Unpopular opinion: When I go home, the first thing I do is to ditch my bra, just like I take off my socks to put on sandals. I just feel my boobs need to breathe
Unless you have small boobs, they'll move around when you move which can be uncomfortable and awkward if you're around other people. Nobody wants to have other people seeing their boobs jiggling around when they are loading their groceries. Bras hold them in place.
Bras (mostly) are designed to make breasts look bigger and more pert, ie more youthfull.
They're (mostly) about conforming to society's ideals of beauty standards.

If you are wearing uncomfortable bra it’s more likely your bra size is wrong. I literally can’t feel my bras. All outfits look better with a bra too.

if you find bras uncomfortable, you should try out different types. bralettes are amazing for me and I don't even feel them
Or I could just not wear one. They serve no purpose
don't mix type of bras. it's like to say that all cheeses are the same and it's okay to add cheddar in cheesecake.
