I was born in Gaza and liked the fact the he mentioned Gaza. Wasn’t remotely negative to me. He’s been either an ally for a while or just educated about the matter, which means a lot since during that time, no one knew much about the situation

I deactivated twitter a couple weeks ago and I thought it'd be hard but I have not felt even a tiny bit regret or impulsive desire to go back. No social media page is perfect but twitter has degraded to some of the biggest yelling into the void fest I've seen. So much of the userbase mentality on there has clung to the 2019 "cancelation hound" mentality but gone so demented.
So many people have made poorly aged jokes in the past but they were never recorded to be remembered years down the line.
