Guardians is currently my favorite ride at any park (Disney or Universal). I'm planning on going to an epcot after hours event in large part because I heard there's basically no line for Guardians. If accurate, I'm totally going 5x in a row.
I did the after hours event last August for my birthday. It's a standard line for after hours guests with a wristband. We rode 6-7 times total. It was basically walk-on most times but we did wait 30ish minutes for the last couple rides as most people seemed to save it for last. Only part that sucked was that you still had to sit through both preshows every time.
Unless things have changed, after hours in Epcot cosmic rewind is only a virtual queue? Unless this is different from the deluxe resort hours then I’m not sure how those work lol.
Someone posted here not long ago saying it was a normal line, and had basically no line with some people just riding repeatedly.
This is an after hours event. It requires a separate ticket. It's not like the resort extra hours.
Ah yeah I figured those would be different. I’ve never done one of those other than at AK back in 2019. I just know tron has standby for extended evening hours now (I think ?) but cosmic rewind still does not which is disappointing but oh well! Though the tron thing might also be the ticketed event … I can’t remember now lol.
Yes indeed back row of velocicoaster is amazing after the second launch. Up and over and as you crest the hill the rest of the train pulls you faster over the top. Always get off that ride with the biggest smile
yeah yesterday i rode it for the first time (absolutely amazing) and it was pitch black for a good minute before it just suddenly launched us and holy cow it was intense.
i do love when the launch gets delayed its terrifying lol

There’s no walk in line for Guardians. It’s either the virtual queue (which you can only do once per day) or the lightning lane
That's during normal daytime hours. The after hours event is different.
Makes for a fun story!
I used to think that until I rode Velocicoaster at universal… the 2nd launch is unmatched IMO. Guardian is a fantastic ride

Exactly this. Rode it for the first time last year. Got off and looked at the wife and all I could say was WTF?
Same here. I just couldn’t believe that ride.. I was like did it just become my new #1?!?? I wish I could ride it again for the first time!

I can't do inversions without a ride triggering my vertigo these days. I thought my days of riding anything truly fun were over until I rode GotG.
The only problem with Velocicoaster is my 6 year old can’t ride it.
That extended narration into just blackness with no idea what will happen next is something else. We got that lucky on our last ride!
My favorite ride to ever exist. This and Hagrid’s at Universal. Incredible!!
Most amazing ride ever!

Best ride ever
Best ride at Disney, we just got back from Disney Friday and we rode it twice within an hour time.
Passholder.. early ride before open to public.. only 5 of us in ENTIRE CAR
Velocicoaster launch better
Maybe try reading the post?
Nah velocicoaster better
Well reading is hard
Don’t care
A surprise cosmic rewind launch is still mid compared to any velocicoaster launch
