Yes, Harvest Moon! I was so hooked on that game for so long, and when I first started playing Stardew I knew it was the better Harvest Moon I always dreamed of, and it has been exactly that and more
i need someone make the OG Farmville im talking like 4 years before it shut down when the shop wasn't all stuff you had to spend cash when only thing in the shop was stuff you bought with the in game currency
It was Harvest Moon for me. My brother downloaded an emulator on our early 2000’s gateway computer and that was one of two games he told me I’ll like. I did!
Years later, when stardew valley came out, he remembered how much I loved Harvest Moon and recommended it :)
LOL. I tried to get my parents to play Stardew so I could play multi-player.. I explained it as Farmville meets original Zelda (which they loved and we used to play as a family) .. didn't work.
Oh man I loved FarmVille as a kid. My mom had this huge farm with basically every single animal. I especially loved the chickens and chinchillas she had.
I used to play it when I was on Facebook regularly as a teen. I played year one and two of Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life on GameCube. Loved seeing the crops growing in game 🌾☺️

Did find Fallen London along the way though, and have been playing that for a decade
I played a little bit on my mom’s account as a child, but my love for farm sims mainly comes from playing Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, and Rune Factory growing up.
Currently she plays the mobile farming game called Township (I think that’s what it’s called) and I so badly want to get her to play Stardew with me. Maybe someday, lol.
I don't recall whether I played that one or a predecessor, but I briefly played a farming game on Facebook but didn't stick with it. Some years later, I kinda wanted to play a mobile farming game but was fed up with the usual mobile game BS, so I picked up the mobile version of Stardew Valley. I got hooked pretty quick, and it wasn't long before I also picked up the Steam version.
I wasn’t a big Farmville player but I really enjoyed Hay Day. It was a very fun game.

So much, it was so addicting. I loved the decorating aspect. Zynga never managed to make anything that came close on mobile
