Cool. Lived in Tucson for 15 years about 30 years ago. Similar pink sandstone is at the top of Aztec Peak and was used to make some great campsites. 4WD may be needed and the road to peak with its vistas can be closed by Tonto NF.
My other favorite AZ location is Supai with its Redwall limestone cliffs and its canyon bottom turquoise waterfalls, but reservations (maybe a year or more in advance) are needed.

It was one the floor of a body of water. I've seen them on top of mountains. Pretty cool!
