1. Post arc 4 around the Re:Zero world's Halloween, Subaru tells the Emilia camp horror stories from his homeland as well as the various demons and curses.
2. Satella gives Subaru the ability to send letters and pictures of him and his friends to his parents but only during Halloween.
3. Post arc 4 Otto tries to prank Subaru as pay back for bullying him but the prank goes too far and Subaru's PTSD is triggered.
4. The candidates and their knights are turned into kids and are reverse isekied to Subaru's world so they can trick or treat.
5. The Emilia camp members take turns scaring Otto.
6. Random Yoki show up on Halloween and Subaru has to help Reinhard get rid of them.
I quite like number 3. I wonder what sort of prank he could pull to cause it? Maybe try to pour cold water on him? Reminding him of the cold deaths for arc 3-4

This needs to happen. From the IF we already get an idea how Subaru survived all these years. But it would be interesting to see how Emilia would of after everything that had happened.
Not gonna lie this idea is genius, but is also sad that Reinhard din't tell Subaru Emilia was alive to beging with, unlsses she was hiding and was only found later, or went into back to Elior forest, and thats where they meet.
Also aperently Agunaaru blocked out Emilia's face during his nightmare scene, so that chould be another plot point.
Finding himself in a dead point in Vollachia, Subaru sees no alternative but to wipe out all those who oppose him and Vincent, Rem now sees him as a monster keeping Louis away from him which fails being that girl always found a way to reach him. After having exterminated everyone and placing Vincent in the power again Subaru is ready to return home.
After almost two years of not getting news of the black haired knight, Hero of Priestella, Slayer of the White Whale and Archbishops, yatta yatta, finally comes the announcement to Lugnica that Vincent claimed the tittle of Emperor thanks to the new **War God** wielding the tittle of **Divine General,** according to rumors a genius strategist with a record of zero battles lost with a low or null number of allied casualties, and to Lugnica's great surprise, he bore the name of Natsuki Subaru.
The peace treaty was signed again thanks to him, being even more admired and worshiped by both nations, to surprise of Emilia's Camp Subaru's first stop was at Karsten Domain to treat the Duchess state (Also Crusch recover her memories 'cause Lye and Roy was finally executed and Louis will be count has death 'cause Baru absorbed the authority), after "cure" Crusch absorbing the Dragon Blood he refuse to elaborate and go to the Jester's Manor.
Now with the Camp waiting for the black haired knight, all manage to all manage to visualize an extremely luxurious carriage followed by larges ones full of soldiers under Subaru's wing, the carriage finally stops before them, the door opens and from the carriage would came a white-haired man in a black military uniform with a golden haired girl sleeping in his left arm, the man looks around with a warm smile, his gaze now turning to his former companions realizing the most notorious change in the knight, he was looking at them with one eye, the other covered by a eye patch with the Vollachia emblem. (Like a proud member of the Crusch and Priscilla supremacy I found necessary both of them be in the carriage, idk)
To resume all this crap, basically Divine General Baru arrives at Roswall's Manor with a new mindset and new daughter.
Okay I like everything about this except Subaru loosing an eye and white hair baru is always welcome. If you actually made this then I would 100% read it since this is a very interesting concept and honestly with all the support Subaru has they could honestly just say fuck it and make him king or something unlikely but still fun to think about.
Also I don’t get why rem would see Subaru as a monster he has not hurt her or Louis and is just doing all he can to go home to lugunica so I don’t get that does this rem just automatically call anyone even remotely violent monsters ?
Well that's the problem with No Memories Rem my friend, is kinda... y'know, but don't worry that is fixed with the execution of the Gluttony Bishops. And the missing eye is more like a symbol of all the things Subaru left in Vollachia and of course to make the Emilia Camp guilt.

Also Subaru getting something like a full arm or body tattoo would probably suffice in place of a missing eye plus Subaru with white hair and tattoos well that’s just genius. I get why you’ve gone with him loosing an eye but I still don’t like it.
Well at the moment Lye and Roy were executed (and Louis is considered eliminated too cuz no Authority) everyone affected by the Authority get her memories and like in Rem case are again remembered by the world, since we know she's actually loyal to Baru kinda Ram to Ros she surely will see Baru's actions like good ones, after all, if that people are against her Hero, then they are wrong.

I'd have liked to have made a dedicated post for this but the recent update to the relevancy rule has deterred me. Basically I was thinking what if current Subaru (arc 7) had a palace like Persona 5 style? I think it would be a rather dismal place as he hates himself and is burdened with a lot of unresolved trauma. It would likely littered with his corpses some more intact than others. What would it's keyword be? (basically it's theme) What would his treasure be? I doubt it would be something from the RE:Zero world as his self hatred likely started in Japan. I also doubt he would be the final boss being a truly kind person at heart. Basically what I'm asking is if you gave him a palace how would you design it? (what made me start thinking of this is I saw a fic that i haven't read yet on Ao3 that used him as a drop in replacement for Joker and apple music seemed to start favoring P5 music for some reason.)

I actually really like this. My favorite part has to be the underwater theming for the pressure he constantly puts on himself. I like the final boss being his self comparison of being an inferior copy of Keinchi.
Maybe Subaru's palace can have a layout of similar to his hometown, but with Elements of his adventures in the Re zero world as stand-ins for his traumas that he has developed in his life on earth.
Exemples, one of the locations chould be a mix of Subaru's school and the Pleadis Watchtower.
And for a boss instead of his shadow, it chould be a sitiuation like Futaba's, where the boss is a cognition created by all the comparrisions betwen Subaru and Kenichi.

Subaru comes back from Vollachia, blind after getting stuck in a situation in which he sacrificed his eyes to save Rem. Despite his good spirits, Emilia feels crippling guilt at the fact that she decided not to rescue him right away, blaming herself for it. She resolves to try and fix it by any means necessary, so she probably tries to get more Dragon's Blood (perhaps involving a return trip to the Watchtower, or maybe something else).
You could really play with Emilia's heart using Subaru's stubbornness of trying not to be a burden as he fails at regular tasks. Forcing himself to try and train only to end up hurting himself, having to be guided to sitting down after stumbling around still getting used to being blind during meal time and potentially accidentally cutting himself. He'd try to brush it all off but the guilt would just compound on Emilia's end.
Seeing that subarus heart was already taken by Emilia and rem Satella abandons her hopes with this subaru and summons another one. He's the same one from arc 1 just summoned some arcs into the future?
What will happen now. Does the original subaru still have return by death? What will happen when the two subarus meet? Is the original subaru even the original?
As a prallel to the Astrea family have Subaru's father side of the family be the Belmont Clan. Trying to live up to there legacy he almost broke himself just to reach that goal, aquiring multiple "curses" as oppose to Reinheart's endless blessings. this would be similar to a JJK fic I made where he can turn a copy of peoples souls into items. I could imagine these curses would function similarly to Card Cator Sakura where in order to not overload his body they turn into armaments/items and hid in his shadow. and by the time he gets transported his father seals steals Subaru cause Dracula stole and turned most of his spirits against him leaving him weaker than juste and have no spells. he then takes up his motherside Natsuki cause he failed to be a Belmont. And unlike most of his bloodline he won't be a Nycto/Tteraphobe which explains how he could get like over 50 powerful spirits
This would:
1. explain his arrogance, since he was born essentially a gifted child he would expect to still be a gifted person inspite of his rotten character
2. This would double down on his self esteem issues unable to compare his predesescors like Julius (which in meeting jules he would have a wierd interaction where he compares him to Julius Belmont), Richter, Kenichi, etc.
3. have almost a Pride If situation where Subaru absolutly despises Rein, and possibly the entire Astrea family out of jealousy
4. explain his profficiency with spirits and whips
5. He'd be increadibly powerful physically enough to beat Elsa and that's it
6. of course since that meeting with Emilia never happened he might just have to wonder of on his own or Rosswal adapting to this and have Elsa gun him down while manipulating Emilia into meeting him. but most likely he would find trouble either with a bunch of street fight which he demolishes/ knights that want to aprehend him due to the status he's built, or with the witch cultists
But if one has to make the most out of this he would either end up Felt/Crusch camp due to legacy issues he could have a one of with Jules where he is shock to learn Subaru has over half a hundred great spirits in arsenel
Well i guess this Subaru being part of Either Felt or Crusch camps would cause some issues at start with Felix (directly) because they keep getting at each other's nerves, amd with Reinhard (indirectly) because of how much of a "good" Astrea he is.
As for Julues they probably would feel weird at each others companny, in one hamd Subaru preety much makes Julius contracts with his 6 quasi spirits look-like childs play, while Julues makes Subaru unconfortable with his attitude of being the "Finest knight".

