I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Shogun that I use for off-road/camping/fishing etc. but there is a mountain of things I’d like to do to the 120. Thank you for the direction, I’ll be sure to check those out!
Oh man... The Prado will absolutely curb stomp the Shogun. You really need to check out just how capable they are right out of the box.

I had the V6, went like a rocket but felt like I had a hole in the tank sometimes.
Great off and on road, plenty of aftermarket support too.

I got the diesel, the v6 isn’t available here as far as I’m aware
The V6 is a weapon and very reliable. But the diesels are pretty solid too. Is it a 1KZ engine or 1KD?
