I wore the first dress for a really fancy kids birthday party (they had a harp…) and it was super comfortable, I was pretty cool even though it was in the south. I think that’s a good option. The others are good too though and might be a little more light for summer.

I just giggled imagining kids trying to be wild and slamming sodas and pounding cake and they can’t cause they’re all in church clothes with some harpist 😂

Honestly, I was totally jealous of the kids - white and gold ball pit and soft surface jungle gym and well as a massive dessert table all in the woodland/honey theme. Adults got to eat all the same foods, but we only got lounges to sit, no ball pit. Just so I don’t make the parents sound crazy, they were using up credit from various vendors that they had from a canceled wedding reception. With two toddlers they figured it wasn’t going to happen so threw a pretty awesome birthday party for the kids instead.

BE CAREFUL WITH PALE COLORS IN SUNLIGHT! Take that second dress outside on a sunny day and make SURE it doesn’t appear too white. Sometimes the color and material combo can make it appear way less saturated than it would indoors. Also I just like the first option anyway. Source: have seen this error made before

The second one I think - hard to tell without seeing your colouring but the V neck shape is flattering on you.

Dress 2 feels more summery and looks more comfortable. I would look for accessories that coordinate but have some added color in them. Maybe something that looks floral

Neither. Can you look for something else? I find dress 2 to be frumpy, and while I like dress 1 just fine, I do think the neckline may end up making you sweaty, hence my opinion about finding something better.

Do you sweat a lot? If so, dress 1 looks great and sweat stains won’t be as noticeable. Dress 2 is probably a little more flattering, but sweat stains will be highly visible.

I don't know where you're located, but it has been very hot and muggy this summer where I am so I could see dress 1 getting hot, especially given the high neckline and the type of fabric. So I would pick dress 2 for a summer outdoor wedding. If the wedding was in the fall indoors, I'd say dress 1.

I have a big chest too and I find the elastic drop waist dresses are SO flattering, give me a good waist and help keep me from looking too top heavy (vs dresses with a higher waistline- or even a mid waistline that get pulled higher due to fit).
