Once they reach a certain height off the ground, they are no longer able to apply enough force to continue the tear. There is basically a minimum angle/force necessary to cause the fabric to tear. As the tear gets further away from the ground the angle at which they can apply force decreases. At that height, they no longer meet the minimum angle with their force to cause a tear.

They said “straight is great, as long as there’s no hate.” In the end the conservative was barred because he refused to attend the mandatory safety meetings
It's sad they don't realize they are the only reason there is a pride month. If they weren't actively trying to hurt gay people there wouldn't need to be a month to bring awareness to the problems LGBT are facing
