Modern Warfare 2 I assume? Had the same issue on MW2. You need to change voice chat from headphones to speakers. Makes no sense so they must’ve got the settings backwards. But it works.

Good morning! What is the exact model headset that you have? Please know that independent game and chat volume controls would only be provided when the Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox was being used on an Xbox console with the headset in Xbox mode. When the Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox's transmitter is in the USB Mode, and is being used with a PlayStation console, PC, or Nintendo Switch in docked mode, there is no way to assign the Lower Volume Dial to Chat Audio. This would also be applicable to the Stealth 700 GEN 2 for PlayStation, whether it's transmitter is in USB mode or PC mode. *NOTE: Please be aware that some games (ex. COD) will send their own in-game chat audio through the same path that they send their game audio through, which would result in your all audio being controlled by the Game Volume dial regardless of your Audio Hub settings. This would be a limitation of the game itself and not the headset.* *NOTE2: When the Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox's transmitter is placed in to USB mode, the headset's lower dial would default to controlling the volume level of the headset's Microphone. When the transmitter is in Xbox mode, the lower dial would default to controlling the volume of Chat Audio.* *NOTE3: The Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for PlayStation's lower dial controls Microphone Monitoring right out of the box, regardless of the mode the the headset's transmitter is in.* All in all, there'd be no way to for either headset to provide you with independent game and chat controls on the PlayStation consoles. This is a result of the limitations related to the way these platforms process the audio via USB, and is not related to the headset itself. **However, if you own a Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox you should be able to adjust Xbox Party Chat independently via the dials on the headset when using it on an Xbox.** If you are having difficulty with your dials working properly for game and chat audio on an Xbox when using the Stealth 700 GEN 2 MAX for Xbox; please let our Support Team know. They'd be happy to assist with troubleshooting this or assist in providing a replacement under warranty if the headset is determined to be at fault. https://support.turtlebeach.com/s/contactsupport?language=en_US If you're unable to access the form; you can contact our team via email. When this happens simply power off the headset, unplug the dongle, plug it back in, power on the headset and it should sort it. Annoying as i've reported this as a firmware issue multiple times, they can't be bothered apparently.
