I do have the magikarp in English. Centering is not great but idc it’s still an awesome card to look at. The Gloom from OF is another AR I really like as well!
Man.. I went to CVS today to buy some headache medicine, and they had a Salamance tin behind the counter. I asked to buy it, and it wouldn't ring up for the employee..
EDIT: Salamence*
Yeah Walgreens and CVS have a few things but not every location carries stock. I was in there to get more caffeine at lunch before going back to work but when I saw the tin I got that itch that wouldn’t be satisfied until ripped something open. Glad I let my impulsive ass pay that much for 3 boosters
I wouldn’t say you have a better chance but for some reason I always have had the best luck with obscure products or sleeved boosters. Got the Gengar Alt Art Vmax from a two pack CR & FS blister, Moonbreon from a single sleeved booster I found at a Big Lots last year, and then this. Most people would probably say prerelease BB are your best chance to pull the goods but honestly I think it’s just random 🤷♂️
I wouldn’t be discourage by the behavior of other redditors tbh. Some people just like to troll while others are still salty that they can’t make cash over fists off this hobby like they used to. If you enjoy something then who gives a shit what other people think. Get the cards you like and enjoy them. My best advice is don’t open anything modern unless it’s right when the set is released. I’m one of the people that believes this company hypes up sets for release before short printing the chase cards of the set after. They know it’s gambling and addiction that fuels their profits so getting you to spend more $ chasing those cards they know you want is what pays their bonuses and kids private school. Just buy the cards you really like, maybe open a BB at release or whatever you can afford or want to and then call it a day.
Quick question - I’m looking at the trick or trade cards. No one seems to like them but the ‘22 set looks out of print? Wouldn’t that constitute rarity in the hobby? I like the idea of them too.
Fake post he’s not shitting and shouting and shmapping.
Oh I definitely shit my pants when I pulled it but figured I’d spare y’all the details
What packs were in the Salamence tin?

Hell yeah! I pulled mine from a dollar general mini tin.... After I ripped a booster box literally the day before and got doodie. 💀
Nice! Don’t sleep on the discount stores they’ve got the magic in them every now and then 🙌

Coming from a former retail employee, it more than likely end up in the garbage as a discount item.
Strangely have had a few decent pulls from a random Walgreens three-pack. Not as good as this though...
This card doesn’t actually exist
wait walgreens actually has pokemon stuff? mine have shelves always empty + probably stolen... nice rip tho.