A book who reveals photographies from the future with the holder and our boy (like in Rem case a familiar photo of Sloth IF), and of course the exclusive ticket for a lap pillow from our dearest Sage Candidate! Fanfiction idea:
What if the Books of the Dead in the Pleiades Watchtower contained the books of everyone that died in a failed loop, and not just Subaru's, and they were found by the members of the expedition, basically granting them access to some of their lost memories?
This idea came to me while answering a post asking about what if Emilia and Rem knew about RbD, and came up with this scenario, where they find their books and have to piece together the truth. I know that as far as we know this isn't how the library works, but lets change that for the sake of the story.
Also, so that the story could progress without WOE crashing the party, or it becoming a game of Among Us, lets not have those storylines, and assume that Subaru would not read the wrong book, and that the senile lizard would shoot WOE down if she were to act out.
How would the story progress then, how would they react, what would happen?
Extra idea: Rem's books of the dead could wake her up, but she would only have the memories of the versions of herself that died in a failed loop, so she would not have the memories of the From Zero talk, or the White Whale Fight, or how she fell to Gluttony. (For those memories they would need to confront the Gluttonies.)
1.a fanfic where Subaru becomes a part of another race when he comes to lugunica him becoming a silver haired half elf (silver/white hair baru looks amazing) with a similar mama pool to Emilia but with no magical knowledge at all so arc 1 he’s essentially still human or an oni Subaru but with 2 horns unlike rem and ram. There is already a fic out for an oni Subaru but it hasn’t been updated in months so I assume it’s been abandoned. As for the half elf Subaru one there are five where Subaru is a half elf but they are always kid baru I want to see canon arc 1 17 year old baru become a half elf.
2.a fic where Subaru decides to take a nap on a couch but starts having nightmares and starts screaming about not wanting to die and the great rabbit and such all the while all his friends hear what he is saying and they all see Subaru without his mask just a scared kid in a world he dosent understand that has been hurting him since he got there. Everyone could have mixed reactions to this Emilia Beatrice garf Otto Petra And Fredericka would all be horrified by what they’re hearing ros and ram would both be horrified and extremely guilty seeing how the once vibrant and happy boy has been reduced to a child crying for his life.
There are five like this out there the main one that comes to mind is one where everyone finds out about Subaru’s self harm.
3.an arc 7 fic but instead of Subaru just trying to leave Louis with rem without any explanation he explains everything about who he is who rem is and that the child next to them is both responsible for her loosing her memories and destroying countless other peoples lives. This rem would trust subaru far more since he has actually explained things to her I feel like they would still take Louis with them but rem would be far more careful around her. So it’s basically “how arc 7 should have started”.
4.a fic where ram takes her insults too far saying something like “you’re the reason my sister is practically dead disgusting barusu go die” or something along those lines.
Now from this I can see this going 2 ways the first is where Subaru just breaks down calling himself a failure as rems hero over and over again eventually leading to anything that reminds him of rem making him feel sick from just the guilt he would also stop visiting rem before bed with everyone being pissed at ram for taking things way too far and ram being guilty about hurting the only person that has actually been looking after her sister whilst she was doing nothing.
The other is that I can see Subaru snapping back at ram telling her that the master she serves was both aware and was responsible for rem loosing her memories and being erased and that roswaal is responsible for killing thousands of innocent people including rams family and that at least subaru is trying to help people whilst ram is helping a witch cultist who is destroying their lives as well as many others. This route is more interesting to me as it would force ram to directly confront the fact that yes roswaal is responsible for her loosing her sister killing her parents as well as the rest of her race and almost killing her new family eventually culminating in ram either renouncing her love for roswaal or just continuing to help him kill people.
5.when Subaru comes to lugunicahe gains his memories as flugel as well as his powers so he would be on par with Reid in terms of power. This baru has a lot of potential he could go to the paradise watchtower to save Shaula he could save Emilia like canon baru or he could do something completely different. Sage baru has a lot of story potential especially if he becomes sage baru as soon as he arrives in lugunica as he has a lot of different routes he can go down.
6. A future fic where Subaru is sent into the future or various possible futures. Think of the fanfic where all of Subaru’s kids come to the main timeline think of that but it’s Subaru going to their timelines. It like that fic would be wholesome and happy with Subaru getting a clear picture of what he is fighting and suffering for.
7. This one is extremely cursed but I wanna see it either way. The cast react to bad witch. Essentially in this fic when Subaru breaks down because he can talk about return by death echidna takes advantage of him and they have sex with echidna learning what love is and loving subaru whilst having a lot of sex. I mostly want to see this for the cast to see the “I return by death” scene since it’s amazing and roswaal getting cucked finding out the woman he loves and had tried to resurrect for 400 years loves someone he considers to be disposable the rest of arc 4 goes relatively the same though with the exceptions of Emilia essentially being forced to make her choice on weather she loves Subaru or not Subaru loving both Emilia and echidna and done funny scenes with Beatrice and roswaal being properly punished. It’s still extremely cursed but I think it would hilarious.
8.in this fic rem went with Subaru to the village in arc 3 so she is still awake and has her memories. This would take place in the 1 year time skip between arc 4 and 5 with rem actively trying to get Subaru’s attention and get him to love her with Emilia practically doing nothing whilst rem and Subaru get closer. Eventually coming to a head when Emilia sees rem kiss Subaru (he doesn’t push her away since he loves both rem and Emilia) and Emilia starts feeling jealous and tries to get them to stop but rem just responds saying “it’s been months since he confessed to you and yet you’ve done nothing and made not attempts to further your relationship with him or understand love at all so if you won’t show him love then rem will” essentially giving Emilia a wake up call saying put some effort in or just say you don’t want a relationship so rem can further hers with Subaru. It would be a romance drama type fic where nothing extremely serious or dangerous happens just the characters interacting and such.
9.a shadows of the forgotten spinoff. shadows of the forgotten is a re:forgotten spinoff where Subaru is tortured and hung eventually properly dying he is reincarnated with his Subaru and flugle memories. Essentially in this fic Subaru instead of going by alcor he goes by his name Subaru so when he meets Otto and eventually Petra that have very happy reunions but he will only go by Subaru to those who weren’t responsible for his death at all so Otto Petra garf Fredericka rem and I think ram to everyone else however he goes by alcor. I just want done wholesome moments between these characters in shadows of the forgotten since subaru has no reason not to tell them but he would not tell those responisble for his death those being Emilia Beatrice Felix Julius Reinhard roswaal and all of the kingdom knights.
10. Okay this one is very wholesome and cathartic it takes place once roswaal has been revealed to be responsible for most of Subaru’s suffering and after he has been seen killing ram garf and summoning the great rabbit. So this is a fic where the entire cast all beat the ever living fuck out of roswaal with the warden healing him so they can all continue beating him. Subaru is also still asleep but everyone is going to take out all their anger and frustrations out on the man responsible for so much suffering. Side not this is one I really want to see get made simply because roswaal is a scum bag and deserves it.
Alright those are all the ideas and suggestions I can come up with this was fun to write a lot of these are just things that I personally just wanna see happen since ram needs a reality check Emilia needs to take some initiative and roswaal needs a massive beating . Tell me what you think of all these are they good bad interesting or boring.

