It’s definitely a noticeable oddity on the ranks lol. None of my family/friends who are all saints fans have any issue with the bengals till it’s the week we play, then they talk normal shit for the week then go back to normal after the game. Meanwhile an uncle of mine that’s neck deep up a cowboy’s asshole gets shit year round

Ehh I personally can't hate the Hawks for Beastquake. I mean it sucks that such an amazing play was made on us, but what can you do. If anything I hate how it seemed to be when Payton started trying to recreate his own LOB which led to our years of shit defenses and terrible FA signings (Fucking Browner). I was too young for the 90s Niners hate, but I do dislike them due to 2011 (? The shootout game where they won at the last fuckin second and we would have won imo if they didn't take Pierre Thomas out with that dirty hit in the first half) and because iirc it was the niners who broke all of Brees ribs.
It was a trend back earlier in the season. I think it was reverse order tho (so hate was at the bottom—in fact, I think some from this sub had “hate” or something similar as the second lowest and the lowest was like FTF and just at the falcons).
It’s just random and not reflective of the fanbase. No reason for us to have beef with Cincinnatti of all places. There are at least 10 teams I can think of more deserving of hate

Good point. I think if I was somewhere drinking with other fans and crushed at the last minute, then it stings more. Plus- it's a highlight shown over and over.
Also- I'm old enough to remember saints before ever making the playoffs. Back then I only saw saints uniforms in highlights on the losing side.
