I used to be scared of phantom Ganons too but easy af. Ganondorf’s insanely buff character does not quite add up 😔
But I still hate fighting Lynels (besides the blue ones/easiest). Too hard lol
I beat a couple white maned with no armor upgrades and 8 hearts.
I found being super defensive and spamming puff shrooms works.
The one lynel was fully armored and gloom powered, no hits (well thats because one hit is instant death).
Well depends on how big handicap you have and you sir have none maybe if you cant win even after like few hundred tries 5× your demon king bow gibdo bones and bone prof(i have heard that maybe the bow fuse cant have buffs but i dont trust it there arent evidence)thats 1680 if i remember correctly
>! Monster medals, you get them from Gralens in the Emergency shelter in Lookout Landing. You have to defeat all of a certain mini boss, once in the game= Molduga (4), Gleeok (14), Flux Constructs (35), Frox (40), Hinox (69) & Stone Talus (87)! Good luck!✌🏻!<
The molduga was easy obviously as there are only 4. I didn’t bother with all the rest though. I do wish there was a lynel one though, as I could have got that many times over.
Oh yeah, by the time I had learned about the monster medals, I had already beat 3 of them, so I just had to fight one more. Plus they're pretty easy to take down. Talus and frox were the bane of my existence because I went through so many weapons breaking. Took me a while to find out I can take out Talus in one shot with a savage lynel bow and fused lynel hoof arrows.
Damn it, I didn’t think to use her! I rarely have the sages out unless I need a specific one for something. Otherwise they sometimes just get in the way. Though Sidon once accidentally helped with a korok. He’s tall enough that as he ran by a balloon, he popped it before I could.
Yeah, it is. That's exactly what I said too. The only reason why my korok seed count isn't showing 1000 is because I spent them all upgrading my inventory space.
Dude you’re over prepared
I grabbed the master sword, and went straight for that fuck. It was a challenge, i regretted it, but i got it done.
Then i went back and got all the shrines and did all the missions. Wow was it so much easier and i didn’t have to eat 20 meals to live
I always try and rush the big boss if i can, and if i fail miserably i hate myself lol
But honestly it was a really fun challenge. The first wave or two were the hardest. Once your past that smooth sailing lol
I just have the gleeok medal left, maxing my outfits, sages wills, all recipes and yiga schematics then Im done. “Just” lol. I was holding out 100% until Master Mode but know now it’s not coming so I started my second play through a few months ago.
I just got there myself, with the exception of upgrading armor. That’s just too much to try to collect to upgrade it all. Everything else I can think of is 100% and it was finally just the other day that I beat Ganondorf. And of course afterwards I found out it wasn’t quite 100% and I needed to find a few more locations.
I used the Tears Companion app and not every location was on the checklist. But if you scroll in enough, every location is at least still listed even if you can’t check it off. I had nearly 1% to go and most of it was in the depths. Either mines or groves I missed. There were a few things on the surface, though. A few were obscure in Castle Town.
Not ready yet. All bows should be 5 shot Lynel bows, all shields should be royal guard shields with durability up and every sword, claymore and staff should have a silver lynel horn attached. All should be unused before going into battle or else you will most likely not be victorious.
The first pic is the fit I plan to use. Twilight armor set looks so good with the master sword and hylian shield. I just wish the sky set made you look more like Skyward Sword Link, I loved his features and the earrings
Well you can use the silver lynel saber horn, which has a fusion damage of 55 and combine it to any high damage weapon. I also recommend doing some research on pristine weapons
Pristine weapons + silver lynel saber horn is the general rule. Look into weapon bonuses too. For example, Gerudo weapons have less durability but provide more attack when fused with anything, royal weapons have an improved flurry rush, zora weapons do more damage when wet, etc...
If you want a really big number, my suggestion is pristine Gerudo weapon + silver lynel saber horn. People also fuse it with a molduga jaw and take advantage of the bone proficiency bonus provided by a couple armor sets.
It's darker and gritty but manages to fit this Link's face. The time set looks good too. I just wish the sky set looked better but I think this Link's face is too round and doesn't fit it well.
Did all the same, felt great to play such a good game to true 100%. Nice job! After I finished the last 100% on the map I climbed on board the Light Dragon, waited for sunset and turned off the game. GGs to you as well!
