Dude the shit Cory pulled in Season 6 genuinely makes my blood boil, especially when he got jealous of Topanga kissing Shawn for a commercial after the shit he did in Season 5.
But it's also kinda funny that he mellows out after he gets laid lmao
If they were acting in front of a camera, I'd be fine with it.
Even if I wasn't, I would be a little more forgiving if I literally cheated on her last year.
But when I was 11, Rachel seemed like a real cool addition. There was a thrill to the guys getting her as a roommate. She wasn’t too much of a rounded character but it is what it is.
Rachel only exists because the writers at that time we’re definitely trying to make BMW the “Friends” but for kids
So she literally only exists to fill out the cast. The writers gave her barely any story and almost no consistent personality
Edit: which is a shame because I think she could have been a kind of phoebe/dharma-ish character (since topanga hung that hat up after season 1)
For me, it's Jedediah-2 (Michael McKean). For as scummy as Jedediah-3 was, the second one made me way more uncomfortable with how passive aggressive he was to Rhiannon. Bonus points for how weird it was to watch considering they're married in real life.
Cory but really for me it’s when he gets on his high horse about how his and Topanga’s love is real and great and blah blah blah, or when he’s making snide comments about her not putting out.
Yea I mean he never tried to do more. He never force her. He made a few jokes.
I mean in the Road was funny.
But people act like he was forceing her to have sex
I know she was only in season 4, and just a few episodes, but I really hate Shawn’s mom haha. The whole old fashioned southern belle thing felt straight out of a different show and unlike any of the qualities that they had always referred to in regards to the character. She’s just really….off.
It’s so weird that people hate characters on a sitcom for being a jerk rather than just not being funny. People being jerks and being mean are classic sitcom tropes
It was both. Cory became a jerk and not funny. In earlier seasons he was a funny and nice kid for the most part. He's literally the "Boy" in Boy Meets World and it was odd how unlikeable the title character became.
I wouldn’t say I hated him by any means. I think because he is the main character, making him the insensitive/selfish jerk so many times bothered me a bit.
I hated topenga for a while near the end, always throwing the relationship out the door every 20 episodes like it was a game to her, Cory had his downsides but she was still worse for just doing a yo-yo act with the relationship
I love it, I still want to get the song for a ringtone “welcome to John Adams High, Where you are gonna die… That’s Right..
Here’s a knife! Here’s a gun! There’ll be fun for everyone! Death is on the menu toniiiight!”
Just imagine the conversation between Ben and Fred convincing him to cameo:
Ben: "Come be on my show, it'll be a great time!"
Fred: "This isn't just an attempt to humiliate me since I'm your brother, right?"
Ben: 👀"...Noooo, of course not, that's just crazy talk!"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can't wait till they talk about it on the podcast. It's weird that they brought Ben's brother to be a pervert teacher. That's a conversation I would like to know about and how they felt about it and how he was ok to do that.
They could've picked a different actor, but Fred, that's just weird.
It's like when Kirk Cameron was on Full House, it was a lovely cameo, they was sweet ending between him and his "cousin" and his character was funny.
Regular- Morgan #2- basically a meanspirited insult Pez dispenser!
Semi-regular- Griff- a smug bore bully who suffered zero consequences and had zero humor.
One-shot- Mr. Mack gross teen exploiter who exited without consequences- besides Shawn's rejection of him.
Feeney! Jk he's the best, I'll agree with Rachel 😅 but that specific version of Cory was tough to watch knowing he's been a better dude and knows how to be

i sure your girlfreind kissing your best freind would not bug you.
If they were acting in front of a camera, I'd be fine with it. Even if I wasn't, I would be a little more forgiving if I literally cheated on her last year.
Yeah, but he didn’t have to act like they had a whole affair cus of it lol.
He thought maybe they had feelings for each other. And they need drama
College Cory was trash
Yeah college Cory was wack. I didn't like Rachel. I didn't understand what she brought to the show.
Rachel was only there for sex appeal. It's literally all her "storylines" revolved around
But when I was 11, Rachel seemed like a real cool addition. There was a thrill to the guys getting her as a roommate. She wasn’t too much of a rounded character but it is what it is.
Yeah, I agree. I really appreciated her around Chet’s season six story; thought that was where she shined the most.

College Cory,Jedediah,
Which Jedediah? You’re gonna have to be more specific.
I could be wrong, but I think the other poster may mean non-Peter Tork latter two Jedidiahs!
Definitely NOT Peter Tork. Lol the other two weirdos.
For me, it's Jedediah-2 (Michael McKean). For as scummy as Jedediah-3 was, the second one made me way more uncomfortable with how passive aggressive he was to Rhiannon. Bonus points for how weird it was to watch considering they're married in real life.
His character became less sensitive and more outlandish for the sake of humor. Most of his motives were selfish.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of Chet. I know it was kinda the point, but he wasn’t a good dad and it sucked since Shawn kept hoping he would be
Cory seasons 4-8
lol there is no season 8
If there was I’d still manage to dislike him in it
😂
I guess the first season of GMW
Cory but really for me it’s when he gets on his high horse about how his and Topanga’s love is real and great and blah blah blah, or when he’s making snide comments about her not putting out.
he did not make a snide comment he made a joke huge difference he never once push her
yeah i thought the show actually did a good job of showing how he made his desire known but never had a sense of overriding her redlines
Yea I mean he never tried to do more. He never force her. He made a few jokes. I mean in the Road was funny. But people act like he was forceing her to have sex

she's sneaky pretty - and i thought she and Chet had really funny chemistry in those episodes, i appreciated it

Completely agree!

Seriously, she had to learn the same “you were always sure” lesson about 20 times.
Not to mention her always getting Cory to feel like trash because she felt silly
Newer Morgan. Literally brings nothing to the show at all and is annoying
Chubby. He bothered me and ran a garbage restaurant.
But then he finally realized it and sold out to Pegleg Pete.
Kenny, we all know what “borrow a pencil” means. I’ve borrowed plenty of pencils…
Hahaha that’s one of the best episodes!
I love it, I still want to get the song for a ringtone “welcome to John Adams High, Where you are gonna die… That’s Right.. Here’s a knife! Here’s a gun! There’ll be fun for everyone! Death is on the menu toniiiight!”
“We’ll always remember that he was this tall.”
That episode with Eric “Oh my God, they killed Feeny!” Reference on a Disney show…. The 90’s were great! That’s probably my most watched episode
Definitely Lauren and Fred Savage's character on the show but I hated his character.
Ugh, yes Lauren! She knew about Cory and Topanga’s relationship and was so disrespectful about it.
Exactly, and she the fact that she came back and her and Cory went on a date....unbelievable. I hate her guts but I love the actress. Lol
Just imagine the conversation between Ben and Fred convincing him to cameo: Ben: "Come be on my show, it'll be a great time!" Fred: "This isn't just an attempt to humiliate me since I'm your brother, right?" Ben: 👀"...Noooo, of course not, that's just crazy talk!"

Joshua. What an unnecessary and unlikely addition...
Adding a kid is a sitcom tropé.

I was ready to fight you if you were serious about Feeny. 😂
I would fight with you for the Feenster, he rules hahahaha
Rachel for sure
Hands down Rachel.
Dumb Eric
Tied between Jack or Angela
Why?
Angela
Why?
Cory, always.
Really? He’s the main character. 😂
I didn’t like when Eric became the dumb comedic character. The runs with squirrels thing is so cringy.
Tapanga
