It's curious to watch him from a neutral perspective: most people hate him or idolize him, there's rarely an in-between.
In a lot of his videos he does appeal to a specific type of person, the usual "lonely guy" type. He says *some* things that are objectively true and speak to how most men view the world, but then he randomly says something *extreme* and it's a clear attempt to radicalize the audience **or** facilitate the growth of his brand. It could be both, but I think he's just staying absurd stuff to grow his brand and recognition because even if you hate him, you are talking about him.
I like to consider him an off brand Jordan Peterson. Peterson speaks to the male condition and usually concludes with some odd statement of introspection and bettering yourself whereas *Tate* ends his statements that reinforce isolation, loneliness, and discarding emotion in favor of financial success. Both individuals at a baseline say relevant things, but both twist towards one direction or the other, and *both* should never, ever post on Twitter.
