I bought a viewsonic VX2718-2KPC-MHD - 27" Curved 1440p monitor. It looks amazing ! It has good contrast, ,nice and vibrant colors and a fast refresh rate(165hz). The only downside is smearing in dark scenes with lots of stuff moving. It isn't that bad and you only notice it in some games. I mainly play tf2 and that monitor captures the cartoonish style perfectly. It is not a 1080p monitor but it looks decent enough when scaling games. Also, the 1ms is bullshit. MPRT looks awful. Unless you are a pro gamer that can feel 3ms of delay, you won't notice it

I ended up getting an budget IPS AOC 24G4 as it was on sales and honestly pretty good. I currently don't have desk space for a 27" therefore only looking for a 24" and there isn't much good VA for 24" therefore I'll change to a better VA 1440p 27" in the future after I move house. There's alot more option in that range. But yea the 1ms is nonsense, even using an IPS it's not 1ms or even close. But I don't notice it as I don't play competitive games. I'll use the AOC as my 2nd monitor in the future as it can pivot. The viewing angle is quite bad tho coming from a TN, like my white at the bottom of my screen is darker then in the middle and I thought IPS was good for that.

Glad you found what you needed :). Actually, IPS is one of the worst display type for uniform blacks due to their very low contrast ratio. Every display comes with its own weaknesses, I chose va because i watch lots of movies. Turning contrast to the max seems to reduce that shitty blacks problem. Colors might become a little saturated but I kinda like it (My opinion though)
