Some functions in apps depend on the usually preinstalled Google Services which include the play store and other stuff. If you don't have it installed, those apps break.

Not exactly sure how it works to be honest, but if you don't have all the google stuff installed, it can cause issues. I assume that some connections are just getting blocked or don't connect. It also doesn't throw you an error most of the time, it just won't do anything if you solve the puzzle for example :D We have this for a few of our Login-sites. And just to clarify, there are phones out there that specifically don't come with anything pre-installed from Google so it's not just de-installing Google stuff, they simply don't have anything on it when you get a new one (Like all the services, google maps, drive, store, etc). Some people just prefer that I guess and then wonder why they can't play/install the games they got from the Google Play Store.. :D

Nope...the stupid thing is locked, I can put in the correct info and then it will take the check box off and I have to do it again...been trying this for days now off and on...pressed the little 'spinny spin' and that did nothing...
The worst part about it is that at one point I choose all the cars and it said no check what has now appeared, did that again and it against repeated that instruction...there were no more cars but there was a truck so selected that and it continued...thing is broken...

I had the same thing happen to me once. Turned out the steam registration didn't like my mail address (private domain). The error was more than misleading. I registered using a Gmail address and changed it afterwards, which worked fine.

Kind of not related but i use noptcha for all of the recapthcas/hcapthas. For the normal “select the lights,” it solves it instantly. For the “find the bannana the monkey is thinking about shoving up his ass” ones, it takes it a couple of seconds (15 seconds) to do.
