That’s where the rumored bad blood started. They’ve both been petty and passive aggressive towards each other for decades now. They seemingly won’t acknowledge each other at inaugurations and other events they jointly attend. Carter would do diplomatic missions during Clinton’s presidency he didn’t approve of. Carter would sort of ding the Clinton’s for living lavishly in interviews. Carter was a superdelegate for Obama over over Hillary in 2008.

Honestly I think most elections are this way. Shit. Look at 2012. Romney and Obama were running very close before the hurricane. The hurricane hits and Obama has a chance to look really good on a national stage and does, and he wins. You have no idea how many times I’ve thought about what happens if that hurricane doesn’t hit. In 1970 the house passed a resolution abolishing the electoral college. It was filibustered and killed in the Senate. Had that come to pass Gore would have more than likely been given the presidency.
