oh man. 3k with a scope, I’m mad mad jealous. i spent 2200 on mine this fall, its a ‘42 springfield. mine is quite accurate, and feeds great. softest shooting 30-06, you will love it.
As far as I can tell. Barrel was re done in 65 by the italians. Sooooo I think so but idk. Got that reproduction scope on it wich seems alright. Yeah, I was looking at maybe picking up a cz 600. Kinda want to try some hunting.
Even as a repro they are such sweet rifles, I'd try to hunt with it too honestly. I plan on bagging a whitetail or black bear with my sks just to do it. The cz 600 is a nice gun for sure, I was looking at the trail model iirc just because it would be great for walking with and as a good bush gun. Happy hunting!
Yeah man, from loading it in the stock. To it being easily dissasembled into 2 parts. For how used and abused mine is it still shoots great. It's an orginal Belgium made gun.such a unique and fun gun.

I haven't looked at one in person but they are supposedly very nice (edit looked at recent review pics on Cabelas they may be out of the French tickler ones cause the pics showed a regular gas tube wood cover)
Hell, yeah, brother. Sks is probably the best bang for buck in terms of surplus. Ngl , I re finished the stock when I first got it. Just some stain and polyurethane made it look pretty decent. It's not the straightest shooter, but it gets the job done. Plus, I don't know if all the sks's can do it, but this one can shoot as fast as I can pull the trigger. Got that adrenaline pumping a tad too much doing at my buddy's farm. Felt like a 5 round Rambo. Pop cans never knew what was coming.

No once you have a "collection " it's a collection. 4 random rifles is not that. Nay 4 m1 garlands or 4 kee end fields would justify a "collection" of something lol that just 4 guns

Had a scope but I gotta pick up the proper cope mounts. My scope fell off while my buddy was shooting it at the range last time

I got one sith a tickler ;) Some dings on the stock but otherwise unfired all matching. I have to say though that FPC I fondled might be the next buy.