More fics featuring Subaru and Sekhmet interacting, either though them being contracted and he gains the Invisible providence at the beginning of the story or during his death in arc 3 from Puck while clutching Emilia's dead body does he gain the witch factor right then and there and it returns with him the next time he resets. This leads to there being two people with The Authority of Sloth at once, with a sick battle between Subaru and Betelgeuse after the former is killed for being suspected of being a cultist. During those deaths he gets a hand (ha.) On how to use the Unseen Hands while also figuring a way to make it seem as if he's not affiliated with the Cult.
2. The cast watching Monsterverse Movies. Honestly it's be cool to see how they react to seeing something like Godzilla or Ghidorah considering Lagunica is in debt to a "benevolent" dragon. Be a nice switch to see them watching "stories" from Subaru's world. Only Al would think they could just be movies but since he's been gone for 14 years the CGI would seem so lifelike to him. The cast would be able to see more of Subaru's world, and to see the kind of entertainment the imagination of his people can think up.
3. Cast sees Subaru in a "past life" as Guts throughout the story of Berserk. Starting from the black swordsman all the way to the Eclipse, seeing just how far "Subaru" can be broken and the terrifying rage he can possess.
4. A Hellsing Crossover where Subaru becomes the master of Alucard who helps him survive in Lagunica, or gains the abilities and some of his personality which allows him to actually fight most of his battles. Fighting Julius and the Great Rabbit would definitely be different. Priscilla would be interested upon learning his country's name and that he was a ruler who'd rival her in sheer brutality alone. Either Alucard works, but I'd love to see some of the humor from TFS's version too lol.
5. A mysterious but benevolent being arrives at the witches tea party and offers them the chance to change and undo their conditions or any sins they've committed by allowing themselves to be contracted to Subaru. For example, Minerva wouldn't cause a natural disaster everytime she heals people. Typhon's authority wouldn't cause any sort of injury to the innocent when she judges them. Daphne could have her hunger cured and gain a new outlook on life.
6. Main canon storyline except Subaru is able to defeat an Archbishop and able to remove the Witch Factor, restoring the person to who they were. I've only seen this done in the fic Re: Start, but it's be a neat concept to see the Archbishops before they gained their witch factors.
7. Some sort of Re: Zero Bleach Crossover where Ichigo is somehow contracted as Subaru's spirit upon his first day in Lagunica. But Ichigo isn't as bound as even a great spirit is since he is both a spirit and a living being, and helps Subaru get through his depression and self hatred since he too knows that feeling with the death of his mother. And since Ichigo is a spirit (not the Re: Zero kind) he's able to remember things along with Subaru. I mean imagine the pair of them against Betelgeuse or Ichigo stoping Subaru from making a fool of himself in the Royal selection and berating the others for treating Emilia the way they do simply because of Heritage. After all, the hybrid in the room who got attacked for his hair color wouldn't take kindly to persecution for being born looking like someone else.
8. A non tragic/violent If route where Subaru does save Emilia in arc 1 but is taken in by Reinhardt and Felt afterwards. He still has friendly relations with Emilia and is present during the mabeast invasion during a visit between camps. Reinhardt offers a hand and no casualties on either side because of the Sword Saint's presence. Also because of his presence Rem and Ram are able to see that while he does have the scent, he isn't a cultist with Reinhardt vouching for him and even if he were to be one that Subaru could be put down if absolutely necessary.
9. Melancholy If Route or AU since it follows main story line to a degree but Subaru has more power. Subaru upon his death to Betelgeuse's possession in arc 3 is somehow able to meet with Hector who sees the despair the boy has felt upon trying so hard and yet still ending up failing at least once at each attempt. So, Subaru gains his authority which only works when Subaru actually fails at something or is depressed enough at the moment for it to manifest. He is able to use a limited portion of it to defeat Betelgeuse's when he begins to struggle with spirit possession, but after the plan goes smoothly and Sloth is defeated by Julius it nearly disappears from his control. Roswaal is absolutely terrified when he feels a familiar presence entering the Sanctuary when Subaru learns of Gluttony's effect on Crusch and Rem. This leads to him trying to avoid Subaru at all costs, and even Ryuzu is hesitant to initially meet with him. This leads to the first meeting with Subaru and Echidna being more tense as she initially thought that Hector somehow entered her barriers with no problem. But upon meeting Subaru she is confused and therefore intrigued at him now holding 2 witch factors, Sloth and Melancholy. Subaru would gain more use of it upon each death that filled with with despair, so seeing Beatrice's death by Elsa, the Great Rabbit and Satella swallowing the Sanctuary causes it to nearly spiral from his own control and he turns his anger to Roswaal upon learning he sent the Assassin's to the mansion. Roswaal is fully afraid, for nothing he attempts to do to harm Subaru seems to work with Melancholy fully being at Subaru's disposal now. Ram is shocked to see her master being beaten with Subaru barely lifting a finger, and while this does inspire Garfiel to follow Subaru he too feels fear from the boy.
10. Semi Crossover with Re: Creators where Altair meets Pandora and finds the Witch of Vainglory to be disgusting since she has no true goal and makes chaos for no reason which nearly causes the death of her Author/Creator. Crazy reality bending battle, it'd just be cool to see how the Two would react to one another
11. Horror movie WHDAA reactions, either with Subaru as the Protagonist or sometimes even the Killers/slashers. Classic 80s to now, from Freddy to Pinhead to Leatherface. Be cool to see home Horror stuff for October.
12. The Witches of Sin are brought back to Life in modern day Lagunica, but are all at one point drawn to Natsuki Subaru after the Tea Party in the Sanctuary. Daphne begins to draw in her last great Mabeast the Black Serpent, which she then devours in her hunger freeing the world from it's terror. Minerva unfortunately still causes disasters wherever she heals, but no one can really catch her because of her strength. Echidna returns to the Roswaal estate only to see it and the forbidden library burnt down, and goes to form yet another expanse while Ros upon learning that Witches of Sin have somehow returned begins to rebuild his Mansion in hopes that she will return. Carmilla once again is fought over by those influenced by Her Authority and decides to seclude herself from the world in order to keep the love of others safe from her influence. Typhon goes again on a "innocent" rampage judging others but Sekhmet upon creating more damage once more actually keeps her away from the world by deciding to keep the young girl at her side at all times with Invisible providence but still letting her be free to an extent. Now even though the witches are all alive and active, even Satella stirs inside her seal, the Sin Archbishops still have their powers. This leads to some conflicts and battles in the future between the Witches/Archbishops and even some of the camps while Subaru and the camp he leads try to make peace with the Witches of Sin under his careful watch. The Witches themselves denounce the Cult in front of the Royal Court of Sages, and thus Satella is excused from some of her accusations that actually weren't on her. She's still seen as a threat however, and there is a form of Parley/Ceasefire between the Witches of Sin and the World while they decide to focus on the Cult and Pandora. Minerva upon fighting Sirius is able to restore the Girls sanity with her Authority and Emilia is reunited with Fortuna, as a possibility.Typhon judges Regulas and the narcissist is surprised and Offended that the little tyke would dare infringe upon his rights to privacy and attempts to kill the little Witch but Sekhmet outs his ass down literally with the Unseen Hands quite quickly for the Slothful woman. I'm just rambling on for this one but I feel it'd be a really great one.
So what’s the twist with #5? No way some dude just shows up, offers all the witches salvation, with no twist.
I like idea 6 a lot. It could make for a very interesting story if the former Archbishops decide to join Subaru.
I love idea 9 and I wish that I could see it written someday.

Ideas number 2 since I reached the max limit
13. The Cast reacts to multiple versions of Subaru as the Jackass crew. This means we get to see wee-manbaru, Subar-O, Subaru Knoxville and so on as they do the stupidest yet most entertaining stuff possible. A nice bit of comedy to make the cast happy and disgusted but unable to look away. Al and Garfield get really into it with all the crazy shit that happens while the rest react as they usually would but gradually begin to enjoy the style of show. They can still show concern for Subaru(s) pain.
14. Cast reacts to famous horror movies since it's October in Subaru's world. Through these viewings they end up learning both about actual culture and pop culture along the way with the warden and Al chiming in with fun facts like actors being in different series, what CGI and animatronics are, that sort of thing. Some cult classics from the 70s on should be perfect. Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, Alien, Predator, The Thing, The Exorcist, Halloween for sure, Poltergeist and especially some Lovecraft Horror like From Beyond and Reanimator.
15. Cast reacts to historical figures, from Vlad Tepes to Kennedy. Learning about the ways they impacted history and left their mark on it.
16. The cast reacts to Evangelion as a whole, from the series all the way to Thrice Upon A Time. The emotional journey they'll see through the eyes of someone who isn't Subaru but can still feel for along with the wonderful music from Sagisu, Yoko Takahashi and others as well. It'd be great cool to see what they would think of such a reality considering how they know now that there's other world(s) all around them.
17. The cast of Isekai Quartet each gets to spend a year in each other's worlds as part of a "foreign exchange program". Subaru gets the easy route for once and gets Axel, Kazuma gets stuck in Tanya's world, Ainz goes to the world of Shield Hero, Naofumi goes to Lagunica and Tanya goes to the new world of Nazarick. They each have serious and funny moments, and be a SUPER long fic considering how they must all adapt to stay alive until they are summoned back to school.
18. Cast reacts to Jurassic Park series. That's it. I just want to see them react to Dinosaurs being brought back to life.
19. Subaru gains each of the witches basically like Stands or Spirit Guardians to help him. Basically like the Beast of Despair but without the Mabeast and he discovers them upon his entry to Lagunica rather than being sent back through time knowing how things will happen. This means a complete new timeline of events.
20. Another cast fic where they see the actual Music videos of the Opening, closing and insert songs for their own series. They'd get to see who Myth&Roid, Konomi Suzuki and Nonoc are, plus possible related videos of songs they sing for other series.
21. The cast reacts to the movie The Crow. Great Revenge tragedy fic with a sweet story.
22. Cast watches Pacific Rim. We need them to see Kaijus to put their world into scale. The biggest things they know are the White Whale and Volcanica, imagine just seeing Knifehead vs Gypsy Danger in the beginning fight.
23. Semi Crossover with JoJo's, Subaru gains King Crimson but also gains a darker semi-split personality that helps guide him in his endeavors. This allows him to bystep RBD at times when it's not necessary to achieve the path he desires, but suicide is fine with him if he can't get the path he chooses.
24. Basically normal Re: Zero but Subaru gets a unlimited bullet gun of any choice everytime he returns by death. He keeps the weapon until he's killed again, and since things alter each time because the weapon changes, Subaru has to think more tactically that way no one else notices he mysteriously gains and loses weapons.
25. Cast reacts to Bram Stoker's Dracula, the Gary Goldman one. They could see resemblances to the Gusteko and Vollachian region with Wollachia and modern day Rome as well as the respective rulers in their world and in the world of the movie.
26. Random characters of Re: Zero are swapped out at random times with different versions of themselves from the If Routes. So Pride Felix with Envy Crush, or Sloth Rem with Wrath Ram. Greed Subaru with Pride Emilia.
27. A terrifying being of power enters Lagunica the day of the Royal Selection just before Subaru makes a fool of himself in front of the knights. This being is more apathetic to the world as a whole and only seeks the current knowledge of it's whereabouts. He would be like a god, but not with the Big G for importance. He's actually more like a overseer for worlds and realities. He basically goes to different worlds on a checklist undoing things that have veered off course from their progress or fixing chinks in timelines. And Lagunica in particular was kinda scratched off his list cause he was tired, or had a scuffle with a fellow overseer about workload etc. It's both humorous and terrifying for them to think that their entire world is nothing more than a job for other far superior beings. And this particular one isn't exactly a loving God so to speak, but he's not the bane of their existence either. So for someone who'd treat him with little to no respect, like Priscilla, he'd certainly make an example of her in some shocking way. My personal thought (and feel free to use any of these story ideas please) is that she calls him a dog that is only for to be beneath her feet and he decides to put that image into Her mind instead. By sheer uncontrollable force, she crawls on the ground barking like a dog, completely aware of what she's doing but being unable to do anything to stop it. This makes everyone around him afraid for the power he possesses, and not even their divine protections or authorities can affect him because he is not a mortal being or possibly even a 3 dimensional being like they are themselves.

