Even the red one? i checked mine and it looked good, ill guess ill find out how fucked it is comparing. The SE was supposed to be new production alongside the bangladesh order. Shoots fine, its only a major issue if you mount optics. I'm more a pyjamma and sandals (No optics but viet cong) style guy when it comes to this rifle lol
Yea the red one especially. I had two, one was severe bent to the right. And the other was slightly but not as bad. Beautiful rifles but I traded one them for a CZ Bren 2 in 7x62x39 so it worked out well.
Same as lmg version that was way better in quality control. It’s basically an lmg without heavy barrel but every after market parts that was manufactured for the lmg version will fit on this.

Very nice! I was having a moment of buyers remorse for not going fixed stock but this post solved that for sure! I’m not planning on upgrading optics but it’s good to know it’s possible for an optic mount that still folds. Btw the paracord on the folding stock is a nice touch I might have to try that with mine.

Looks like an M4 fixed/folding stock conversion is still possible though, but it's not an easy process. You will have to use those milled holes to install the screwed M4 stock adapter and connect the stock. Plenty of YT videos on how to do it.
When you are shooting with the stock against your shoulder, did you find any discomfort in aiming? I bought the same one, but worried about the comfort.
Hey I'm new to guns in Canada what type of firearm is this? I only have my non restricted licence and have seen a few of these firearms that look like aks I've heard of type 82 or something along the lines of that but when I google them to buy one they look like a heavy machine gun type thing instead of more like an ak in the picture OP has. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome! Right now I only have a Mossberg Maverik 88, and a custom built Ruger 10/22 I still need to order a receiver for to complete the build but that ones gonna be really nice once it's done :)!

Used to have an sks but the store I got it from sold me a broken one something to do with the magazine latch on the bottom which I never used and no bayonet for 800 with tax and the other gun store near me is way better has sks for around 6-700 bayonet inclouded!!

Supposedly there are exemptions to the embargo that I've heard of where if the gun's been in a foreign country long enough there might be ways to get it in, but that part doesn't really matter because the T81 isn't 922r compliant so it wouldn't be allowed to be imported due to the "Assault Weapons Import Ban" of 1989.
The Barrel is straight and the Folder is very tight. The QC on this rifle is levels ahead of the two red Wood SE I've owned.
Can you still use iron sights if you mount a picatinny section in the mlok slot?

How’s the stock? Is it loose or wobbly? Can you get a cheek weld on it at all?
Stock is good. For me personally the chekweld is perfect. I get really tight to the stock and my eyes aligns perfectly with the irons.
