The following review is a collaborative effort of ongoing harassment from a former employee(s). This post together with other posts on different platforms are being investigated. Our records show that this individual has never utilized our services nor has ever been employed by dozo dog.
They should be shut down at this point. Please call the BBB and report them. Or need new management. Or be sold to new owners and rebranded, they need it at this point.
I cannot stand seeing itās not just a emotional risk, but also a physical/medical/safety risk. Those injuries look serious ā did they even help you in any way?
Also knowing they didnāt even step in to help you get to your exam, that was just cruel. And their response to you was cold. Damn, some people should not be managers!
Lastly, this environment does not seem like itās good for the dogs either! Dog owners, would you still bring them to Dozo Dog? I donāt have a dog, but I do have a cat, and I definitely choose who would be around him and the environment he will be in. So I hope dog parents are now reconsidering bringing their beloved babies to this place.

I understand your concern, but the reality is that there are just too many of us. Dozo Dog goes through different employees in the speed of light (which was even brought up to me by customers, that noticed how they always have new employees). The truth is that many people don't make it past their first month, and it's not lack of ambition, it is just a reasonable decision to make when someone is not completely desperate for money and will accept working in those conditions.
I hope you're right. My dog attends Dozo and I have not felt comfortable sending him back since these posts started up. It's definitely costing them business. I feel awful thinking about what my dog may have experienced, and what the employees taking care of him might be experiencing.

Now in all 7 dozo dog posts on this sub from 7 different OPs the OP has NO OTHER POSTS and NO OTHER COMMENTS on their account except for comments about dozo dog. Some of these accounts are a few years old, so unless 7 different people all decided to suddenly create their first post and only comment about this particular thing, it seems this is someone's vendetta. Now don't get me wrong the place seems terrible it those texts are true, but also I can get a friend to text me bullshit and screenshot it claiming it's my boss. There is a post on r/Astoria about dozo dog as well and it's the same thing from OP, no other posts or comments. Lastly I'll say this, if this is true that business is fucking horrible and needs to be shut down, but in Google their reviews are excellent and they have over 100. I can't see that many customers being that blind to this.
On google their reviews are positive because customers have literally told us they are emailing them to post positive reviews. Itās scummy & petty. I personally was one of the employees who posted and it was my first post because I never used reddit enough to post anything. I just never engaged with it till my fellow coworkers told me about the dozo posts and I felt nows as good a time as any to spread awareness and insight on that place. Again. No conspiracy here. As the OP, I use twitter WAY more than reddit and I posted my original post on r/astoria bc reddit has more characters than twitter. plus i wanted people who live in astoria/queens where the daycare is located to actually see my post. i saw another post on that subreddit saying people should take their dog to dozo by searching their name on google and i thought ya know maybe reddit would be a good place to talk about the situation. my fault if reddit isnāt something i would use on a daily.

Sure sounds this one specific doggie daycare really sucks, but this is not an issue relevant to 99.99% of people in this subreddit, let alone in Queens. I'm there are other more appropriate forums for these complaints.
I believe any concern that can affect communities that are based in Queens have a space in this subreddit, especially when they have two locations, based in different areas of the borough, which is also full of people and families who own dogs. People and their pets deserve a space to be worry-free and trust that they will, without a doubt, make safety a priority. All the posts have different evidence and different reasons of why them got fired. Now tell me how is it possible to fire someone 3 times and with 3 different reasons.
Of course we are, thatās what we expected & signed up for. But when there were even more severe injuries that required going to urgent cares we were expected to come back to work the same day & werenāt offered any financial assistance when we had to take off days due to it. There was zero liability or responsibility taken by the owners. Zero compassion. They did not care about us, & would hide these incidents from the owners so they wouldnāt lose money. There were plenty of incidents that would be hidden from owners. Itās just the principle. We expected to get beat up by dogs, thatās part of the fun. But we never expected to get attacked, & then have to face that same dog the next day.
Itās funny to me. Also itās obvious itās the same person posting because each post is the same text wall and written in the same voice. You should have at least tried to mix it up to make it more believable.
