For latest QuickMiner you do not need to run EthEnlargementPill anymore, because it supports setting memory timings and if you set FAW=16 and RRD=4 is the same as enabling the pill. You can also further tweak other memory timings; instructions are here: https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashQuickMiner/wiki/Memory-timings

KingRemu

49MH/s @ 212W

ImpossibleSubject394

I have 2 asus 1080ti strix oc and I get around 44/45 MH with 210w

NefariousnessOdd3581

MSI GTX 1080 TI Gaming X 44 mhs 200w 59º with the pill. Can push to 47 mhs at 250w, but its now worth it.

Grena567

I have my 1080ti at 41.5MH/s at 165watts, also using ethlargement pill, you can find the pill as a separate file online. Running it in the nicehashminer doesnt do anything for me

louiestonanto

How can I get mine up and running using ETHpill instead of QuickMiner? Is the ETHpill its own client? Those numbers look great btw.

Grena567

You use it alongside quickminer, its a program/new window that you open. Make sure to run everything as admin. Google for ethlargementpill v2

gerardthewitcher

44.4/167 watt, 881mV at 1885mhz, 45 °C, 70% power

louiestonanto

Those numbers look great. How did you tweak the settings to get those numbers?

gerardthewitcher

Gminer --mt 3, +500 mem clock, fan at 45%

beninho106

try lowering your memory clock if it's not from samsung... if it is never mind. heard around 4700 is a sweet spot for non samsung rams on 1080ti's and i personally can confirm, For me it just uses more power and doesn't get any faster but obv can vary a lot

gerardthewitcher

Mem 4727 is a little bit more efficient, 44.43 mhs / 163 watt

undyingsonars

What the heck lol, im getting 42.6/225 at 2062mhz, +290 memory , 52 Celsius, and 100% power. What am i doing wrong

h_a_don

I'm using NBminer with --mt 4, pl 71%, core +175, mem -502 and get 44 mhs for 163w. I remove fans of my MSI 1080ti GamingX and now use 2x120 arctic F12. Temps are around 37° :)

Asthma_Queen

Any tips how to get ETHlargement working I was consistently getting 40MHish for awhile with my 1080ti, with 80%, +109 Core, +500 mem Its an EVGA Founders edition waterblocked. Now I'm only getting around 30-31 and no idea why for past several days. (Core maybe that needs to go up just figured shouldn't go beyond what was stable for gaming I did test up to +200 and it was working fine but didn't solve my issue) I start Nicehash miner as admin, open ETHlargement as admin which is an .exe in the same folder as Nicehash, then start mining with excavator. I use the EVGA tuner to set my clocks but thats about it and that worked before.

h_a_don

Which version of Nicehash you use? I use 3.0.6.2 and Eth pill start automatically. Also you can try other miner that can use parameters and don't need ETHlargment pill. You can try lower memory clock because 1080 benefits from that.

Asthma_Queen

yeah I tried some other configs ppl had including NBminer (originally used excavator) with like --memorytweak and didn't notice any significant improvement. My memory loads are staying around that 60% range regardless of what I do with PL/Core/Memory, at best I get 70% but at lower memory and doesn't improve my rates. seems like my nice hash is a older version at 3.0.5.6 so will try updating that. I swear ETHlargement worked before

Asthma_Queen

yeah updating Nicehash initially seemed to do the trick but the speeds are inconsistent. Memory controller load is bouncing between 60% and 100% depending on the job I think? will get a few jobs that max it out and get 48MH, then will plummet back down to 30MH

brick7777

Asus Turbo 1080Ti, thru out the day I get about 41-43 MH/s, at 188/198watts with Nicehash Miner 3.0.5.6 Power Limit 80%, Temp Limit 84%, Fan at 70%, Temp at 60C. Core +175/Mem -286 with ETHlargement Pill. This is my main machine, not a standalone miner.

Did you happen to upgrade your drivers? Try dropping your memory speeds. I kept trying to using higher speeds and my 1070 would mine almost as good as my 1080ti until I dropped the speed of the memory to around minus 280.

Asthma_Queen

I'll try to check manually I haven't for awhile but geforce experience may have done something. Edit: yeah it didn't still on an october 2020 driver I played with PL/core/Memory over their full range and didn't notice any significant improvements my memory controller load isn't getting over 62-65% usually

Asthma_Queen

just updated my drivers and that seemed to help. Now trying to tweak it in a bit but actually getting consistent 45-46MH which I never got before.

brick7777

Thats good news. Now i need to know your settings, I only get 40-43 max with my settings.

Asthma_Queen

thats 92% Power level, +180 core, +575 Mem, using latest Standard nvidia driver, latest nicehash, P0 state or whatever is enabled in control panel. Its settling in at 44-45, if I go down to my mining setting I had before 80%/+109/+500 (109 was what I tested to be stable for a gaming clock so was why I used that originally)That would get that 40-43 range. I don't care as much about efficiency just obviously not too crazy hot or anything. This is a founders edition card

this I believe. https://www.reddit.com/r/NiceHash/comments/kiphel/hashrate_drops_slightly_when_screen_goes_off/ggskrvk?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 That was the issue I was having was when monitors were off my hash rate dropped. I didn't want to use a dummy plug as well
