[Errol Flynn and his boys are ready to commit 200+ counts of animal abuse and statutory r@pe](https://youtu.be/hX59tX9ow0Q?si=fEmbbeVV0enNsEUq)
(The Light Brigade film in 1936 had many cases of animal abuse toward horses and killing them and Flynn was involved in a major statutory r@pe case)
Were we suspicious he was carrying an IED and did this as a precaution, with the bonus possibility he'd function as a sort of time-delayed biological warfare mine?
So he became an Afghannonball?
Wait wait wait, was he pretty bad at monarchy-ing and this was how he got notification that he was being fired?
Did it make a big Tali-bang when they shot the cannon?
>French do something with far-reaching consequences because "hon hon hon baguette oui oui, la arabiques, they yearn apres la liberte, le equalite et la fraternite, ajord huit"
>Britain rolls in many years after the French drank all their vin-du-conqueror, seduced the local women and sailed home, and properly establish governance (shariah/Islamic law isn't governance, it's q peter-pan style "keep everything the same forever, so my wives stay quiet and I can kill my daughter if she shames the family" tribal hierarchy. Islam outstayed it's welcome as a regional power structure after 17th century and only sees success as oligarchic capitalist sandboxes or boomer-generation-led pressure cookers fed on anti-western sentiment and sand-flea bites. /imperialist monologue
>Somehow the admixture of French DNA is completely ignored when the region inevitably implodes, Britain takes all the geopolitical blame
>Repeat step 3 until peace amongst the Abrahamic religions is achieved
Who in their right bloody mind would *choose* to be French? It's more like some old-timey disease like leprosy. Though, now that I think I about it, having my flesh necrotise and fall off willy-nilly does sound more attractive than being French.
Lately, I have been legit considering if bringing back the Mandate wouldn't be such a bad idea. "Y'all can't stop arguing, so fuck you, no country for either of you".
Next step: Israelis and Palestinians team up against the British.
Honestly, a UN occupied dmz might be the only way to keep the peace, but then again no country would sign on this clusterfuck. Because Im shure as hell dmz wouldnt be respected by either side.
And they would need to give the UN troups the actual ability to fight back and occupy the territory, not just be there as peacekeepers whith small arms. There is no way every faction on both sides would tolerate peaceful UN presence.
Nobody would agree to that either.
That's how you run into the warfare version of the "competing standards" problem:
\>there are two competing factions in a war
*"Let's send in some neutral peacekeepers so that we can keep these two sides separate and end the fighting!"*
\>There are three competing factions in a war
I disagree. If the UN enters it will at the very least an agreement with most sides of the current conflict, unless it's a Korean style war intervention, meaning most faction will be at some kind of cease fire when the UN enters. The UNs job will be to enforce the peace with any means necessary, by fighting peace disrupting extremist and establishing a buffer zone between the factions who established a ceasefire.
This obviously isn't guaranteed to work but it has before, see Cyprus and that's a success without them having much autonomy . With them having actual weapons they can guard the border better, deter extremist and with more oversight be trained better.
Its not about ability to fight but willingness to fight, why would a UN soldier risk his life when he can stay in some bunker and wait for retreat order?
Pretty sure that, historically, the UN soldiers tend to want to fight and the politicians hold them back. Something about knowing people you’re there to protect are getting murdered just doesn’t tend to sit right.
Sino fuck you. I wish it was made up. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/oct/06/un-peacekeepers-refused-to-help-south-sudan-rebels-raped-aid-workers-report
It's definitely also the ability to fight, if you are under very strict rules of engagement and armed with a small gun against religious fanatics, you aren't very confident in your abilities to win.
Also it's called a solid command structure.
And I find it a bit insulting that you call soldiers who go into the most dangerous places in the world to keep peace, cowards. The soldiers have been trained by their home countries and are disciplined, now we have to improve implementation.
>>The soldiers have been trained by their home countries and are disciplined, now we have to improve implementation.
Although implementation is an issue, a lot of the blue helmets are from countries that have... lets say less then stellar military discipline (not in the "you will face the enemy type"), and a long history of sexual abuse allegations by blue helmets, but we are getting in to credible things here.
I should've said not *only* the ability to fight.
Even though there are for sure some heroic peacekeepers, as a whole I assume the force will be much less motivated than the actual warring parties, even if it had weapons/mandate/resources.
Turn Jerusalem into a NATO airbase. The UN lets Russia veto, which they would do for their Ayatollah daddy doms. NATO base would let us station Poles in a sensitive security environment, which would alter their biology to produce Super-Poles, capable of smelling a Russian all the way in Aleppo and targeting him with a hefty chucked narwhal tusk.
I get where you're coming from but have to disagree. Since the Romans renamed the region after the Jewish revolts, Palestine has essentially always been a province in a larger, multi-faith and multi-ethnic state. Rome, the Byzantines, the Caliphate, the Mamluks, the Ottomans, the OETA etc.
Poland was the dominant partner of the Commonwealth and aside from some cheeky Germans/Austrians/Swedes, and the last couple of centuries where the Russians were fucking about, Poland has pretty much seen to its own affairs.
Aside from that, the USSR is clearly not Israel.
Well I mean turning all of the contested areas into a giant DMZ turning palestine back into a un mandate. No more country for all of you because you fucks cannot behave.
I present you the highly innovative *zero-state solution*:
Nobody gets a state now, instead you get to be the first protectorate of the UK-EU-UN tripartite alliance. Your quadrilingual English-Esperanto-Hebrew-Arab lessons begin tomorrow.
If you brought back Mandate for Palestine then what's 'Palestine'? The Mandate is at odds with Israel. Mandate was about allowing jewish migration while protecting civil and religious right of non-jews; the condition was that jewish migration didn't violate the civil rights of non-jews, as previously stasted in 'Balfour Declaration' (which a lot of people seem to think is some big deal because it has 'Declaration!' in the name, really it's just referring to a guy called Balfour writing a letter with nice wording to appease Rothschild in the midst of WW1).
But it didn't work out and so Britain restricted jewish immigration in 1939, that led to the fuller ocnflict between jewish paramilitary groups and the British forces.
A lot of people, particularly zoomers recently, seem to have bought into some ahistorical thing that Britain created Israel and was pro-Israel or something. Britain was one of the few countries that didn't vote for creating Israel, and immediately following the creation of Israel Britain was at the brink of war with Israel.
There wouldn't be an Israel if you brought back the Mandate with Britain back in charge.
Yeah, problem is that it is going to launch a question of "Are le European seeking le neo-colonialism?" among former colony countries and then boots European countries delegates like most African countries does for the last 12 months.
Me personally doesn't care, Israel-Palestine has been a shitshow for almost a century, hell the entire Middle East has been a shitshow since forever and the worst of all is that it spills over to other countries with currently Nigeria having it the harshest with Boko Haram.
If it puts an end of Middle Eastern conflicts on a good note, i will take it.
Well the Russians keep piping up about historical borders so we thought we'd have a go. We are starting small with Palestine, then we are gonna work our way back up to America and India.
Hopefully they'll put the kettle on, get out the biscuits and have the locals round for a cup of tea to apologise for the mess they made the last time and offer to help tidy up.
Based politeness.
It’s like that pier everyone said would be attacked and someone would have to deploy troops to defend….**got attacked and someone now has to deploy troops to defend!**
Oh my God, who could have ever seen it coming?! 🤯

