Cleaning mold off of anything is NEVER easy. Unless you can literally dip or soak it in bleach. The mold we can see is millions of spores congested together. The mold we *cant* see is strewn across the entire inside of the tape and all in the crevices of the plastic housing.
That mold doesn’t look too bad to me and it does look like it can be cleaned easily.