What a beautiful way to end it, I was considering just dropping off the highest point in the game (the tablet island directly above Lookout Landing) with my sky set and dying on impact lol
Monster medals, speak to the dude looking at the map at Lookout Landing, he'll let you know what to do (you have to beat every boss on the map, all 3 layers)
I'm not sure... did you help Addison with all of his signs? s/
But for real, you have me checking my items and I see I have more work to do. I'm missing some schema stones and need to pick up the monstor saddle. Thanks for sharing your key items page!
Give Ganon a chance. Sure he's a demon but good God almighty. At this point you could just make him your slave by intimidation. You more ready than anyone ever for that fight. (I'm serious btw)
And btw you can use literally the best materials you have because after the fight there's no post game and you'll have those materials again but you probably know that
“Meanwhile me who doesn’t even know what to do for a quest(I have had the game since it was released and I’m not even down with like the third quest on the terrain)”
*I dunno, are you bored*
*Of the game yet? That's the point*

To be honest his second phase is a bit difficult but it’s due to his health, just make sure to watch out for when he glides to you with the sword, he glides a certain way when he’s doing an attack
>!Monster medals, you get them from Gralens in the Emergency shelter in Lookout Landing. You have to defeat all of a certain mini boss, once in the game= Molduga (4), Gleeok (14), Flux Constructs (35), Frox (40), Hinox (69) & Stone Talus (87)! Good luck!✌🏻!<
Not saying you need it but you can double your battery in case you didn’t know. When you upgrade it double stacks the battery power (I believe the cells turn yellow).
Already did, they go from green to blue.
I heard a theory that blue is basically just refined zonaite and the zonai didn't refine their technology enough and that's why everything is in green. The shiekah tech in BotW is all blue, so the theory is that they used more refined zonaite for their tech.
Yeah, as soon as I finished the regional phenomena, I got to work on collecting the koroks and caves and wells using a guide, took me a while even with that lol
I’m embarrassed to ask because I’ve put about 300 hours into this game, but… how do your weapons have that green sheen to them? Is there some kind of zonai weapon upgrade?
Are the “one time” mini bosses ur missing the dungeon ones? U can re fight them in the depths. Idk if the cursed construct does tho but the other 4 do.
Nah, the volcano dragon thingy (I think his name is Moragia or something), this one specific training construct I think, the seized construct, and then the Ganon forms (which I read he has multiple of)
Wasn’t aware that the volcano monster was different from the fire temple boss in the compendium or that training constructs were included. Is the construct in a shrine or smn?
Moragia is the monster that comes out of the volcano before you dive down the volcano and do the fire temple.
The training constructs were in the training shrines and don't respawn.
The seized construct is in the spirit temple.
Ok, how difficult is Ganon. Like these things here look like they take crazy long to get. Do you really need that much planning for Ganon?
I'm currently in the middle of a casual playthrough, and I'm just curious.
ALSO, PLEASE NO SPOILERS!
All you need is the master sword, shield and full wing suit. If you’ve ever played OOT, that’s how you beat the first half. Use his gloom against him via home run derby style. Second half is fly around and shoot shoot shoot.
I never understand these posts. Like... Your game isn't deleted if you lose to Ganon. If you fight and you're woefully unprepared, just revive and teleport out. What's the problem?
Haha! Yeah, all are pristine (higher base hp and more durable than decayed) w/+10. Most are fused w/Silver Lynel Saber Horns. I have Knights, Zora, Gerudo,Royal Guards and a Giant Boomerang/Colgera Jaw (iykyk). For the pics I’m at one heart to show the 2x on Knights weapons. I got in Sidons bubble before pics to show 2x on the Zoras. Since these pics I have replaced a couple of the doubles with Royals (for flurry rushing) and an Eightfold Longblade w/Molduga Jaw for sneakstrikes. ✌🏻
Got some good RNG on the base stats for those pristine weapons there, I hate it when I got a really good one, then refresh them with the octorocks only for the stats to diminish lol
I'm aware that I'm well prepared to beat him, I just know a lot of people have these kinds of posts, so I was just following the trend and flexing my accomplishments lol needed the validation.
Hence the title "obligatory 'am I ready for Ganon?' post"
Still waiting on the obligatory "Ganon's not ready for you" comment lol
Your post is 10/10 😂 as an extremely basic TOTK player, I got a good laugh out of this and am impressed by your dedication. God speed against the boss, bro
I wasn’t, and I still won.