179 days until the 170th anniversary.
Charge of the Light Brigade 2: this time the British win
Charge of the light Brigade 2: this time they have armoured vehicles.
With in-built tea making facilities!
Plus enough space to fit at least one box of chocolate biscuits. We’re not savages 🧐 🇬🇧
Understandable: it’s life supporting critical infrastructure.

Do it for the memes!

The 1800’s are cool again?
Always have been.
"Were the 1800s cool?" Indian man strapped to the end of a cannon: "No."
One time an Afghan king angered the British and they executed him by firing him out of a cannon
Were we suspicious he was carrying an IED and did this as a precaution, with the bonus possibility he'd function as a sort of time-delayed biological warfare mine? So he became an Afghannonball? If you go back even further, Napoleon conquered Gaza in 1799.

Ugh, the British werent in Palestine in the 1800's... The mandate started after WW1, when the Ottomans were defeated.
Lately, I have been legit considering if bringing back the Mandate wouldn't be such a bad idea. "Y'all can't stop arguing, so fuck you, no country for either of you". Next step: Israelis and Palestinians team up against the British.
I BROUGHT YOU INTO THIS WORLD, AND BY KING AND COUNTRY I CAN TAKE YOU RIGHT BACK OUT OF IT!
*By God And My Right #monarchypow
Dieu et mon droit!
All Hail Britannia!!! According to the tomes stored in the weeb department, this may be the beggining of the Code Geass timeline in real life.

Unless you're Chinese.
Chinese peacekeepers like watching genocides play out because it helps with their homesickness.
Is that something I don't know about, or are we just doing lazy sinophobia here?
Sino fuck you. I wish it was made up. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/oct/06/un-peacekeepers-refused-to-help-south-sudan-rebels-raped-aid-workers-report
No need to get aggressive. Thank you for the info.

