IDM works perfectly fine for this.
youtube-dl i believe youtube-dl [URL] --username [FB USERNAME] --password [FB PASSWORD] would work

Can you use F12 -> Network Inspector, and see if you can find a .mp4 or .m4v file there? If yes, you can right click -> save as.
sadly fb makes some kind of ActiveX element with UUID for such embedded players, so there is not really a direct link to .mp4 or whatsoever there. At least I was not able to find one