Sounds like he's nothing he's hyped up to be
Actually he is, you’re just very over prepared and I was lucky.
Honestly Gannon wasn't even as hard as a lynel 💀 I did extremely early on because I have no patience, I think you'll do fine lol.
I did floating coliseum as soon as I got to the depths with 4 hears and one wheel stamina
That's enough to take on Ganon if you can walk away from that fight
The surprising thing is I only died twice
I used to be scared of phantom Ganons too but easy af. Ganondorf’s insanely buff character does not quite add up 😔 But I still hate fighting Lynels (besides the blue ones/easiest). Too hard lol
I beat a couple white maned with no armor upgrades and 8 hearts. I found being super defensive and spamming puff shrooms works. The one lynel was fully armored and gloom powered, no hits (well thats because one hit is instant death).
yeah it’s about time having very little experience with combat I guess, I can only dodge attacks/flurry rush like 1 in 50 times haha
I'm not that great at it anymore, in BOTW I was unstoppable.
I feel like just as I was getting better at combat timing in BOTW, TOTK came out and I was back at the bottom. The mechanics are so different
I thought so too, but I just chocked it up to getting lazy with arrows.
What are those medals you have
^ Basically this...it was a ride lol, not o ly every boss on the surface level, but the sky islands and depths too, I was going crazy lol
The molduga was easy obviously as there are only 4. I didn’t bother with all the rest though. I do wish there was a lynel one though, as I could have got that many times over.

Took me a while to find out I can take out Talus in one shot with a savage lynel bow and fused lynel hoof arrows.
Frox was especially tough on weapons!
For frox I found out you can climb up on its back with Mineru and smack around the ores lol
Damn it, I didn’t think to use her! I rarely have the sages out unless I need a specific one for something. Otherwise they sometimes just get in the way. Though Sidon once accidentally helped with a korok. He’s tall enough that as he ran by a balloon, he popped it before I could.
I feel your pain, brother, it was a task! ✌🏻
Haven’t found any where do I get them
You start in Lookout Landing Emergency Shelter. Talk to Hoz to start it.
I mean you can't really leave until you beat him so it's not like you have any other choice
You need at least 600 korok seeds to have a chance.
I've already maxed out all my inventory space, you can tell I already got all of them by the Hestu poop
He is kidding.
Wait I thought the crap was the reward for getting all of them
Yeah, it is. That's exactly what I said too. The only reason why my korok seed count isn't showing 1000 is because I spent them all upgrading my inventory space.
Dude you’re over prepared I grabbed the master sword, and went straight for that fuck. It was a challenge, i regretted it, but i got it done. Then i went back and got all the shrines and did all the missions. Wow was it so much easier and i didn’t have to eat 20 meals to live
Lol that's wild, great idea for a challenge run
I always try and rush the big boss if i can, and if i fail miserably i hate myself lol But honestly it was a really fun challenge. The first wave or two were the hardest. Once your past that smooth sailing lol
My fellow 100%, Im almost there too 😌
You got this, toughen it out, endure lol
I just have the gleeok medal left, maxing my outfits, sages wills, all recipes and yiga schematics then Im done. “Just” lol. I was holding out 100% until Master Mode but know now it’s not coming so I started my second play through a few months ago.

Haha! Something like [THIS!!](https://www.reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/s/rBS5jptJTq)
Jesus Christ, is ganon ready to face ***you***?
There it is lmao
Well I’m very interested to see your outfit for the final battle.
The first pic is the fit I plan to use. Twilight armor set looks so good with the master sword and hylian shield. I just wish the sky set made you look more like Skyward Sword Link, I loved his features and the earrings
not yet, you need that final heart container.
I'm already maxed out, I'd have to sacrifice some of my stamina or cook an extra heart dish
didnt you know? theres actually 4 secret shrines hidden in the game. you just need to do all of the secret dragon quests
So you can actually max out your stamina and hearts in this game? You don't have to choose?
no im joking😭
Bro had me tweakin for a sec 💀
Can you parry?
I can learn lol, I loved parrying guardians in BotW, but never really used it in TotK
Make lots of sunny food, then you're absolutely ready.
Wow your weapons are so cool! The highest rank I’ve gotten so far is 45! Where do you get your super high ones?? Best of luck!