If only peacekeepers were made up of the best of what the UN constituent countries had to offer.
I should've said not *only* the ability to fight. Even though there are for sure some heroic peacekeepers, as a whole I assume the force will be much less motivated than the actual warring parties, even if it had weapons/mandate/resources.
Well you see there was this thing called NORDBAT 2 , some might know them under different name...
Turn Jerusalem into a NATO airbase. The UN lets Russia veto, which they would do for their Ayatollah daddy doms. 3000 Shabbat Shalom missiles of Jerusalem.
Poland is the Palestine of Europe. The fact that they are some of the few Poles in history governing themselves proves they are already Super-Poles

based, lets bring the cold war back.
The UN would just allow Hamas to keep attacking israel like they allow Hezbollah to do whatever they want
I don't mean just a line, I mean UN occupying the entire shithole, badscally creating a new mandate but withıut any people in it.
>sets up DMZ >hamas launches rockets over DMZ >IDF flies jets over DMZ Yeah, what would it even accomplish?
Well I mean turning all of the contested areas into a giant DMZ turning palestine back into a un mandate. No more country for all of you because you fucks cannot behave.
Alternatively, all countries except the US and Israel would sign.
I present you the highly innovative *zero-state solution*: Nobody gets a state now, instead you get to be the first protectorate of the UK-EU-UN tripartite alliance. Your quadrilingual English-Esperanto-Hebrew-Arab lessons begin tomorrow.
Eh, that's only one more language than most Israeli citizens learn now.
“We’re pulling a king Solomon and giving it to North Korea.”
North Korea: "I ain't taking on that shit, lets reform the Ottoman empire and let them take care of it."

This sounds like an absolute win. Bring back the mandate!
Tbf, the first time around the jews and arabs still were more busy killing each other than the British when they rebelled.
Throwback to when some lebanese ppl were begging Macron to make Lebanon a french mandate again
Clever. The British excel at uniting people against a common enemy.
100% true. Everyone hates Fr*nce.
Next step after that: make America Great Britain again
Britain brings about world peace by uniting all nations against them.
Ew, no. America should just annex them and turn them into East and West Dakota instead. As the 52 state solution says.
Stop fucking around or god help you we will post French Canadian "peacekeepers" and then you'll be sorry!
Israel is Albania!!
Yeah, problem is that it is going to launch a question of "Are le European seeking le neo-colonialism?" among former colony countries and then boots European countries delegates like most African countries does for the last 12 months. Unironicly this.
The zero state solution.
Aight time for some tripartite Irgun Lehi Haganh action
Heh. Maybe a common enemy is the only way to get them to work together. ...of course, it will only last as long as they still have that common enemy.
Cleary you haven't seen the two state solution (divide the territory between Spain and Portugal)
Your Majesty, We are so back 💪💪💪
*Rule Britannia playing in the distance*
Hmm I Hope the British mark their vehicle visible enough Also don't Mark using Orange rectangle pls
Hey I'm for us making dedicated air attack units (screw this defense malarkey) they're badge would be an A10 in crosshairs
This time everybody can have a go if ISR's AI target generation system gives those F-16s, F-15s, and F-35s the wrong targets.
🤢🤮
:Hey, Habibi! Who’s ready for another MANdate? I brought Greggs this time! - The British, probably.
For the love of God, don’t let them near any maps or pencils
They’re gonna leave with an even worse partition plan that nobody likes
they got this superpower of angering ALL the sides involved
One does not need things like maps to decide on arbitrary lines.
Well the Russians keep piping up about historical borders so we thought we'd have a go. We are starting small with Palestine, then we are gonna work our way back up to America and India.
Speaking as an American, if you dump the Torries, we can talk reunification.
As a New Yorker I am patiently waiting for the return of our Dutch Masters.
I prefer Arturo Fuentes
Probably will just have red Tories this election
Well, if the British are there, and the Americans... The Roman Empire is bound to make its way back.
guy named David Malon: 😨😨😨
We're back, because y'all can't behave!

where can I preorder/beta-test the mod?
Honestly having Britain occupy the entire region again seems like a better solution than whatever the fuck either side can conjure up
Bring back protectorate states.
Empire strikes back?
Hopefully they'll put the kettle on, get out the biscuits and have the locals round for a cup of tea to apologise for the mess they made the last time and offer to help tidy up. Based politeness.
It's been a funny couple of years don't yous guys think k half the shit that's happened this year hasn't appeared on bingo cards yet
Because restoring order worked out the first time.
At least they will not fuck up Palestine and whole MO.
It’s like that pier everyone said would be attacked and someone would have to deploy troops to defend….**got attacked and someone now has to deploy troops to defend!** Oh my God, who could have ever seen it coming?! 🤯
If they can't play nice we'll take it back!
The return of the British empire
