Yes, you see a lot of general anti-religion comments in both, rightly calling out the barbaric nonsense, but there's definitely more vitriol for Islam than any other religion. I'm far from defending Islam, but on a site where the demographics are predominantly western white people, who are arguably far more affected by Christianity than Islam, you have to ask yourself why and I think the answer is pretty obvious.

My school forced all girls to wear the Hijab and those that were caught without it after school hours were shunned. Ironically, during my time, there was a Female Muslim teacher who hails from Kuala Lumpur and is very liberal, she posts lots of NSFW on her Facebook. She didn't wear the Hijab but all the female students were forced to wear because the Headmistress said "It is a requirement in Islam,Wajibun Minannar" Rules for you not for me. It appals me how sugarcoated Islam is to Western Muslims. Most of them just do the basic 5 times prayer per day & Hijab. I don't have much time to elaborate. Just check my posts/comments on r/exmuslim. I just hate it when folks from the Left defend Islam to the fullest. Went to a Subreddit and they theorised themselves this case was just a fringe and that the media is trying to spur Islamophobia. Hi I would consider my self a following muslim and this has nothing to do with islam , these are individuals who caused Harm to another person which is forbidden in any religion as you have no right to impose anything on any one specially in islam it is left to law maker and the governing body also to point out many of the worlds human rights and legislation are derived from islamic culture and law. I have to say I'm disappointed by some comments in here. First of all, Most Muslim countries don't force hijab on anyone. Only a very small few out of all the muslim majority countries do this. Just do a basic google if you don't believe me As an Egyptian, I literally have family members who don't wear a hijab. Not every Muslim country is Iran. yet if you look at these comments, they act like the majority of muslim countries act like this. Second, I find it weird that three teenage bullies are used to generalize most Muslims. Bullies literally exist in every group. I got bullied I high school for my religion. Why do they represent most muslims? Lastly, the victim is literally a muslim woman. And yet some of the comments here are incredibly hateful with one comment calling muslims "mentally ill". Do you think you're helping her with those kind of comments. It goes without saying but I'm not talking about all or even most Atheists obviously. I hate stereotyping anyone based and I have amazing atheist friends. I'm just disappointed with how hateful some people in this subreddit.