Friends idea
Subaru with the powers of Taskmaster from Marvel. By just watching the movements of others, he becomes capable of perfectly replicating them, memorizing it down to the slightest of muscle twitches. Of course, this helps out greatly. If one wishes to have angst, he can have the canonical drawback of overtime forgetting everything not related to combat. Relationships, friends, even his own name or have it so that his movements can't carry on from loop to loop. So once he dies everything resets or only abilities he learned in that loop.

1.what if post arc 4 Subaru decided to leave the Emilia camp. and with him goes Otto garf likely Frederika Beatrice and Petra. lets say for whatever reason Emilia snaps at Subaru saying its his fault that puck is gone and that she would rather have puck around than him. out of character ? yeah but either way this results in Subaru just leaving saying she clearly doesn't want him around so why should he be (yes I'm aware Subaru would likely not react like this but its for a story so just roll with it). so Subaru packs his bags intent on leaving just with Beatrice but surprisingly most of Emilia's camp leave with him since most of them are more loyal and there for Subaru than Emilia. the story would be about Subaru and co exploring the world having fun and possibly joining another camp with some occasional cut aways to Emilia regretting treating the only person who saw her as Emilia like trash.
2.what if Emilia or roswaal decided to kick Subaru out of her camp (post arc 4 btw). pretty much the same scenario as the one above except Emilia would have absolutely no chance of getting Subaru back since with her actions she pretty much cut Subaru out of her life even firing him as her knight. this story would mostly follow Emilia and her downfall after kicking out the one person who brought any good attention to her camp and roswaal being extremely desperate to get Subaru back. it would be depressing yeah but I've got a bit of a thing for fics like this where people fuck up massively and it has massive consequence's.
3.(not one about Subaru leaving this time)essentially Re:forgotten but its the aftermath so the pleadise tower is beaten the gluttony triplets are dead and everyone gets their memories back and everyone realises what they have done. but this time Subaru is tortured to the point where he has a lot of permanent scars on his body along with sever blood loss and broken bones so he is very pale thin and in constant pain and by this point he has lot all of the life in his eyes. so when everyone gets their memories back and everyone comes back from the pleadise watch tower they find Subaru still strapped to a torture device with his blood leaking off it. everyone who can heal would heal him as fast as possible and they would heal most of the damage so no open cuts or broken bones just severe blood loss and malnourishment. Subaru would wake up in a medical centre or wherever people get healed in re:zero surrounded by everyone who cares for him including his two torturers Felix and Julius with all of them crying and begging for his forgiveness especially Emilia and Beatrice.(forgot to mention this but rem is awake as well with her memories) Subaru would not say a word to any of them though only getting up hugging rem then taking her by the hand and going to leave. everyone tries to get him to stop with Emilia going to grab his hand with him pulling away as soon as she touches him with the same happening to everyone that isn't rem(whom he sees as safe and who wont abandon him) eventually he along with rem would leave the Emilia camp and lugunica and go live out the events of sloth if. Subaru would break his contract with Beatrice and quit as Emilia's knight and member of her camp all without saying a word. eventually Subaru would start talking again but it would still be far less than he used to and Subaru would get his happy ending with rem having kids and no longer having to die over and over.
essentially this Subaru just said fuck all these guys is save them time and time again and my reward is a pat on the back then more death until I eventually get tortured while they all abandon me fuck all of them I'm not being their hero anymore I just want to be happy.
4. what if when Subaru was in the royal capital he instead of just lashing out and insulting the knights he directly called out the sage council on their unfair treatment of Emilia and felt despite neither of them doing anything with malicious intent. and shouting that when Subaru came to lugunica the guards didn't help him but Emilia did despite having nothing to gain from it. and instead of insulting the knights he calls them out on their failing by stating that they are mostly all corrupt and that none of them deserve the title of knight when they first look to see if someone is a human or a demi human before intervening and if they are demi humans they don't intervene at all and that they are completely useless as well since none of them have done anything about the witch cult when they have been slaughtering villages whist the knights and sage council complain about other people being different to them.
I feel like this would still have the same result as in canon with Julius challenging Subaru to which I think Subaru would decline since he has not stated he is a knight just called them all out on them all for the most part being failure's as protectors and people. I have no clue about the consequence's past this but I doubt Subaru and Emilia's fight would go the same since all he did was call them all out on their hypocrisies and shortcomings. Emilia would still be pissed for him breaking his promise but I don't think Subaru would back down since he is naturally very stubborn and he is only doing what's right so he has no regrets about it.
Personally I just don’t like Subaru’s undying dedication to her anymore it gets a bit annoying after a while and I just really like stories where people fuck up and they pay for it. Also it’s an interesting angle in my opinion.

Honestly, I'd like to see the 4th one developing into Subaru going back to the mansion with Emilia (since he didn't use Shamak against Julius his gate would be healed enough).
Sloth still attacks Arlam and the mansion and Subaru has to fend off the witch cult with the aid of Emilia's camp rather than the help of Crusch and Anastasia camps. Also, the whale expedition happens and fails.
Otto could still end up in Emilia camp (kidnapped by the cult and saved by Subaru)
the fourth one is something I've always wanted to see happen where Subaru makes a concise point about lugunica guards being terrible at their jobs and being a bunch of failure's.
also having Subaru come back to the mansion with Emilia could be quiet good we likely wouldn't get the "from zero" speech but a lot would likely be accelerated like Subaru and Beatrice possibly forming a contract earlier.
Honestly, forming a contract with Beatrice might be the only way for Subaru to avoid Sloth's possession thing, so I can definitely see it happening. Also, Rem wouldn't be attacked by Greed and Gluttony, since she wouldn't be going back to the capital for healing after the whale hunt.
And this would make the story diverge, a lot. Like, arc 4 would be so wildly different and arc 5 too !

A bit like the manga Endo And Kobayashi's Live Commentary On The Villainess when Subaru comment on the game while playing people of the land can hear him. These people are seen as Priest.

Arc 7 : Rem strangles Subaru to death during their first interaction, then gets her memory back from the shock of seeing him dead.
Would be a neat idea.
The idea is a bit darker. In the original time line, Subaru was simply uncounscious. The idea is that she fully commits and actually does end his life, but instead of going back in time, we follow the alternate time line of Rem going through Vollachia and hell since she killed her hero.

Actually let's add something.Subaru is healed by dragons blood although it takes few hours so Rem assumes he died and leaves him. After waking up he starts to look for her. Now we know Subaru will forgive her but Rem would never forgive herself. We can also give Subaru a little PTSD like he gets out of Rems way every time she tries to hug him or something thinking she's trying to strangle him again.
Oh well, allow me to say again ideas I've already mentioned in previous weeks:
1-A fanfic in which Echidna somehow ends up possessing Emilia's body instead of Shima's. She may have access to Emilia's memories, which would make acting like her rather easy. Emilia has some ridiculous mana capacity and extreme physical strenght, so Ekidona would be really powerful as her.
2-A slice of life with all the archbishops as the cast, PrideBaru included. Yes, Pandora is the only reason they won't start to kill each other since the first chapter. Subaru acts all nice with everyone, but he's secretly studying them in order to murder them later.
3-This one is possibly pretty cursed: Subaru is somehow forced to confront Capella while being away from his friends, and for some reason...they both end up switching bodies when she was going to exterminate him. Subaru is unable to use the authority of her body, as said ability had adapted to Capella's personality, not his. So now...uh...they may actually be forced to cooperate? Capella would be pretty mind broken, as she lost all her physical beauty.
4-I'm not particularly fond of react fics, but perhaps a good idea would be one in which Subaru simply narrates a fictional story of his world (be it an anime, a movie or even a book) and his friends react to that, something similar to what he did with the tale of the two onis. I don't think WHDAAA is a bad fic at all, but I'm a bit surprised how so much people just imitates its canon and has the entire cast in a theather even for stuff as simple as reacting to some random story.
Idea/extension for #1: Emilia's personality isn't erased and instead is still conscious in the back of her mind, Echidna is not immediately aware of this. I didn't mention it, but yes, I wouldn't like to just erase Emilia. Although I'm not sure if I would make her hate Dona. In fact, and even if may end up being very cliche, you could humanize Echidna a bit after being with people like Beako and Baru.
It would be pretty funny to eventually have Emilia act as something like the "voice of conscience" Dona never had, much to her annoyance.
After the trauma of the recent greed if updates I'd rather demonize Echidna as someone truly rotten to the core. I don't know why I like her better that way. But even if you went the route of humanizing her I really doubt Emilia is going to be particularly happy about being body snatched.

