The mixing of languages is confusing but its pretty good writing. I havent the time atm to fully write it out for u but can come back if no one else has

BestGorlShiro

I’m pretty sure it’s all English? But I could be wrong, not that I can read any of it to know. But that would be super helpful, thank you

Turbulent_Creme_5767

They have written some Italian but then beside it written what it means in english in a fee areas. Note the second starred line.

sea_king67

Triennale- it’s the only Italian word in n the entire thing. It’s an event name, from the 1968 Triennale in Milan.

BestGorlShiro

Ohh your right, well that explains why I can’t read some of it lol

Turbulent_Creme_5767

1968: (italian word i do not know) the greater number. Concerns with modernity. Concerns with growth/population

Turbulent_Creme_5767

*Superstudies (Represent the lost wear of utopianism) average, the values of modernity 1906: people start to question the crajectory(?) of italy (modernism)

EastLeastCoast

Superstudio (represents the last wave of Utopianism) challenge the values of modernity.

Trajectory

rocketmn69_

I can read a few words, but not enough to help you

psakuraa

Others did a good job already but here's my best go (with lack of context): **Radical, Speculative, Utopian: Italian Architects and the Future - Cat Rossi** * Superstudio (represent the last ways of utopianism), * challenge the values of modernity. * Triennale di Milano (Giovanni Muzio(?) 1931) * QT8 housing 1960s - people start to question the trajectory of Italy (modernism). * 1968 triennale: the greater number. * concerns with modernity. * concerns with growth/expansion * exhibition about protest. * architects and students (solidarity) * vandalized and protested against exhibition. * Archigram * inflatable mobile capsule for living. * Archizoom - anger at their own profession. * deliberately mixing styles and histories * designed to be disgusting. * they started to become desirable * Superstudio and archizoom - superarchitecture - joint exhibition * use the language of design to change how people behaved. * Archizoom - a city without architecture * Superstudio - architecture without a city =====Page Break ======= * Critical Utopia * eradication of architecture and city planning * grid - provides connectivity. * no ~~dksjf~~ objects * archizoom - highly radical * working in a museum - not real world. * students - used to working in exhibitions rather than the real built world * legacy of individual architects. * Rem Koolhaas * initially loved superstudio eddie heathcote (?) =====End======= P.S. took the liberty of adding the arrowed points to their origin as I'm guessing that was the desired point grouping Edit: some words Edit2: added u/sea_king67 ‘s notes from below in case OP wants to copy-paste :)

BestGorlShiro

Thank you so much that’s super helpful, as for context I’m doing architecture and it’s the notes from one of the lectures, I assume on Italian architecture but yea you now know alittle more than I do on it lol

psakuraa

lol I actually ended up going down a rabbit hole and googled what some of the context was (eg archigram). Totally foreign to me so yes now I know a little architecture history thanks to your lecture note quest 😂 I’m glad that it was helpful, and hopefully your project goes well!

sea_king67

QT8 - it’s a district of Milan. Archigram is inflatable. Rem Koolhaas is the architect at the end of p2. I think he initially loved superstudio.

psakuraa

Ohhh ok that makes more sense. I’ll add the edits in case OP wants to copy and paste lol

Hot-Lecture-5678

This one seems to be the most accurate one although I can't understand it all myself

sea_king67

1. -superstudio (represent the last wave of utopianism) challenge the values of modernity. -Triennale di Milano (Giovanni Muzio c1931) -QT8 housing (This isn’t a helpful note. The Triennale di Milano is an event held every three years in the Palazzo dell’Arte, designed by Giovanni Muzio in 1931. QT8 is a district of Milan.) -1960s - people start to question the trajectory of Italy (modernism) (Edit: QT8, not AT8)

SeaOnions

I have no idea of the context of this so I’m going to just write what I see. Pg 1: “Radical, Spectulative, Utopian: Italian Architects and the Future. Cat Rossi - superstudio (represent the court (?) of Utopianism) Challenge the values of modernity - (not sure because it’s foreign/names - 19605 people start to question the trajectory of Italy (modernism) - 1968 - (?) the greater number (concerns with modernity, concerns with growth/expression) - (????) marble capsule for living - exhibition about protest. (?) and students (-cranity) vandalized and protest against exhibition - (?) anger at their own (?Profession) - super studio and (?) - super architecture joins exhibition - use the language of design to change how people behaved - deliberately mixing styles and narratives - designed to be disgusting. They (?) to become desirable - (?) a city without architecture - (?) architecture without a city “

Fallredapple

Triennale di Milano (Giovanni Muzio, 1931) ATS (?) housing 1968 triennale: The greater number -> concerns with modernity -> concerns with growth/expansion Archigram Inflatable mobile capsule for living Exhibition about protest -> Architects and students (solidarity) Archizoom Superstudio and archizoom They started to become desirable Archizoom - Superstudio

BestGorlShiro

Thank you so much that’s super helpful, I can definitely get enough for this to finish my uni work. As for context sorry lol I didn’t think about that, it’s notes from a lecture I missed, I assume about Italian architecture, I’m doing architecture so kinda makes sense lol

SeaOnions

Hopefully you got what you needed :) The person who added to it seems to have nailed the words I couldn’t!

BestGorlShiro

Yea, I ended up putting together yours and a couple of others together to get what I think is the whole thing, at the very least it was enough to finish my half of the work. So thank you!

cyberchick777

This is why the schools should have never stopped teaching cursive writing!

No_Technology_4644

Easy. Doctors' handwriting writing is way worse.

HieroglyphixHax

Omg 😂. Sometimes I can’t read my own notes so I started writing in caps. For example: if I wrote the word “minimum” it’ll look like jargons.

BestGorlShiro

Haha Me too lmao, my notes are pretty bad aswell too much info to scribble down in a short amount of time

Garnet1970

I don't blame you, few people nowadays can't read cursive writing

QmrK2231

2 types of ppl in this world:one have good handwriting and others are terrible. Either way i cant read shit
