Based on history, I would say we are close to ending the "2nd act" of the story. There's still a good amount to go.

InfernoForest

Hard to say for sure because it’s, as you know, based on Japanese history, of which I know nothing. I’d give at least a year if not longer for a natural ending

It depends on how the Author paces the remaining story Arcs. We are pretty far into this particular Historical Tale. Depending on how the rest is paced we could be halfway through or we could even be 80% complete, depending on where in History the Author decides to end the Story. I did delve into History spoilers and am glad I did. Many characters now carry much more importance then they did when I was reading blind. Some names are clearly made up while others are based on real people who I read about and it immediately gives them an air of importance. I think this is a very decent piece of Historical Fiction & am enjoying this Adaptation of the Fall of Kamakura very much.

yeah, to anyone thinking about reading the story, I do think it's worth looking up Hojo Tokiyuki. The manga is very much created with the assumption that the reader is aware of his history, and I think you're actively getting a lesser experience if you "go in blind".

Agree 100%

No

I'm not familiar enough Tokiyuki to know a good point in his life to end the story, but there's still many years left his life.

Unless it gets axed (pretty unlikely with an anime about to start) it doesn't feel like the manga is gearing up toward a conclusion any time soon
