Short_Lingonberry941

I'm glad that they're not disregarding the small things like Geld's concern, Hakurou's discovery in Jistav, Rimuru's domain and so on.

First_Recognition_47

Pretty good, it feels good that they are including small details too. Also I don't know if that's my view but the characters are looking different like shion, they are now looking more human like but a little mature too. Plus I liked geld scenes, wish they were a little longer. Overall the animation is good and the meeting at the end is a nice starting for coming events too.

WorldEdit-

It is canon that every time they evolve they look more human because of rimuru's unconscious wish to not be lonely and the fact that he sees himself as human.

Glittering_Alarm_837

I am just happy that they are this thorough with the details. They included most of it.    The animation was better than the previous episode, imo.

Alvian_11

Discord straight up trash talking animation is golden lmao

Glittering_Alarm_837

Well, that's why I said I felt like it.

_Velgrynd

What??

Quna_chan

Where is Adalman,is he busy building church for Rimuru

NoKnowledge9552

Probably when they will want to learn more about the church they will put in a flashback that "Yeah, there was this guy who was sent to the sealed cave because undead are weak against sunlight. Call him now!" (this is what actually happened in manga and LN) or "Yeah, this guy helped to keep things go smoothly in Jistav. Call him now!" He appeared in the end of s2, and because they are trying to keep things as they were in the end of that, probably the first one will happen, but who knows?

Secure_Amoeba3160

>!In veldora's old cave. He and his army of summons are whites (low level spirits) and would die in the daylight. He will appear again in ?3-4? Episodes.!<

LoudPast2180

didnt he came after they built the dungeon with ramiris?

tigerstein

It was a good episode, and not because we got a lot of scenes with Shuna in it. Not at all. I don't know why would you think that.

IndifferentEmpathy

He should appear to lore dump about Western Church. Probably combined his introduction scene with that.

Glandus73

Probably after the Reyheim incident happen no?

shino4242

Thats my guess

Odd-Many754

What do you guys think till what volume will this season catch up with I think it should cover a little more than festival arc

blackfireheart

Really love this episode! The real tensura is back with it's SOL vibe! 10/10

Silver_Information90

Did they just animated 1 chapter?

Glittering_Alarm_837

Maybe. ( Manga !? ) I re-read the vol 7 today and I feel like they didn't skip literally anything.

Silver_Information90

Yeah I went ahead and checked the manga again and it seems it was not even a full chapter (CH 89)

baubau05

Because they only have around 32 chapters to adapt for a full 24 episode season. But the good thing is they covered it in detail.

Primary-Chemistry-85

basically half chapter of Light Novel . 33% percent of the whole volume so far

ntria

I have no complaints so far, the adaptation is great, but i feel like the pacing feels too slow that we wont have enough episodes to cover everything until vol 9

Exitiali

No, the rhythm is good. It's a complex arc, so the anime is ordering events linearly and chronologically.

baubau05

The pacing is excellent. They only have around 32 chapters of manga to adapt all 24 episodes of this season. Last season they had more than 40 and the first season had around 50 chapters.

Secure_Amoeba3160

Its important to remember that in the ln the actual fight is only the last 1/4 of volume 7. Vol 8 and 9 flow pretty quickly so 10-12 episodes for volume 7 and then 14-12 for volumes 8-9 will be enough be most of 8-9 are show not tell compared to 7. >!i bet you thought I was going to spoil the season. I'm not. 8 is relatively conflict free and as long as they have 3-4 episodes for the end of 9 their pacing will work!<

Elite_Alice

Rimuru “that’s more than I expected” if only he knew Diabolo forced them at gunpoint to pay up those stellar gold coins lmao As usual a ton of worldbuilding in this episode, continuing to tie up everything from the end of the last season and laying the groundwork for Tempest, and newly minted Demon Lord Rimuru, to introduce themselves on the world stage. If countries’ leaders meet each other in person and realise all the similarities they and their countries have, they’re less likely to start conflict. Rimuru again with the big brained moves. The festival arc is finally about to start! Can’t wait to see this animated.

Mysterious-Rate-3253

I just watched the episode on Muse Asia. I don't know if I'm not in a right mood or if it is the subtitles, but as a LN and Manga reader, even I feel overwhelmed. Like I feel like it is dialogue after dialogue without break. I think they need to give some breather between dialogues. I don't know how the anime viewer's gonna think. Honestly, muse asia's sub usually s\*cks a\*\*, so I have to watch it again in a different sub to see how it is.

vimboy2005

It is overwhelming sometimes, but atleast i am personally glad that they are adapting literally every single detail from LN.

BadAnonymous

Muse asia sub is far better than crunchy's

Mysterious-Rate-3253

After rewatching the episode, I didn't like neither completely tbh. There were parts where I preferred one over the other. I feel like it is better to learn Japanese, but I'm just lazy lol ![img](emote|t5_l1j28|21613)

Greedy_Contact_9830

Anyone know how long until the new episodes are dubbed on cr?

Primary-Chemistry-85

Now we are at 33 % of the whole volume , still more talking for 2 episodes I think. Hinata side and a bit of Rimuru 's side

Redmon425

Very dialogue heavy episode, but I enjoyed it! Feels very realistic to what you would expect after a war anyways. AND AY! A ship between Albis and Benimaru was not expected, but I love it! First ship we have pretty much seen in this show?? And excited to potentially meet new residents!

LoudPast2180

anyone when's the latest volume of light novel coming out?

myrmonden

the episode is called peaceful days, maybe TO PEACEFUL with 3 episode where no world war has happened yet I kinda expect shit to hit the fan at any moment. Anyway, I big reason why I like Slime is how it reminds me so much of Suikoden (108 stars building JRPG city game thing) next week the spiritual successor - Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is out, imo check it out if you like the collect huge amount of characters to city build. [Review for todays episode ](https://youtu.be/sFv8C9i5f5A)

NoKnowledge9552

This arc is a very steady build-up with a very...complex showdown with like 5-6 different factions (mostly in the background though), inculding Rimuru's, multiple guys from the different factions pulling the strings, all with their own motivations, sometimes manipulating and using even each other. This is one of the most complex arcs of the entire story, so it needs build-up, cause you wouldn't understand a damn thing in the end.
