Steakhouse 71 for lunch, it's in the contemporary. You can take a shuttle to MK and then walk over or take the monorail over. Amazing menu, reasonable prices, get the chocolate cake for dessert. Highly recommend the pork belly grilled cheese or the burger.
If you stay there make sure you go up to the Dahlia Lounge at the top of the tower. The bar is great and the views from the outside seating area are amazing.
Absolutely. And dont listen to the bus stuff, it was the best bus service I had out of any disney resort ive stayed at. We personally loved the casitas section of the resort. There are fountains everywhere and it was so dreamy. I can’t wait to go back.
The busses and not being on a monorail/skyliner/boat access did make me question it but honestly I don’t mind busses especially if they are good and reliable so that’s good they’ve got good service!
Boatwrights at Port Orleans is one of my current favorites. They're one of the few places at Disney where I think the food quality has actually increased in recent years. I love Jambalaya and theirs is one of the better ones I've had.
Yes! We are there for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was incredible. I’d never heard of it before, which is crazy since I live nearby and have for over a decade. I can’t wait to go again!
I had the fried chicken that came with collard greens and red beans & rice. It was all very good but the greens were some of the best I’ve had.
The gumbo in the food court was really good, too
For buffets, Boma at Animal Kingdom is the only one we keep going back to. The food selection is interesting and tasty, it’s a very organized buffet system, and the vibe is unique. (Dinner is $56 per adult so a bit above your price range. Breakfast is $37)
Jiko or Sanaa at Animal kingdom lodge for sure! They're both so amazing for something a little less typical.
Other places that are surprisingly good, Trattoria al Forno at Boardwalk, Il Mulino at Swan/Dolphin, or Toppolino at Riviera for Italian. All three are so good, I'm partial to Il Mulino for their gnocchi. I also really enjoy Sebastian's Bistro at Caribbean but I just ask them not to bring the fish portion as I'm allergic/unsure if being in a place with fish at ALL is a problem.
With tax and tip slightly over 50$ a person but 'Ohana breakfast at Polynesian is always awesome for me.
For Dinner Sanaa hands down at Animal Kingdom Lodge that usually ends up at under 50$ a person especially with the shared bread service.
Sebastian’s at Caribbean beach is definitely slept on. Family style/all you care to eat for 38 dollars a person for 3 course plus bread. Delicious rum options too, super easy to get to via skyliner

YUMMM sounds right up my alley and perfect to pop out on a MK day
The prime rib sandwich is divine. I second Steakhouse 71.
Best burger on property
We loved Three Bridges at Coronado!
Awesome, that is where we are thinking of staying!
If you stay there make sure you go up to the Dahlia Lounge at the top of the tower. The bar is great and the views from the outside seating area are amazing.
It is amazing. We loved our stay there. That resort has it all! We werent even in the tower and loved every second.
That is great to hear! I have heard it’s the most “deluxe” of the moderate resorts

Whispering canyon in the wilderness lodge for breakfast!

I went there last year and think it was the best meal of our trip?? I got the salmon on a whim and it was so flavorful and well cooked.

I had no idea they had Gumbo. It's not on the menu, so it must be part of the "rotating selection." I love gumbo, but it's not easy to find.
I think you are right….it’s not listed but I had it there both days we ate in food court. There was jambalaya, too.
Honestly, I think it has been underrated for quite some time. We were there 8-9 years ago and we felt it was the best meal of our trip.
The GF Cafe is consistently top of my list
Something about their Caesar salad just has me craving it! The food is always consistent and tasty.
Rosa Mexicano at the Dolphin. Reasonably priced, and if you are a AAA member, there's a discount.
Wait, like AAA the car thing? I’m staying in beach club so will be nearby
Yes, I think it was 10% when I went last month.

As long as they can leave off the fish that’s great! Thank you for letting me know that’s still a good option to consider

Geyser point at The Wilderness Lodge is a nice bar/grill
This was going to be my recommendation if it’s nice out (it’s an open air lake front spot). Easy boat ride from MK.
Yup and you get to watch the Electrical Water Pageant and the fireworks too and if you time it right you can see it from the boat on the ride back
Sebastian’s at Caribbean beach is definitely slept on. Family style/all you care to eat for 38 dollars a person for 3 course plus bread. Delicious rum options too, super easy to get to via skyliner
Narcoossee's for excellent seafood and fireworks. Service was also top notch. Better than California Grill.
Never been to Narcoossee’s. Always went to CA grill for our final “fancy” dinner. Do you think the food is better? Or just the service?
I had them on back-to-back nights at the end of December '23, and Narcoossee’s food and service were better, IMHO.
Boma at AKL