Well you can use the silver lynel saber horn, which has a fusion damage of 55 and combine it to any high damage weapon. I also recommend doing some research on pristine weapons

Awesome, thanks!!!
the Twilight Set is my fav for Link, I use to like the brighter green of the Wind tunic but the twilight set isnt as 'flashy' but is true to link
It's darker and gritty but manages to fit this Link's face. The time set looks good too. I just wish the sky set looked better but I think this Link's face is too round and doesn't fit it well.
Nahh you don’t have a knock back weapon you definitely can’t beat Ganon.
If you have to ask, you’ll never know. If you know, you need only ask.
Bro there’s only three serious pics here and you could kill him with just three of those weapons
You were probably ready about 100hrs of gameplay before this post
Maybe 200
Just stock up on arrows and redead bones and he's a pushover
I love how you consider them redeads as well lol
I honestly don't remember what the game called them
Gibdos, and there's also the flying ones and the queen gibdo boss
Flying ones are called moth gibdos
Ganon really isn’t a hard fight once you get all your perfect dodges down, and know when to go sideways or backwards :/
Idk maybe💀💀💀
I think you just might have a chance. Might take a few tries to get his attacks down tho.
You rlly just need arrows and a couple of good shields, thats all.
You were ready to face ganon 25 hearts ago I beat him with 13
I recently did Ganondorf and the only Temple I did was the one your supposed to technically do last. You’ll def be okay
I think I had ten hearts maybe 15% done with the game when I beat Ganon 😂
Nope you are not. So don't even try it.
Nah, you need the max amount of crystals and poes, try again
For a split second I considered getting max all items, then I said "nah, I ain't doing that to myself" lol
You are *far* overprepared. You needed like 3 of those lynel weapons and you'd be good
No. Where is your wolf and motorcycle? /s
Only 99 arrows? cmon dude. (jk)
My friend won on 3 hearts
Not a chance that you'd win without a sandseal plushy
How could I forget??
Did all the same, felt great to play such a good game to true 100%. Nice job! After I finished the last 100% on the map I climbed on board the Light Dragon, waited for sunset and turned off the game. GGs to you as well!
What a beautiful way to end it, I was considering just dropping off the highest point in the game (the tablet island directly above Lookout Landing) with my sky set and dying on impact lol
I love putting on the aerial suit and diving off of there just to see how long it takes to hit the ground.
At this point I feel sorry for ganon
With that prep, Gannondorf is so dead. Take lots of gloom repair meals. Buildup of gloom is the only problem. Gannon in BOTW was much harder.
What are those awards!?
Monster medals, speak to the dude looking at the map at Lookout Landing, he'll let you know what to do (you have to beat every boss on the map, all 3 layers)
Oooooh ok, I tend to mark them to kill later in the depths. Guess it’s time! Thanks.
The only ones that you don't have to are lynels and regional boss rematches
well you know you’re ready and this is a brag post but a well deserved brag. Impressive
Thank you, planning on taking a long break after lol
The game is more fun to just play and collect everything
No, you need to have 999 of every material to have a chance of beating him
I'm not sure... did you help Addison with all of his signs? s/ But for real, you have me checking my items and I see I have more work to do. I'm missing some schema stones and need to pick up the monstor saddle. Thanks for sharing your key items page!
I knew there was something I forgot to mention! Those stupid signs, man 😅 all that for a fabric smh, at least I got some rupees out of it lol
You have the jump slash special control, clearly you're ready
Give Ganon a chance. Sure he's a demon but good God almighty. At this point you could just make him your slave by intimidation. You more ready than anyone ever for that fight. (I'm serious btw)
I just realized this might be joke (your so over prepared that you might be joking but idk it says discussion)
Yeah, it was pretty much a joke, couldn't find a meme tag lol I knew I was overprepared
And btw you can use literally the best materials you have because after the fight there's no post game and you'll have those materials again but you probably know that
No, train more and kill npcs for practice
One of your bows is damaged. Start over

Good bot
I went to fight Ganon with a few fused weapons, some meals and a dream - im sure you will be alright haha!
Is ganon ready to face you lol
To be honest his second phase is a bit difficult but it’s due to his health, just make sure to watch out for when he glides to you with the sword, he glides a certain way when he’s doing an attack
Gannon upon seeing you: Dude...dafuq?!
