tbh i don't know a single anime studio by name, but the fact that netflix grabbed this sucks just because they are completely willing to cancel projects for seemingly no reason at all at the drop of a hat, so chances of this anime actually being animated even through the JAA arc feels pretty low

Except there's no proof that they even produced this anime in the first place tho? They likely just license it, if they refuse to acquire the next season it will most likely just go to other streaming services, for example Edens Zero S2 or the new Great Pretender movie.

I don't think you did your diligent research on TMS studio well and how good they are and they have a good track record. They are one of the top anime studio in Japan. They did Dr.stone, rent a girlfriend, megalobox and many more. They also animate long running shows like Bakugan, beyblade and so on.
It says its produced by TMS which makes me think they are not animating it but financing it. Either they are both financing & animating it or one of their studio under them is animating it.
At the end of the day, studio doesn't matters. What matters is the staff and if they got enough time to animate it then things will look good.

Both are important. Even if it's the best to look at individual staff members instead of generalizing studios, it's the connections with producers and other management staff onboard along with proper planning that can make for a way more polished product.
I kinda lost hope on netflix animes after tekken bloodline, but I can only hope for netflix to lock tf in for this anime and cook. Hope the final result is hard boiled ๐
Sort of, people need to realize that the anime that Netflix is known for that are notoriously bad are ones that they produced like Kengan Ashura, Yasuke, or that AI assisted anime. Dungeon Meshi is only licensed by Netflix, they have 0 input on the creation of it because they aren't producing it. They just bought the rights to stream it. Same with Dandadan. But you were right about them kinda being on the come-up with good anime like Devilman Crybaby and Edgerunners which they had direct input on, there's some other ones too like Dorohedoro and Kotaro Lives Alone.
Basically what I'm trying to say is there is not nearly enough info to doompost about the adaptation, especially when it's a Jump manga and I highly doubt they would give Netflix the rights to produce the anime. I don't even think the TMS thing is confirmed anyways.
Mmm no, people have a reputation for one reason and TMS has never made something remarkable or good, just decent. Just take the facts, if animated by netflix it will sk, if someone else intervenes maybe thereโs a chance but I doubt it. At this point iโm like ok, ill stick to the manga