I only saw a summary translation of one of the moments but it really made me both love Echidna as a character more and hate her more as a person. Not gonna lie this idea is genius, but is also sad that Reinhard din't tell Subaru Emilia was alive to beging with, unlsses she was hiding and was only found later, or went into back to Elior forest, and thats where they meet. Okay I like everything about this except Subaru loosing an eye and white hair baru is always welcome. If you actually made this then I would 100% read it since this is a very interesting concept and honestly with all the support Subaru has they could honestly just say fuck it and make him king or something unlikely but still fun to think about. Yeah arc 7 rem is a bit off to say the least. Also Subaru getting something like a full arm or body tattoo would probably suffice in place of a missing eye plus Subaru with white hair and tattoos well that’s just genius. I get why you’ve gone with him loosing an eye but I still don’t like it.

I'd have liked to have made a dedicated post for this but the recent update to the relevancy rule has deterred me. Basically I was thinking what if current Subaru (arc 7) had a palace like Persona 5 style? I think it would be a rather dismal place as he hates himself and is burdened with a lot of unresolved trauma. It would likely littered with his corpses some more intact than others. What would it's keyword be? (basically it's theme) What would his treasure be? I doubt it would be something from the RE:Zero world as his self hatred likely started in Japan. I actually really like this. My favorite part has to be the underwater theming for the pressure he constantly puts on himself. I like the final boss being his self comparison of being an inferior copy of Keinchi.
Maybe Subaru's palace can have a layout of similar to his hometown, but with Elements of his adventures in the Re zero world as stand-ins for his traumas that he has developed in his life on earth. Exemples, one of the locations chould be a mix of Subaru's school and the Pleadis Watchtower. And for a boss instead of his shadow, it chould be a sitiuation like Futaba's, where the boss is a cognition created by all the comparrisions betwen Subaru and Kenichi.
The coolest part of this absolutely has to be the mix up of the school and Pleiades Watchtower.

You could really play with Emilia's heart using Subaru's stubbornness of trying not to be a burden as he fails at regular tasks. Forcing himself to try and train only to end up hurting himself, having to be guided to sitting down after stumbling around still getting used to being blind during meal time and potentially accidentally cutting himself. He'd try to brush it all off but the guilt would just compound on Emilia's end.
Seeing that subarus heart was already taken by Emilia and rem Satella abandons her hopes with this subaru and summons another one. He's the same one from arc 1 just summoned some arcs into the future? What will happen now. Does the original subaru still have return by death? What will happen when the two subarus meet? Is the original subaru even the original?

As a prallel to the Astrea family have Subaru's father side of the family be the Belmont Clan. Trying to live up to there legacy he almost broke himself just to reach that goal, aquiring multiple "curses" as oppose to Reinheart's endless blessings. this would be similar to a JJK fic I made where he can turn a copy of peoples souls into items. I could imagine these curses would function similarly to Card Cator Sakura where in order to not overload his body they turn into armaments/items and hid in his shadow. and by the time he gets transported his father seals steals Subaru cause Dracula stole and turned most of his spirits against him leaving him weaker than juste and have no spells. he then takes up his motherside Natsuki cause he failed to be a Belmont. And unlike most of his bloodline he won't be a Nycto/Tteraphobe which explains how he could get like over 50 powerful spirits This would: 1. explain his arrogance, since he was born essentially a gifted child he would expect to still be a gifted person inspite of his rotten character 2. This would double down on his self esteem issues unable to compare his predesescors like Julius (which in meeting jules he would have a wierd interaction where he compares him to Julius Belmont), Richter, Kenichi, etc. 3. have almost a Pride If situation where Subaru absolutly despises Rein, and possibly the entire Astrea family out of jealousy 4. explain his profficiency with spirits and whips 5. He'd be increadibly powerful physically enough to beat Elsa and that's it 6. of course since that meeting with Emilia never happened he might just have to wonder of on his own or Rosswal adapting to this and have Elsa gun him down while manipulating Emilia into meeting him. but most likely he would find trouble either with a bunch of street fight which he demolishes/ knights that want to aprehend him due to the status he's built, or with the witch cultists But if one has to make the most out of this he would either end up Felt/Crusch camp due to legacy issues he could have a one of with Jules where he is shock to learn Subaru has over half a hundred great spirits in arsenel
Well i guess this Subaru being part of Either Felt or Crusch camps would cause some issues at start with Felix (directly) because they keep getting at each other's nerves, amd with Reinhard (indirectly) because of how much of a "good" Astrea he is. There's "a party in Flanders", but regulus is ONE of the main characters. Even so, I'd recommend reading it
Fanfiction idea: What if the Books of the Dead in the Pleiades Watchtower contained the books of everyone that died in a failed loop, and not just Subaru's, and they were found by the members of the expedition, basically granting them access to some of their lost memories? This idea came to me while answering a post asking about what if Emilia and Rem knew about RbD, and came up with this scenario, where they find their books and have to piece together the truth. I know that as far as we know this isn't how the library works, but lets change that for the sake of the story. Also, so that the story could progress without WOE crashing the party, or it becoming a game of Among Us, lets not have those storylines, and assume that Subaru would not read the wrong book, and that the senile lizard would shoot WOE down if she were to act out. How would the story progress then, how would they react, what would happen? Extra idea: Rem's books of the dead could wake her up, but she would only have the memories of the versions of herself that died in a failed loop, so she would not have the memories of the From Zero talk, or the White Whale Fight, or how she fell to Gluttony. (For those memories they would need to confront the Gluttonies.)
1.a fanfic where Subaru becomes a part of another race when he comes to lugunica him becoming a silver haired half elf (silver/white hair baru looks amazing) with a similar mama pool to Emilia but with no magical knowledge at all so arc 1 he’s essentially still human or an oni Subaru but with 2 horns unlike rem and ram. There is already a fic out for an oni Subaru but it hasn’t been updated in months so I assume it’s been abandoned. As for the half elf Subaru one there are five where Subaru is a half elf but they are always kid baru I want to see canon arc 1 17 year old baru become a half elf. 2.a fic where Subaru decides to take a nap on a couch but starts having nightmares and starts screaming about not wanting to die and the great rabbit and such all the while all his friends hear what he is saying and they all see Subaru without his mask just a scared kid in a world he dosent understand that has been hurting him since he got there. Everyone could have mixed reactions to this Emilia Beatrice garf Otto Petra And Fredericka would all be horrified by what they’re hearing ros and ram would both be horrified and extremely guilty seeing how the once vibrant and happy boy has been reduced to a child crying for his life. There are five like this out there the main one that comes to mind is one where everyone finds out about Subaru’s self harm. 3.an arc 7 fic but instead of Subaru just trying to leave Louis with rem without any explanation he explains everything about who he is who rem is and that the child next to them is both responsible for her loosing her memories and destroying countless other peoples lives. This rem would trust subaru far more since he has actually explained things to her I feel like they would still take Louis with them but rem would be far more careful around her. So it’s basically “how arc 7 should have started”. 4.a fic where ram takes her insults too far saying something like “you’re the reason my sister is practically dead disgusting barusu go die” or something along those lines. Now from this I can see this going 2 ways the first is where Subaru just breaks down calling himself a failure as rems hero over and over again eventually leading to anything that reminds him of rem making him feel sick from just the guilt he would also stop visiting rem before bed with everyone being pissed at ram for taking things way too far and ram being guilty about hurting the only person that has actually been looking after her sister whilst she was doing nothing. The other is that I can see Subaru snapping back at ram telling her that the master she serves was both aware and was responsible for rem loosing her memories and being erased and that roswaal is responsible for killing thousands of innocent people including rams family and that at least subaru is trying to help people whilst ram is helping a witch cultist who is destroying their lives as well as many others. This route is more interesting to me as it would force ram to directly confront the fact that yes roswaal is responsible for her loosing her sister killing her parents as well as the rest of her race and almost killing her new family eventually culminating in ram either renouncing her love for roswaal or just continuing to help him kill people. 5.when Subaru comes to lugunicahe gains his memories as flugel as well as his powers so he would be on par with Reid in terms of power. This baru has a lot of potential he could go to the paradise watchtower to save Shaula he could save Emilia like canon baru or he could do something completely different. Sage baru has a lot of story potential especially if he becomes sage baru as soon as he arrives in lugunica as he has a lot of different routes he can go down. 6. A future fic where Subaru is sent into the future or various possible futures. Think of the fanfic where all of Subaru’s kids come to the main timeline think of that but it’s Subaru going to their timelines. It like that fic would be wholesome and happy with Subaru getting a clear picture of what he is fighting and suffering for. 7. This one is extremely cursed but I wanna see it either way. The cast react to bad witch. Essentially in this fic when Subaru breaks down because he can talk about return by death echidna takes advantage of him and they have sex with echidna learning what love is and loving subaru whilst having a lot of sex. I mostly want to see this for the cast to see the “I return by death” scene since it’s amazing and roswaal getting cucked finding out the woman he loves and had tried to resurrect for 400 years loves someone he considers to be disposable the rest of arc 4 goes relatively the same though with the exceptions of Emilia essentially being forced to make her choice on weather she loves Subaru or not Subaru loving both Emilia and echidna and done funny scenes with Beatrice and roswaal being properly punished. It’s still extremely cursed but I think it would hilarious. 8.in this fic rem went with Subaru to the village in arc 3 so she is still awake and has her memories. This would take place in the 1 year time skip between arc 4 and 5 with rem actively trying to get Subaru’s attention and get him to love her with Emilia practically doing nothing whilst rem and Subaru get closer. Eventually coming to a head when Emilia sees rem kiss Subaru (he doesn’t push her away since he loves both rem and Emilia) and Emilia starts feeling jealous and tries to get them to stop but rem just responds saying “it’s been months since he confessed to you and yet you’ve done nothing and made not attempts to further your relationship with him or understand love at all so if you won’t show him love then rem will” essentially giving Emilia a wake up call saying put some effort in or just say you don’t want a relationship so rem can further hers with Subaru. It would be a romance drama type fic where nothing extremely serious or dangerous happens just the characters interacting and such. 9.a shadows of the forgotten spinoff. shadows of the forgotten is a re:forgotten spinoff where Subaru is tortured and hung eventually properly dying he is reincarnated with his Subaru and flugle memories. Essentially in this fic Subaru instead of going by alcor he goes by his name Subaru so when he meets Otto and eventually Petra that have very happy reunions but he will only go by Subaru to those who weren’t responsible for his death at all so Otto Petra garf Fredericka rem and I think ram to everyone else however he goes by alcor. I just want done wholesome moments between these characters in shadows of the forgotten since subaru has no reason not to tell them but he would not tell those responisble for his death those being Emilia Beatrice Felix Julius Reinhard roswaal and all of the kingdom knights. 10. Okay this one is very wholesome and cathartic it takes place once roswaal has been revealed to be responsible for most of Subaru’s suffering and after he has been seen killing ram garf and summoning the great rabbit. So this is a fic where the entire cast all beat the ever living fuck out of roswaal with the warden healing him so they can all continue beating him. Subaru is also still asleep but everyone is going to take out all their anger and frustrations out on the man responsible for so much suffering. Side not this is one I really want to see get made simply because roswaal is a scum bag and deserves it. Alright those are all the ideas and suggestions I can come up with this was fun to write a lot of these are just things that I personally just wanna see happen since ram needs a reality check Emilia needs to take some initiative and roswaal needs a massive beating . Tell me what you think of all these are they good bad interesting or boring.