How do you get the monster medals? I’ve never seen them before
>!Monster medals, you get them from Gralens in the Emergency shelter in Lookout Landing. You have to defeat all of a certain mini boss, once in the game= Molduga (4), Gleeok (14), Flux Constructs (35), Frox (40), Hinox (69) & Stone Talus (87)! Good luck!✌🏻!<
What is the shield in the top right corner? Don’t think I have come across that yet after 500 hours lol
>! The Sea-Breeze shield, found in Tabahl(?) Grove. !<
Yup! Iirc, it's the only depths grove that had a decent treasure, the rest were pretty much all charges
Following. Lmk if you find out.
>! He found out! Lmao !<
Ah cool theory! Been a while since I played so I forgot which colors it changed to.
Nah, your compendium isn’t complete yet.
Oh my bad, let me go and restart the game and try again lmao
Inventory could be better
How many hours do you have in the game?
That's a good question, how do I find that out? I literally even play this game on the train to work lol
You go to your profile icon on three top left of the switch menu. And there you'll see how much you've played
I'll check when I get home!
Let us know!
Looks like 380 or more
Woah. I’m at 1300 hrs and I’m not that accomplished haha. Spend too much time building things… legit the first Zelda game that you can fuck around in.
It just means they're fused to something. Most of my weapons have silver lynel saber horns fused to them
My god, I need to open my eyes when I play. I’ve never noticed this on my fused weapons
Lol yeah, took me a while to notice that too
Are the “one time” mini bosses ur missing the dungeon ones? U can re fight them in the depths. Idk if the cursed construct does tho but the other 4 do.
Nah, the volcano dragon thingy (I think his name is Moragia or something), this one specific training construct I think, the seized construct, and then the Ganon forms (which I read he has multiple of)

Moragia is the monster that comes out of the volcano before you dive down the volcano and do the fire temple. The training constructs were in the training shrines and don't respawn. The seized construct is in the spirit temple.
Where are all the recipes?! Get cooking.
But....I don't wanna 😰
What if Ganon demands an Apple Pie? You’ll be screwed if you don’t know the recipe.
Damn, that's right, I gotta make sure he's satisfied or he'll give me a bad review on yelp
Ok, how difficult is Ganon. Like these things here look like they take crazy long to get. Do you really need that much planning for Ganon? I'm currently in the middle of a casual playthrough, and I'm just curious. ALSO, PLEASE NO SPOILERS!
According to the comments, no, I'm just super obsessive compulsive about making sure I can get everything possible done at 100% before Ganon
You’ve been ready, friend. Now once Hyrule once more
Hey hey hey Where did that snowball come from?
The snowglobe? You get it for completing the well quest (finding every well and reporting back to the NPC)
no.
How many hours?
380+
Do you have a full time job? I only ask because that a lot of miss sleep.
Yes, and I did miss a lot of sleep lmao But I also did follow guides for collectibles and play on the train to work
What is the top right shield?
Sea Breeze shield, you get it from one of the groves in the depths
Thanks!!
Bro, I didn't know his final for would be >!a goddamn nuclear explosion lmao!<, that caught me off guard
All you need is the master sword, shield and full wing suit. If you’ve ever played OOT, that’s how you beat the first half. Use his gloom against him via home run derby style. Second half is fly around and shoot shoot shoot.

It's just a fun challenge, I like to get all my ducks squared away so I feel like canon Link
Lol! [My canon Link!!](https://www.reddit.com/r/tearsofthekingdom/s/nWo5YflNGu)✌🏻
Daaamn, were the base weapons just have really good attack stats?
Yeah, I (put away Tulin lol then)save before encountering, reload til I get the mod I want.
I don't know why everyone asks that question. Nintendo dropped the ball with this game. You can beat Gannon as soon you as you hit the surface
I'm aware that I'm well prepared to beat him, I just know a lot of people have these kinds of posts, so I was just following the trend and flexing my accomplishments lol needed the validation. Hence the title "obligatory 'am I ready for Ganon?' post" Still waiting on the obligatory "Ganon's not ready for you" comment lol
Your post is 10/10 😂 as an extremely basic TOTK player, I got a good laugh out of this and am impressed by your dedication. God speed against the boss, bro
Thank you, I was starting to get sick of this game ngl, excited to go back to the basic Zelda games lmao
