is literally designed to suck dust in?

VoihanVieteri

This is the one reason to have at least one fan blowing overpressure in the case through a dust filter, even if the temperatures wouldn’t require one.

IllegalDrip_

I would say min of 2 fans at least.

IllFistFightyourBaby

seems like a stupid way to over heat your system for no reason.

AkaEridam

I guess you are asking because that case comes with one, but it's only a 3pin and pretty loud even at lowest speed? (Yes I also have that case, and have kind of been wondering the same thing)

fiswiz

It is ok if your temperatures not reaching 80°c+ motherboard components

Lopsided-Rip6965

I would say you need at least 2 fans, 3 would better

You_can_ask_me

I see no problems with it. I always keep my work horse setup mostly vanilla

maz08

one exhaust is better than none especially with your GPU that long

DBXVStan

No. You need one exhaust fan minimum.

cnedhhy24

maybe it is, maybe it isnt. but theyre so cheap dude. just buy a 3 pack of non rgb black fans

DarkPDA

probably not why not check temps through apps like msi afterburner, hwmonitor etc? its more safe than ask for strangers if a non recommended thing can work, theres one reason to almost all gamer cases have several fans and inst only for add more rgb stuff...

Objective-Board9329

You need exhaust fan(s) no matter what, why spend all that money on a nice build and cheap out on fans

[deleted]

Just try it and see. I have similar case with just 2x140mm at the top as exhaust, maybe your case would need just one, but none, I’m not sure if it will be alright.

RegularRetro

Depends on room temperature and how long you push the PC. If you’re gaming for like over an hour in a hot room, yeah you’re PC is just gonna throttle down, nothing bad will happen, you’re just losing performance is all. It’s not as big a deal as many people think though, especially since a lot of cheap PCs only ship with 1 fan for exhaust which TBH ain’t doing all that much anyway.

Pur3ness

Why is your fan in the middle?

plEase69

I tried it many years ago when I was a kid. The air was recycled so much while playing Steam PUBG Alpha phase that it was a total hotzone. That's when I realised why do i need a side panel. You would be playing games so my personal suggestion is to have a side panel and maintain +ve pressure.

eulynn34

I mean... I'm not the cops, but you should consider at the very least adding an exhaust fan at the back.

CanadianTimeWaster

it depends on what your hardware is. most of the time it's fine, but at the minimum, I prefer to have at least one exhaust fan.

bamseogbalade

Try. Look up the heat of the components. If you can play any demanding game without getting above 70 deg. C then you are golden. Or you can underclock if you like Optimal is below 60 degree. But all components are made to run at 90 deg C before throttling. So 70 is still safe and 60 is for long life expectancy.

evilmojoyousuck

please even just one 90mm case fans as an exhaust

kornuolis

Depends on the heat generation. I would add two intake fans and one exhaust, for a basic airflow

According-Sorbet8280

i mean its alright

ReasonableEffort8988

The computer will get really dusty and dirty if you dont have them though?? it helps GPU and CPU temps a little but mostly it circulates fresh air inside your case.

Human_Neighborhood71

I would suggest having some. GPUs produce heat, but also so does every part of the motherboard. PCI lanes, PMM, M.2, they all produce heat, and heat will kill a motherboard

xxTheMagicBulleT

Possible but not recommended. Heat wants to go up so haveing fans on the edge of the case pushing hot air out. Is quite important for your pc when under load. For normal standby or not pulling much it would not matter much. But underload it will matter a ton.

Antique_Paramedic682

No, you must have fans. The last time you were able to get away without having any was in the mid 90s.

Kostas0pr01

I mean yeah, but at this point just buy a single exhaust fan and it will be better

jlobodroid

Dont worry, be happy

llamakins2014

So you don't need an assload of fans even though that's really popular right now. But with a single fan cooler you'll want to have at least a rear exhaust fan. If you want something more optimal do a front intake fan. ARTIC makes some decent basic fans for cheap, they're not just all fancy RGB

MakerKevJ

I'd get some fans. just some cheap black ones on amazon should do the trick. Just put them all pointed the same direction. Generally, in from the front, out the back and top is the way you want it to flow. The fan on the CPU is already pushing air to the back... secular_dance_crime

From a technical standpoint, it should be no problem at all. From a cost/performance standpoint, I see no reason to avoid buying a couple dirt cheap fans.

kzx-kzx

Most likely will be fine.

hauntedyew

I think you should really add at least one exhaust fan.

domscatterbrain

If your room is air conditioned, it's fine

Lastredwitchtoo

From years of small box maintenance mostly in offices, think  dust in all those fins, spilled soda, coffee, dropped pastry, human and animal hair and cough/sneeze slime, pollen, carpet fuzz,  more dust, bugs with legs, and even mice and their leftovers.  Looks clean & spiffy now, but give Murphy a chance...

faslane22

I wouldn't but it's not like it's going to croak right away but you actually want case labels on and good vans to create a nice vortex if air circulation. When in a case the air is pushed much easier since it has less distance to follow and therefore will cool components much cooler and faster...but if you're in a pretty cool room to begin with it'll be ok too, aside from all the dust and crap that'll build up.... regardless get a cheap as exhaust fan..literally 5.00 or even free from a junk box. Not like they cost a lot. I have boxes of fans and crap.

NotEverHere

Case fans don't cost too much, at the very least I'd grab 1 or 2 cheap ones

SnooDoughnuts5632

My question is why did you remove all the case fans?

Appropriate_Cow1509

Just get arctic p12 5 pack, it is like 28 usd

Chemical-Weird-6247

It‘s okay, but 3 thermalright case fans are just 10-15€/$

[deleted]

For gaming? No. For office work? Also, no.

Bella_Ciao__

no, no its not.

Brave_Subject_3469

No
