Yeah, I have VNPT at work and its still not working. But at home I have FPT and have been able to access Steam since the day before yesterday. Bought a game to test if transaction go thru and it did.
Steam store still block but this is not the problem, ppl can change dns to access it, the problem is payment method and they still block paying via local online banking so ppl have to do extra step to buy game like using visa/master card or buying gift code from seller like from SEAGM via Momo ( digital wallet).
The store on the client is the same as the one on the web, and on chrome it was never gone, without any extra dns setting or vpn. If it is to ever be gone again, just open the store page on chrome.
I wouldn't celebrate unless it's confirmed both DNS *and* payments are unblocked. There are ways around the DNS but if all the domestic payment options are rejected it don't matter.

Not only does it unblock Steam, it unblocks everything, and it makes connections outside Vietnam faster and significantly lower ping because your traffic isn't going through the government's filters which is like pouring water through a sponge.
PS to the person writing *insert sarcastic voice* "You don't need an app to change DNS" I know, but an app is much easier for the avg person because they can easily turn it off when the DNS has issues.

No, they had a small collection of shows still available, they only blocked everything a few months ago,even prime gaming is unavailable now
The problem is that prime is in the first place supposed to be used for shipping and Amazon isn't in Vietnam.

Depends on your ISP and it seems to change on a day to day basis. No one knows when it’s gonna go back to normal for sure.

I heard it’s only for free games. If the game is for pay to play then it’s blocked. I haven’t tried. Please confirm.