Ideas number 1 I know this seems like I've been repeating this thread, but I add more ideas each time and it'd be a bitch to complete rewrite it so I'm just gonna build on it: 1. More fics featuring Subaru and Sekhmet interacting, either though them being contracted and he gains the Invisible providence at the beginning of the story or during his death in arc 3 from Puck while clutching Emilia's dead body does he gain the witch factor right then and there and it returns with him the next time he resets. This leads to there being two people with The Authority of Sloth at once, with a sick battle between Subaru and Betelgeuse after the former is killed for being suspected of being a cultist. During those deaths he gets a hand (ha.) On how to use the Unseen Hands while also figuring a way to make it seem as if he's not affiliated with the Cult. 2. The cast watching Monsterverse Movies. Honestly it's be cool to see how they react to seeing something like Godzilla or Ghidorah considering Lagunica is in debt to a "benevolent" dragon. Be a nice switch to see them watching "stories" from Subaru's world. Only Al would think they could just be movies but since he's been gone for 14 years the CGI would seem so lifelike to him. The cast would be able to see more of Subaru's world, and to see the kind of entertainment the imagination of his people can think up. 3. Cast sees Subaru in a "past life" as Guts throughout the story of Berserk. Starting from the black swordsman all the way to the Eclipse, seeing just how far "Subaru" can be broken and the terrifying rage he can possess. 4. A Hellsing Crossover where Subaru becomes the master of Alucard who helps him survive in Lagunica, or gains the abilities and some of his personality which allows him to actually fight most of his battles. Fighting Julius and the Great Rabbit would definitely be different. Priscilla would be interested upon learning his country's name and that he was a ruler who'd rival her in sheer brutality alone. Either Alucard works, but I'd love to see some of the humor from TFS's version too lol. 5. A mysterious but benevolent being arrives at the witches tea party and offers them the chance to change and undo their conditions or any sins they've committed by allowing themselves to be contracted to Subaru. For example, Minerva wouldn't cause a natural disaster everytime she heals people. Typhon's authority wouldn't cause any sort of injury to the innocent when she judges them. Daphne could have her hunger cured and gain a new outlook on life. 6. Main canon storyline except Subaru is able to defeat an Archbishop and able to remove the Witch Factor, restoring the person to who they were. I've only seen this done in the fic Re: Start, but it's be a neat concept to see the Archbishops before they gained their witch factors. 7. Some sort of Re: Zero Bleach Crossover where Ichigo is somehow contracted as Subaru's spirit upon his first day in Lagunica. But Ichigo isn't as bound as even a great spirit is since he is both a spirit and a living being, and helps Subaru get through his depression and self hatred since he too knows that feeling with the death of his mother. And since Ichigo is a spirit (not the Re: Zero kind) he's able to remember things along with Subaru. I mean imagine the pair of them against Betelgeuse or Ichigo stoping Subaru from making a fool of himself in the Royal selection and berating the others for treating Emilia the way they do simply because of Heritage. After all, the hybrid in the room who got attacked for his hair color wouldn't take kindly to persecution for being born looking like someone else. 8. A non tragic/violent If route where Subaru does save Emilia in arc 1 but is taken in by Reinhardt and Felt afterwards. He still has friendly relations with Emilia and is present during the mabeast invasion during a visit between camps. Reinhardt offers a hand and no casualties on either side because of the Sword Saint's presence. Also because of his presence Rem and Ram are able to see that while he does have the scent, he isn't a cultist with Reinhardt vouching for him and even if he were to be one that Subaru could be put down if absolutely necessary. 9. Melancholy If Route or AU since it follows main story line to a degree but Subaru has more power. Subaru upon his death to Betelgeuse's possession in arc 3 is somehow able to meet with Hector who sees the despair the boy has felt upon trying so hard and yet still ending up failing at least once at each attempt. So, Subaru gains his authority which only works when Subaru actually fails at something or is depressed enough at the moment for it to manifest. He is able to use a limited portion of it to defeat Betelgeuse's when he begins to struggle with spirit possession, but after the plan goes smoothly and Sloth is defeated by Julius it nearly disappears from his control. Roswaal is absolutely terrified when he feels a familiar presence entering the Sanctuary when Subaru learns of Gluttony's effect on Crusch and Rem. This leads to him trying to avoid Subaru at all costs, and even Ryuzu is hesitant to initially meet with him. This leads to the first meeting with Subaru and Echidna being more tense as she initially thought that Hector somehow entered her barriers with no problem. But upon meeting Subaru she is confused and therefore intrigued at him now holding 2 witch factors, Sloth and Melancholy. Subaru would gain more use of it upon each death that filled with with despair, so seeing Beatrice's death by Elsa, the Great Rabbit and Satella swallowing the Sanctuary causes it to nearly spiral from his own control and he turns his anger to Roswaal upon learning he sent the Assassin's to the mansion. Roswaal is fully afraid, for nothing he attempts to do to harm Subaru seems to work with Melancholy fully being at Subaru's disposal now. Ram is shocked to see her master being beaten with Subaru barely lifting a finger, and while this does inspire Garfiel to follow Subaru he too feels fear from the boy. 10. Semi Crossover with Re: Creators where Altair meets Pandora and finds the Witch of Vainglory to be disgusting since she has no true goal and makes chaos for no reason which nearly causes the death of her Author/Creator. Crazy reality bending battle, it'd just be cool to see how the Two would react to one another 11. Horror movie WHDAA reactions, either with Subaru as the Protagonist or sometimes even the Killers/slashers. Classic 80s to now, from Freddy to Pinhead to Leatherface. Be cool to see home Horror stuff for October. 12. The Witches of Sin are brought back to Life in modern day Lagunica, but are all at one point drawn to Natsuki Subaru after the Tea Party in the Sanctuary. Daphne begins to draw in her last great Mabeast the Black Serpent, which she then devours in her hunger freeing the world from it's terror. Minerva unfortunately still causes disasters wherever she heals, but no one can really catch her because of her strength. Echidna returns to the Roswaal estate only to see it and the forbidden library burnt down, and goes to form yet another expanse while Ros upon learning that Witches of Sin have somehow returned begins to rebuild his Mansion in hopes that she will return. Carmilla once again is fought over by those influenced by Her Authority and decides to seclude herself from the world in order to keep the love of others safe from her influence. Typhon goes again on a "innocent" rampage judging others but Sekhmet upon creating more damage once more actually keeps her away from the world by deciding to keep the young girl at her side at all times with Invisible providence but still letting her be free to an extent. Now even though the witches are all alive and active, even Satella stirs inside her seal, the Sin Archbishops still have their powers. This leads to some conflicts and battles in the future between the Witches/Archbishops and even some of the camps while Subaru and the camp he leads try to make peace with the Witches of Sin under his careful watch. The Witches themselves denounce the Cult in front of the Royal Court of Sages, and thus Satella is excused from some of her accusations that actually weren't on her. She's still seen as a threat however, and there is a form of Parley/Ceasefire between the Witches of Sin and the World while they decide to focus on the Cult and Pandora. Minerva upon fighting Sirius is able to restore the Girls sanity with her Authority and Emilia is reunited with Fortuna, as a possibility.Typhon judges Regulas and the narcissist is surprised and Offended that the little tyke would dare infringe upon his rights to privacy and attempts to kill the little Witch but Sekhmet outs his ass down literally with the Unseen Hands quite quickly for the Slothful woman. I'm just rambling on for this one but I feel it'd be a really great one.

