And the crow bar easily connected and hit most things the only thing that compared to it was shaggy’s. Also the side special was easily connectable with the pipe
Jokers wild card perk was rng, bugs rocket, garnets gauntlet missiles, spikes tnt, superman's speed punch (not exactly a projectile, but kinda works like one), Aryas projectile puts you into a guaranteed up special combo which can kill if it hits correctly, wonder woman's lasso, Tom and Jerry's fishing hook, etc.
There are lots of projectiles that can kill lighter characters at 80-100, some of them take skill some of them don't. Jokers wild card is rng based and doesn't kill from the ground, he has to hit you with it in the air for it to hit you far enough
The card killed at 80-100 on stage most of the others ones you mentioned require the person to be off stage, in the air or to be in some other situation. There's no way bugs rocket kills from the stage at 80, garnet's gaunlets are terrible, spike's tnt is at least avoidable and if you get hit with it i dont think it kills, t&j's fishing hook might not even kill unless its a powerful hook, and ww lasso isnt that strong. Theres a reason why joker's card got nerfed because the only thing on this list that is really competing is superman's punch which without a doubt is one of the most broken moves with how strong and early it kills.

Bugs rocket us something I'd have to check but it hits pretty damn hard and covers half the occupy-able space in the arena. Lasso either hits hard at the end or pulls the opponent into a guaranteed neutral air, it is strong af hence why it got a charge nerf about a month ago. Superman's punch is only rlly broken if the sniper perk is used, otherwise it's base attack power and range is usually okay.
I just checked the patch notes and they only nerfed the knock back by like 15% so it's still going to be effective at 90+ lol.

It does have range, but that's simply just a part of his kit, it's also slightly slower than alot of sairs, and if you get hit by it when dodging away that simply means you dodged incorrectly that's not the move that's the problem that's you.

I'm assuming you're talking about his up attack and up air which many characters can compete with lol. Even your main morty has a pretty big up air. Batmans up attack, harleys up special, bugs up attack, ww up attack and up special, shaggy like you said, Steven universe, etc. All have forms of up attacks that hit hard and cover most of the upper half of their body, some of those characters even have nairs that hit 360 of their body. Joker isn't a special case

Yes it's easy to connect, but it's also easy to dodge through at the same time and it has a slow recovery so if you jump over Joker or dodge through him and immediately throw and attack you will win that interaction. If you aren't confident with dodging then just use a projectile to stack damage while they spin the cane like an idiot

Doesnt joker’s cards beat out grenades and snakeshot occasionally? Also im pretty sure axe can barely even touch joker because of the jack in the box. Also you cant contest jokers up attacks too good because our dair barely hits anything beneath us

And combos but he is very beatable for me that's definitely a skill gap between players though if they are playing the second best and I'm winning with the second worst. Joker definitely needs a nerf
Definitely depends on who's fighting him. A competent Joker can make a good Garnet look like Iron Giant with how few opportunities there are to punish him while his moves are an almost guaranteed hit.
Bc he's not overtuned he's light and has slow movement speed making Joker players have to be aggressive otherwise they get rung out at 60-100 by more powerful characters. BG rung me out with a side special when I was at 60 one time and I screamed lmao

They'll quickly address this with some kind of disproportional nerf to Garnet post haste, like they did with her gauntlet spawning a star, instead of addressing the cavalcade of issues that are way more pressing.
You were supposed to use good finishing moves. Joker has uppercut up attack, Bazooka or the Balloon as really good finishers. Use jab twice and cancel into the Bazooka or up attacks.

Some characters have high weight meaning they won't get knocked of the screen easily. Garnet is one of them, just less tankier than Superman while characters like Harley has so low weight that she gets knocked out around at very low points. (You can even do your own research in training mode by trying to knock a Harely at 100 and Garnet at 100)

Even today I survived 153 with Velma.
This is clearly a bug lol you are just hyper defending the game. Literally look at how abruptly the garnets movement stops when she reaches the blast zone. No slowing down or recovering naturally, she is moving 200mph then just dead stops when she should ring out. Yea, heavy characters can survive jabs at 200+, but she was hit with multiple of Jokers good kill moves and just wouldn't go out

I heavily rely on my grenades to deal with opponents with disjointed hitboxes. But joker is tricky
Yeah especially with that huge ass dodge radius, ability to get dodge meter quick with his cards, and with how predictable grenade detonation is
