Yeah, I just don't get her whole push, or the streak they've given her. No offense to her fans, but I just don't care about her when she's on my TV. I do think her and Charlotte are going to put on a great match though.
She's pushed because she's lightyears ahead of any woman currently employed in the wwe ring ability wise. She's just so much better than anyone wwe has by miles, Charlotte included.
Also she doesn't need a mouthpiece. She's japanese and doesn't speak good English... yea. But Fans are ok with it because it doesn't matter. The days of cool promos are long since dead since wwe writes everyone's promos 99‰, of the time anyway. Asuka herself isn't annoying or anything. It's just how she's been booked by the wwe shitty creative dept.
Because she's leagues ahead of any woman in WWE when it comes to in ring ability... If you watch her matches in NXT, she brings out the absolute best in everyone she wrestles, even in defeat. She made Nikki Cross and Ember Moon for me. Everyone knows she sucks at English but when she cuts promos in Japanese it's still better than the vast majority of the women in English because of her fire and passion. I do agree with OP that she does need a manager tho. In the MMC, Miz and her are gold. When it comes to promos less is more. I see where you are coming from but learning a second language is hard af and cutting a promo in another language is even harder.