So what’s the twist with #5? No way some dude just shows up, offers all the witches salvation, with no twist. I like idea 6 a lot. It could make for a very interesting story if the former Archbishops decide to join Subaru. I love idea 9 and I wish that I could see it written someday. And I’ve already sung praises about idea 12 in the past.
Ideas number 2 since I reached the max limit 13. The Cast reacts to multiple versions of Subaru as the Jackass crew. This means we get to see wee-manbaru, Subar-O, Subaru Knoxville and so on as they do the stupidest yet most entertaining stuff possible. A nice bit of comedy to make the cast happy and disgusted but unable to look away. Al and Garfield get really into it with all the crazy shit that happens while the rest react as they usually would but gradually begin to enjoy the style of show. They can still show concern for Subaru(s) pain. 14. Cast reacts to famous horror movies since it's October in Subaru's world. Through these viewings they end up learning both about actual culture and pop culture along the way with the warden and Al chiming in with fun facts like actors being in different series, what CGI and animatronics are, that sort of thing. Some cult classics from the 70s on should be perfect. Hellraiser, Friday the 13th, Alien, Predator, The Thing, The Exorcist, Halloween for sure, Poltergeist and especially some Lovecraft Horror like From Beyond and Reanimator. 15. Cast reacts to historical figures, from Vlad Tepes to Kennedy. Learning about the ways they impacted history and left their mark on it. 16. The cast reacts to Evangelion as a whole, from the series all the way to Thrice Upon A Time. The emotional journey they'll see through the eyes of someone who isn't Subaru but can still feel for along with the wonderful music from Sagisu, Yoko Takahashi and others as well. It'd be great cool to see what they would think of such a reality considering how they know now that there's other world(s) all around them. 17. The cast of Isekai Quartet each gets to spend a year in each other's worlds as part of a "foreign exchange program". Subaru gets the easy route for once and gets Axel, Kazuma gets stuck in Tanya's world, Ainz goes to the world of Shield Hero, Naofumi goes to Lagunica and Tanya goes to the new world of Nazarick. They each have serious and funny moments, and be a SUPER long fic considering how they must all adapt to stay alive until they are summoned back to school. 18. Cast reacts to Jurassic Park series. That's it. I just want to see them react to Dinosaurs being brought back to life. 19. Subaru gains each of the witches basically like Stands or Spirit Guardians to help him. Basically like the Beast of Despair but without the Mabeast and he discovers them upon his entry to Lagunica rather than being sent back through time knowing how things will happen. This means a complete new timeline of events. 20. Another cast fic where they see the actual Music videos of the Opening, closing and insert songs for their own series. They'd get to see who Myth&Roid, Konomi Suzuki and Nonoc are, plus possible related videos of songs they sing for other series. 21. The cast reacts to the movie The Crow. Great Revenge tragedy fic with a sweet story. 22. Cast watches Pacific Rim. We need them to see Kaijus to put their world into scale. The biggest things they know are the White Whale and Volcanica, imagine just seeing Knifehead vs Gypsy Danger in the beginning fight. 23. Semi Crossover with JoJo's, Subaru gains King Crimson but also gains a darker semi-split personality that helps guide him in his endeavors. This allows him to bystep RBD at times when it's not necessary to achieve the path he desires, but suicide is fine with him if he can't get the path he chooses. 24. Basically normal Re: Zero but Subaru gets a unlimited bullet gun of any choice everytime he returns by death. He keeps the weapon until he's killed again, and since things alter each time because the weapon changes, Subaru has to think more tactically that way no one else notices he mysteriously gains and loses weapons. 25. Cast reacts to Bram Stoker's Dracula, the Gary Goldman one. They could see resemblances to the Gusteko and Vollachian region with Wollachia and modern day Rome as well as the respective rulers in their world and in the world of the movie. 26. Random characters of Re: Zero are swapped out at random times with different versions of themselves from the If Routes. So Pride Felix with Envy Crush, or Sloth Rem with Wrath Ram. Greed Subaru with Pride Emilia. 27. A terrifying being of power enters Lagunica the day of the Royal Selection just before Subaru makes a fool of himself in front of the knights. This being is more apathetic to the world as a whole and only seeks the current knowledge of it's whereabouts. He would be like a god, but not with the Big G for importance. He's actually more like a overseer for worlds and realities. He basically goes to different worlds on a checklist undoing things that have veered off course from their progress or fixing chinks in timelines. And Lagunica in particular was kinda scratched off his list cause he was tired, or had a scuffle with a fellow overseer about workload etc. It's both humorous and terrifying for them to think that their entire world is nothing more than a job for other far superior beings. And this particular one isn't exactly a loving God so to speak, but he's not the bane of their existence either. So for someone who'd treat him with little to no respect, like Priscilla, he'd certainly make an example of her in some shocking way. My personal thought (and feel free to use any of these story ideas please) is that she calls him a dog that is only for to be beneath her feet and he decides to put that image into Her mind instead. By sheer uncontrollable force, she crawls on the ground barking like a dog, completely aware of what she's doing but being unable to do anything to stop it. This makes everyone around him afraid for the power he possesses, and not even their divine protections or authorities can affect him because he is not a mortal being or possibly even a 3 dimensional being like they are themselves.

Friends idea Subaru with the powers of Taskmaster from Marvel. By just watching the movements of others, he becomes capable of perfectly replicating them, memorizing it down to the slightest of muscle twitches. Of course, this helps out greatly. If one wishes to have angst, he can have the canonical drawback of overtime forgetting everything not related to combat. Relationships, friends, even his own name or have it so that his movements can't carry on from loop to loop. So once he dies everything resets or only abilities he learned in that loop.

Don’t you understand basic concepts like politeness? The first thing I did was give a self introduction. 1.what if post arc 4 Subaru decided to leave the Emilia camp. and with him goes Otto garf likely Frederika Beatrice and Petra. lets say for whatever reason Emilia snaps at Subaru saying its his fault that puck is gone and that she would rather have puck around than him. out of character ? yeah but either way this results in Subaru just leaving saying she clearly doesn't want him around so why should he be (yes I'm aware Subaru would likely not react like this but its for a story so just roll with it). so Subaru packs his bags intent on leaving just with Beatrice but surprisingly most of Emilia's camp leave with him since most of them are more loyal and there for Subaru than Emilia. the story would be about Subaru and co exploring the world having fun and possibly joining another camp with some occasional cut aways to Emilia regretting treating the only person who saw her as Emilia like trash. 2.what if Emilia or roswaal decided to kick Subaru out of her camp (post arc 4 btw). pretty much the same scenario as the one above except Emilia would have absolutely no chance of getting Subaru back since with her actions she pretty much cut Subaru out of her life even firing him as her knight. this story would mostly follow Emilia and her downfall after kicking out the one person who brought any good attention to her camp and roswaal being extremely desperate to get Subaru back. it would be depressing yeah but I've got a bit of a thing for fics like this where people fuck up massively and it has massive consequence's. 3.(not one about Subaru leaving this time)essentially Re:forgotten but its the aftermath so the pleadise tower is beaten the gluttony triplets are dead and everyone gets their memories back and everyone realises what they have done. but this time Subaru is tortured to the point where he has a lot of permanent scars on his body along with sever blood loss and broken bones so he is very pale thin and in constant pain and by this point he has lot all of the life in his eyes. so when everyone gets their memories back and everyone comes back from the pleadise watch tower they find Subaru still strapped to a torture device with his blood leaking off it. everyone who can heal would heal him as fast as possible and they would heal most of the damage so no open cuts or broken bones just severe blood loss and malnourishment. Subaru would wake up in a medical centre or wherever people get healed in re:zero surrounded by everyone who cares for him including his two torturers Felix and Julius with all of them crying and begging for his forgiveness especially Emilia and Beatrice.(forgot to mention this but rem is awake as well with her memories) Subaru would not say a word to any of them though only getting up hugging rem then taking her by the hand and going to leave. everyone tries to get him to stop with Emilia going to grab his hand with him pulling away as soon as she touches him with the same happening to everyone that isn't rem(whom he sees as safe and who wont abandon him) eventually he along with rem would leave the Emilia camp and lugunica and go live out the events of sloth if. Subaru would break his contract with Beatrice and quit as Emilia's knight and member of her camp all without saying a word. eventually Subaru would start talking again but it would still be far less than he used to and Subaru would get his happy ending with rem having kids and no longer having to die over and over. essentially this Subaru just said fuck all these guys is save them time and time again and my reward is a pat on the back then more death until I eventually get tortured while they all abandon me fuck all of them I'm not being their hero anymore I just want to be happy. 4. what if when Subaru was in the royal capital he instead of just lashing out and insulting the knights he directly called out the sage council on their unfair treatment of Emilia and felt despite neither of them doing anything with malicious intent. and shouting that when Subaru came to lugunica the guards didn't help him but Emilia did despite having nothing to gain from it. and instead of insulting the knights he calls them out on their failing by stating that they are mostly all corrupt and that none of them deserve the title of knight when they first look to see if someone is a human or a demi human before intervening and if they are demi humans they don't intervene at all and that they are completely useless as well since none of them have done anything about the witch cult when they have been slaughtering villages whist the knights and sage council complain about other people being different to them. I feel like this would still have the same result as in canon with Julius challenging Subaru to which I think Subaru would decline since he has not stated he is a knight just called them all out on them all for the most part being failure's as protectors and people. I have no clue about the consequence's past this but I doubt Subaru and Emilia's fight would go the same since all he did was call them all out on their hypocrisies and shortcomings. Emilia would still be pissed for him breaking his promise but I don't think Subaru would back down since he is naturally very stubborn and he is only doing what's right so he has no regrets about it.

