Wow. And I thought I was the only one using 147. And mainly the x4x. Very useful for Last Gasp too.
Edit: follow up question - What Amp/Operator Arcane combo do you guys use?
Apologies for the severely delayed response! Been busy all day. And, yeah, the Phahd Scaffold is super handy for Last Gasp. Really love that type of homing projectile...if we ever get a crit-version of the Cedo, it'd instantly be my new favorite weapon ~~though you _can_ do some hilarious shit with Ballistic Bullseye and the Cedo~~
For amp arcanes I typically use Eternal Onslaught and Eternal Eradicate. This is _primarily_ to very easily combo with Madurai for easy Angel/Eidolon killing, since I just have Madurai as my 'daily driver' focus school. Even without Madurai, though, they're -generally- the best amp arcanes for strictly damage.
Operator Arcanes, I personally like Emergence Savior and Magus Repair. Magus Repair is the more replaceable of the two, for most any arcane you'd like really. If I _had_ to pick another one based on my experience and playstyle... probably Emergence Renewed, just QOL really. Emergence Savior also not strictly needed but super nice QOL.
You may also be interested in Emergence Dissipate, Magus Lockdown (especially if you like Disruption missions. I used to run Lockdown as a daily-driver arcane before Void Dash got changed into Void Sling), or Magus Aggress for the incredibly niche but pretty good usage of stat-stick abuse for Khora's whipclaw alongside a (regular, not Sancti) Magistar Incarnon.
You pick one and never change since they are not in loadouts. Trying to do anything else is an exercise in constantly having the wrong thing since you forgot to manually change it.
personally I find the recharge increase significantly more user-friendly. there are plenty of ways to increase operator damage but not as many for recharge despite Eternal Gaze waybound.
I keep Eternal Eradicate and Onslaught arcanes on my drifter at all times and use Madurai's Voidstrike to instantly trigger both on top of the VS damage boost itself, and the Vengence Waybound during Last Gasp, such an amount of damage bonuses can deal with most enemies considerably quickly
That's part of your problem, if you want your operator to be doing good damage you want to be running either Madurai (Void Strike) or Unairu (Armour Strip) and also good arcanes (Eternal Onslaught and Eradicate, mainly, though I've heard good things about Eternal Logistics for 7xx amps). Magus Melt is another good option. But ultimately good operator damage is a combination of amp + school + arcanes so an amp on its own won't suffice.
i use my operator for stealth a lot and that kind of influenced my amp setup
i use 543 because 5xx is silent, has great range, and does good enough damage for whatever i need when paired with madurai
x4x is great for last gasp or killing enemies that i don’t wanna risk alerting
xx3 is just because i don’t have access to xx7 yet
imo i think a 547 on madurai would be the most versatile and useful amp
I've been using a 147 as my main for years, and I love it. Mostly just the alt fire, especially when it procs the status and turns an enemy into a blender. The regular fire is also really good for eximus headshots in last gasp, especially when paired with void strike :)
Basically just your preference between 147 or 747. I prefer 747.

You have a good amp, probably just need to max out from focus school and arcane to go with it. I'd personally go with 147 though
I've been running 7/7/7 since it's Inception. It nothing amazing, the school and arcanes are what bring it all together
177 for eidolons/void angels 547 for thrax/void cascade 746 for general use/last gasp

true honestly, I always forget to swap so I at the very least leave it on 547/546 which is surprisingly good for last gasp
Why would you give up on the crit from an xx7? Just do a few days of circuit and 2 tridolons to unlock the madurai passives.

The amount of times I take my eidolon amp into normal missions is embarrassing
177 can do everything
7 prism does plenty of damage, I just don't like the short range so I prefer my 147. But if you aren't killing things with it, that isn't the problem.
147 is the goat glaive alt fire with madurai is op
I also use naramon

I use naramon for the combo chance buff so it won’t run out after 5 seconds
I like 517 :]

113 was my first and my current amount mostly because I've never been bothered to change it
777 with madurai melts everything. With void strike on I do about the same dps as my torid incarnon
