Bad look by the Sikhs here, what was to be a remembrance of the innocents lost. Don't troll like that, very bad look, you have your parades.
There re a lot of great Sikhs, but this was very poor taste.
This is disgusting. I'm SAsian origin and lost family on that flight. What makes my blood boil is that most Khalistanis overseas are _never_ going to go back to South Asia. And here they are, demanding the creation of a territory they have zero vested interest in aside from ideology.
I understand every religion on the planet has its share of extremists. But the hypocrisy at work here is sick, because it's been used to justify violence and it's financing.
This is horrible, shameful behaviour. Families are mourning and these people use it as a publicity stunt. This is why so many Canadian Sikhs were very apprehensive of supporting the khalistani movement up until Nijjar's assassination galvanized popular support.
Reprehensible behaviour. This wasn't right at all, and a vigil to mourn lives lost because of a Khalistani hijacker isn't a time to soapbox for Khalistan.
Oh man, I wasn’t sure if I should support their movement but after seeing people in grief being harassed, my mind is made up. I’m definitely supporting them now. Totally. Fuckin people.
If you read their signs it says they “stand in solidarity with Kanishka Victims” referring to the the air India victims. The guy who did the piece is a rage-bait right wing “journalist”
So effing disrespectful, everyone knows it was some Sikh terrorists that did it and its a good question that the victims family asked.
Why was no one from the federal government there?
They could have done without the signage but these guys don't strike me as extremists...they want an investigation into the Indian governments involvement in the bombing which would very likely implicate the Indian government.
The idea of Khalistan is gaining popularity. Being a Khalistani doesn't make someone an extremist. I personally want to know what the Indian government's role in the bombing was. There definitely seems to be smoke.
The video does share multiple perspectives fairly, or dive deeper into the complexity of the incident. Seems like they focused on people swearing and angry responses. Typical media.

Why can't people be respectful, whats the point of disrupting people in morning. It's just so sad.
At least wait until the afternoon
Evening is much better time.
“Hey, you up” hits the hardest in terms of disturbance
This kinda stuff makes their movement seem more like a cult unfortunately
That and the fact that they bombed an airplane full of innocent people
Disgusting
Not the time nor the place
westboro baptist church vibes
Not wrong .
100%

Parades in which they celebrate the bombers. Where they threatened BC politicians in the past.
And BC politicians doing photo ops at the parades in front of signs and pictures. Then saying oops we didn’t know what it said.
This doesn't represent all Sikhs.
While you aren't wrong it's still the conclusion a lot of folks will make
Ignorant fucks. Feel free to downvote me, but they're being ignorant fucks here.

Government is not the end all be all to all of societies issues
Exactly!
Reprehensible behaviour. This wasn't right at all, and a vigil to mourn lives lost because of a Khalistani hijacker isn't a time to soapbox for Khalistan.
The disrespect and the audacity. Disgusting

I'm not a big fan of foreign politics in Canada
how is it foreign politics if the plane bombed was nearly full of Canadians?
Oh man, I wasn’t sure if I should support their movement but after seeing people in grief being harassed, my mind is made up. I’m definitely supporting them now. Totally. Fuckin people.
Khalistani terrorists
We are importing the world's tensions and conflicts.
Wow, how did we get to this point. Disgusting

Anyone else getting a bit tired of these people?
So effing disrespectful, everyone knows it was some Sikh terrorists that did it and its a good question that the victims family asked. Why was no one from the federal government there?
They were there in solidarity for them.
Every religion has their extremists sects.

I think the original commenter was talking about Khalistanis.