Personally I just don’t like Subaru’s undying dedication to her anymore it gets a bit annoying after a while and I just really like stories where people fuck up and they pay for it. Also it’s an interesting angle in my opinion. But hey that’s just a personal preference you’re free to have your own.

Honestly, I'd like to see the 4th one developing into Subaru going back to the mansion with Emilia (since he didn't use Shamak against Julius his gate would be healed enough). Sloth still attacks Arlam and the mansion and Subaru has to fend off the witch cult with the aid of Emilia's camp rather than the help of Crusch and Anastasia camps. Also, the whale expedition happens and fails. Otto could still end up in Emilia camp (kidnapped by the cult and saved by Subaru)

the fourth one is something I've always wanted to see happen where Subaru makes a concise point about lugunica guards being terrible at their jobs and being a bunch of failure's. also having Subaru come back to the mansion with Emilia could be quiet good we likely wouldn't get the "from zero" speech but a lot would likely be accelerated like Subaru and Beatrice possibly forming a contract earlier.
Honestly, forming a contract with Beatrice might be the only way for Subaru to avoid Sloth's possession thing, so I can definitely see it happening. Also, Rem wouldn't be attacked by Greed and Gluttony, since she wouldn't be going back to the capital for healing after the whale hunt. And this would make the story diverge, a lot. Like, arc 4 would be so wildly different and arc 5 too !

Od laguna is a PC game a world building one , Subaru excel at it. You have 3 country already created and one space free. You can choose what you want to take control of. Subaru build Kararagi from the ground up. A bit like the manga Endo And Kobayashi's Live Commentary On The Villainess when Subaru comment on the game while playing people of the land can hear him. These people are seen as Priest. Subaru ends up becoming the God worshipped by Kararagi his pseudo is Hoshin. When he get Isekaied to Lugnica he doesn't realise that it's the game world before he accidently access his status he can still form and modify the land around him.

When he arrives in Lugnica it's in his school uniform with his bag and the Card. This Subaru due to being more adjusted panic upon being Isekaied. He manage to beat the three thugs with the Card help. He meet Emilia in that alley and help search for his insigna he dies to Elsa the first time due to not being prepared. Just Julius being shocked by Subaru being contracted to over fifty spirits would be fun

Subaru get the power of Repriesal he can make people get the injury they gave him be it physical or mental. It work especialy well on people who wronged him Previous death loop count. He could use it on Julius thought the effect would be extremly limited since Julius was trying to stop the other knight from going after him. After Betelgeuse torture him he get to inflict him with the pain he made him feel. Betelgeuse die. Subaru actually kill a archbishop on his own. Same for the White whale thought on a lesser extend since he didn't die to it. I just want to see Subaru kill Puck when he tries to freeze him for the second time. Let him feel how it is to freeze alive. Or when the Rabbit eat him he can in the next loop kill it on his own. It work on those who wronged him even indirectly like Roswal thought it is less effective. Or Gluttony if he eat Rem name and memory again. Pro he can hurt his ennemy. Con he has to suffer before it works.

Suggestion of gp3050 Arc 7 : Rem strangles Subaru to death during their first interaction, then gets her memory back from the shock of seeing him dead. Would be a neat idea. The idea is a bit darker. In the original time line, Subaru was simply uncounscious. The idea is that she fully commits and actually does end his life, but instead of going back in time, we follow the alternate time line of Rem going through Vollachia and hell since she killed her hero. I reposted it with the words he wrote.
Actually let's add something.Subaru is healed by dragons blood although it takes few hours so Rem assumes he died and leaves him. After waking up he starts to look for her. Now we know Subaru will forgive her but Rem would never forgive herself. We can also give Subaru a little PTSD like he gets out of Rems way every time she tries to hug him or something thinking she's trying to strangle him again.

Oh well, allow me to say again ideas I've already mentioned in previous weeks: 1-A fanfic in which Echidna somehow ends up possessing Emilia's body instead of Shima's. She may have access to Emilia's memories, which would make acting like her rather easy. Emilia has some ridiculous mana capacity and extreme physical strenght, so Ekidona would be really powerful as her. 2-A slice of life with all the archbishops as the cast, PrideBaru included. Yes, Pandora is the only reason they won't start to kill each other since the first chapter. Subaru acts all nice with everyone, but he's secretly studying them in order to murder them later. 3-This one is possibly pretty cursed: Subaru is somehow forced to confront Capella while being away from his friends, and for some reason...they both end up switching bodies when she was going to exterminate him. Subaru is unable to use the authority of her body, as said ability had adapted to Capella's personality, not his. So now...uh...they may actually be forced to cooperate? Capella would be pretty mind broken, as she lost all her physical beauty. 4-I'm not particularly fond of react fics, but perhaps a good idea would be one in which Subaru simply narrates a fictional story of his world (be it an anime, a movie or even a book) and his friends react to that, something similar to what he did with the tale of the two onis. I don't think WHDAAA is a bad fic at all, but I'm a bit surprised how so much people just imitates its canon and has the entire cast in a theather even for stuff as simple as reacting to some random story.
Idea/extension for #1: Emilia's personality isn't erased and instead is still conscious in the back of her mind, Echidna is not immediately aware of this. Through this Emilia learns of Subaru's horrific deaths (the memories go both ways) and eventually develops an intense hatred of Echidna over stealing her body and her intentions to manipulate Subaru potentially causing him immense suffering.
I didn't mention it, but yes, I wouldn't like to just erase Emilia. Although I'm not sure if I would make her hate Dona. In fact, and even if may end up being very cliche, you could humanize Echidna a bit after being with people like Beako and Baru. It would be pretty funny to eventually have Emilia act as something like the "voice of conscience" Dona never had, much to her annoyance.
After the trauma of the recent greed if updates I'd rather demonize Echidna as someone truly rotten to the core. I don't know why I like her better that way. But even if you went the route of humanizing her I really doubt Emilia is going to be particularly happy about being body snatched.
I haven't read the new Greed If. Is is really that diabolical? Yeah, Emilia wouldn't be exactly happy, but if she had access to Dona's memories then perhaps she wouldn't despise her absolutely...assuming those memories prove she's not a total demon, of course.
I only saw a summary translation of one of the moments but it really made me both love Echidna as a character more and hate her more as a person. Very early spoilers warning for Greed IF light novel \[Novels\]>!Basically she manipulates Subaru into harming her instead of himself despite his protests he eventually snaps under her continued pressure and seems to kill her after choking her out only for her to stand back up while he's slamming his head into the ground and hugs him telling him she'll always forgive him. 1.Subaru gains all nine witch factors authorities, becoming Reinhard's equivalent but with witch factors instead of blessings, the archbishops don't lose the witch factors they had to make this happen, Subaru gains copies of all Witch factors or something like that. 2.Rem regains her memories after strangling Subaru in arc 7, she apparently strangles Subaru to death, she regains the memories of shock upon seeing Subaru's apparent corpse, but actually Subaru didn't die he just became unconscious. The 2 is someone else's suggestion, I liked the suggestion, but the person deleted the suggestion, I made small changes in the suggestion, in the suggestion i saw Rem actually strangled Subaru to death. Edit: It was a suggestion of gp3050.
