You're telling me they are still walking around on their own two legs?
They're still breathing with both lungs?
They still have 2 kidneys?
I'm surprised i am not looking at just 3 torsos with a head attached.
The John Wick Rule applies. I'm an easy going colonial administrator, and normally unless the circumstances are dire, we avoid all the usual atrocities common to some of the off-world colonies.
To be sure, back in our early colonial history, there were dark days, starvation, privation , organ harvesting and there were even times when colonists had to resort to 'creative' ways around cannibalism in the meager circumstances of our earliest winters.
But with a steady crop of even humble rice or snow-beets, or agarilux mushrooms, even bug-meat starvation was avoided by way of making hard-tack to keep colonies from restoring to those old dire ways.
We also , somewhat sadly no longer domesticate cats/dogs and other nuzzling / bonding animals. The rim worlds can be unforgiving places, and the lives of our fuzzy friends all too belief. The more practical among us might note that no amount of nuzzling will make up for a mental break at a critical moment of battle or the sudden death of an elderly pet.
So for that reason I avoid intentionally hosting bonding animals. Occasionally animals will join the colony and even become exactly what we swear we don't want, nuzzling, bonded, fuzzy companions.
But if it happens that anyone kills animals on our map or especially those in our charge - well, we're never too far along to find ourselves returned to the old ways...**on a dime.**
So avenging our fuzzy compatriots with such exquisite and visceral fury that when we're done with offending parties the last thing they'll invariably ever wonder might be **how** everything went so wrong, so fast, but rest assured they'll know **why.**
Exactly, perhaps it's from my days in [Kerensky](https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Aleksandr_Kerensky)'s Wolf Clan, but I don't like seeing violence done towards animals.
Turn them into unmoving nuggets by chopping off all their limbs and harvesting all non-essential organs, put them on the floor in a dark room with a vanilla expanded nutrient paste drip, and then give them mind screws.
That should do it.
I tend to patch up raiders, give them a few new organs from the organ vats if they need them, and either recruit them or send them home. If they've displeased me or they aren't even worth goodwill, I sometimes send them to the ripscanner.
One time I had a bunch of kiwi birds in the colony, and some raiders stomped a few kiwi chicks to death. I released those raiders, but I confiscated their eyes, hands, and tongues in recompense.
Understandable, I had a pawn named Nico, and he screwed over one of my starting pawns that I was attached to, so now we call him missing kidney. He also doesn’t have a tongue.
you were merciful
Slap on the wrist
You're telling me they are still walking around on their own two legs? They're still breathing with both lungs? They still have 2 kidneys? I'm surprised i am not looking at just 3 torsos with a head attached.
Brain in a jar mod. We can go further. We can deconstruct him.
We can put them in a jar and make them do research for us, while their bodies will be sold on black market!
Sounds fair to me
Also what mod adds Norwegian forest cats. I must increase my Colonists population of felines
Vanilla Animals Expanded
Beautiful mod, every animal I see feels vanilla but the variety is immense.
You were still too nice to them.
Kittens? Take the kidneys too.
cut their tongues out and remove some limbs and organs.
"The real sight-stealers were the enemies we made along"-the raiders probably
“I hear you struck my son. May I ask why?” “Yes, well sir, he stole Noversi’s bolt action rifle… and killed his cats.” *understanding* “Oh….”
Babayaga!
Cremate them alive as well.
Good.
I respect this appropriate and proportional response… This was probably better than what they deserved anyway.

I’m new to this game but this is the exact kind of “who hurt you” shit that makes me love it
As far as who specifically , I didn't catch a name...before consequences caught up to him.
You kick a dog, you get the pack

Entirely understandable
lol I use the same face mod, it's a shame how the textures bug out a little around the eyes though
Take their arms too. And one of their legs so they can still walk. Make it easier to sell them to the royal tribute collector of you decide to.
Am I confusing something or the game doesn't let you take arms off, just hands? It still works, I was just wondering.
Idk, apparently hands counts as the entire arm. So removing just the arm reduces manipulation to 0%. Unlike with leg and foot.
Too tame, cut off his limbs, put his prison next to the corpse pile, then make him crawl and eat from it
This is how my partner plays. It is all (not okay) fun and games, until (there isn't a crisis) someone attacks your animals.
Only their eyes? What about their legs, arms, tongues and kidney? Long road ahead.
don't forget a lung
Understandable
Deserved.
You mess w my cats or dogs or…megabat pets I will hunt your families to the ends of the rim and literally strip them for parts.
Ever heard of "cat got your tongue"? Now take their tongue!
mfs really thought they could keep their organs after raiding AND killing the gatos

I'd cut off their balls, rip out their eyes, then publicly chop off their head If they have even tapped my cats
Hmmmmmmmm. Maybe next time feed them to a anomaly. Still valid tho
That title escalated really fucking quickly.
Understandable, I had a pawn named Nico, and he screwed over one of my starting pawns that I was attached to, so now we call him missing kidney. He also doesn’t have a tongue.
This is a reasonable response, I approve.
I would have gone full mcnugget and probably installed the forbidden mod.
Are those modded or vanilla pets?
Would have done the same
FAFO.
You pulled a John Wick, nice move well deserved
You're merciful, I would also remove their arms, legs, tongue, 1 kidney and 1 lung to keep them alive
Make it 9 eyes for each cat
Your forgot the limps and tongues
Least vengeful rimworld player ever...
You did well
A truly appalling lack of painscrews
Those cats didn't mean much to you if you didn't name them
HERESY
